A very good experience ! I booked for "A little bit of everything tour" on 7th october, and it was perfect ! The kindness of the team, our two guides who explained a lot of things about horses, nature and history and taked care of us for all the tour ( the lunch was wonderful). The weather was exceptional ! Well done Ísland! A big thanks to Gormur, the horse, for carrying me for 4h between beach and valley. Icelandic horses are incredibly well treated and they give us back ! To finish, I booked for the waffles and the bath for my husband and I, the options on the farm. I recommand, it was absolutely perfect after the riding. Amazing experience if you are visiting the North of Iceland. Family owned farm who really care about the welfare of their horses and very cute lapinkoira. Their Icelandic horses are Very easy to ride even for a nervous newbie like me☺️ delicious homemade food and a warm true Icelandic hospitality. Highlight of my trip :)

Lukka and Laki, her helpers Clara and Louise all gave us such a wonderful experience when we visited this week in the worst weather for our disabled son to ride. Lukka went above and beyond to make the experience terrific for him from start to delicious waffle finish. Her horses are wonderful and very well looked after. She had an adapted saddle for both little children and perfect for our son ready for us to use. She worked hard running around to make the ride fun. Only wish we had been able to ride out if the weather had permitted - but we would highly recommend this terrific traditional Icelandic riding experience. Thank you especially from Sam 😁

Wow is all we can say. Our young kids (ages 4.5 and 2.5) had the best time ever! Mom and dad had an amazing time, too. Lukka was incredible. She and her staff are amazing with kids. They were fun, patient, caring, and funny. Lukka is also incredibly knowledgeable about Icelandic natural heritage, culture, and history, and was very generous with her time. We absolutely loved learning about Icelandic horses. But we also learned a little bit about Icelandic dogs. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious lunch of traditional Icelandic waffles with topping choices including rhubarb jam, blueberry jam, Nutella, maple syrup (from Canada!), whip cream and more. We ended our excursion with a soak in their super relaxing geothermal hot tub made up of waters from the local Langhus hot spring and fresh mountainous spring waters. If we could give this experience 10 stars, we most certainly would. Thank you so much Lukka and family, and to assistant guides Magda and Kristina. My wife and I did the "a little bit of everything" tour yesterday morning. Lukka prepared everything well for us and dressed us in overalls to make sure we were kept warm. And the two female guides who went with us were just excellent and we were extremely impressed with them. Both guides took very good care of us throughout the entire journey and provided us with alot of information on Iceland/horses/nature which we were keen to learn. Not to mention, the horses were also very tamed and we felt very safe on them We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and am thankful to the team at langhus farm for making this a memorable experience for us.Well done!! 👍

We had an amazing time during our horse riding tour on a viking trail. The horses are beautiful, very nice and very comfortable. The girls that guided us were really nice and told us a lot of interesting information about Iceland and icelandic horses. Evwrything was perfect! :)

An immediate recommendation if you want to go horse riding in Iceland. It doesn't matter if you are a professional or a complete beginner, the horses there can handle everything. We came back to ride for three days in a row and it never got boring. We went up a little hill through a river and even cross country riding. You will also get to experience the special pace that only Icelandic horses are capable of doing. And if you are tired after a long ride there ist the possibility to use a small hot tub. Although there is a fee the relaxation is worth it. The family that runs the farm is extremely friendly and approachable. I can really recommend this farm and would encourage you to check it out.

On a bright and glorious morning I had my first experience with the Icelandic breed of horse, and everything about it was lovely. Everyone was really friendly and helpful - from the owners to the staff to the horses themselves. I enjoyed meeting the horses in the barn, and getting to know my mount in the indoor arena before we ventured outside. The tölt was so much smoother and slower than I expected since I was comparing it to a regular trot. It was very comfortable to ride! Since it was March and all of northern Iceland was still coated in snow, I appreciated the soak in the hot tub afterward to warm up my toes. Thank you for an all-around wonderful time!
