Langhoff & Juul

I had the "spinage package" for starters, which was great. The veal for the main was very chewy, unfortunately. The dessert was a rather peculiar form of ris-a-la-mande. Not bad!

For anybody reading this thinking of visiting, don’t bother. Google will tell you they’re open… they are not. It is closed permanently.

We’ve now visited Langhoff & Juul twice for dinner and have booked our next dining experience here for our upcoming trip to Aarhus. It’s our favourite dining place in the city - great atmosphere, incredible food and really knowledgable staff. The wine cellar is excellent and there’s a simple kids menu - a big hit with ours.

An excellent brunch-offering - everything I sampled was tasty, and there's free refills on basically every part of it. There's also enough food there to fill mostly anyone up WITHOUT any refills, but it's still a nice policy - just in case there's some part of the platter you particularly fall in love with!

I was really looking forward to the brunch because it was a surprise for my girlfriend, who had a birthday that day. We did not like the taste of the food. My brunch could have been better, the tastes of the meal were weird. I have never experienced not liking food this much, I love food, and I eat everything, that is why I decided to write the review. However, still, it might be good for others. My girlfriend had a salad with shrimps. A salat for 170kr with the smallest size shrimps was a very weird combination (cheese on top of it). You might like the food, but if you are not used to it, it might not be a lovely experience. The staff behaved well.

Made a reservation and wrote in the remarks field that we would come with our dog since we were on holiday. I asked if that was a problem, and if so to tell me before we arrived. The reservation was confirmed without remarks. When we arrived, they told us dogs were not allowed. So we had to look for another restaurant.

Well made dishes. Not your regular normal dishes.

Very tasty, high quality food and plating. However, portions are on the smaller side. We got a quite cramped table way too close to a wall. The waiting staff will most certainly come across as a little too "young and hip" to some.

The waiter is rude. The restaurant was empty and he told us that all tables are reserved when he saw that we had two kids with us

Great service. Came here with a large group and they brought everything out right away. If you enjoy typical danish food, then you will probably like it. very aesthetic and tasteful. I only gave it 3 stars because I am not used to this type of food!

Dinner at Langholff & Juul was the highlight of our trip to Aarhus. We ordered the two course menu for 278 kr with two glasses of wine for 190 kr. Our dinner was one of the best meals we've had! The chef greeted us when we entered the restaurant and sat us down at a lovely candlelit table in the front window. Our waiter took our coats and gave me an English menu and my boyfriend a Danish menu, while speaking to us in English. I really appreciated that they made the effort to explain all of the wine and courses in English - hearing the details of the meal made it that much more enjoyable. The menu is both seasonal and organic. To be honest I don't remember exactly what we ordered but it was all so good! My favorite dish was my main course which has sweet potatoes cooked in three ways. I would return here in a heartbeat the next time we're in Aarhus.

Looks and smells great. But I was looking to get some coffee an cake 35 minutes before the closing time, and they were not taking new orders. I wonder how early you have get here. Disappointing.

Nice place with friendly staff. Good and large brunch. Gluten free/glutenfri option. Minimalistic and design interior with about 10 tables. 8 tables outside.

Food is excellent, service is lovely. Charging $4 for half a litre of tap water in tetra pak, though. That needs to change. Not cool.
