Langosteria Café Milano

Absolutely fantastic experience, 6 of us dropped in and ate at the bar, we got the tasting menu and shared a some wine that was recommended to complement all the dishes. The staff were friendly, informative and energetic. A great experience all round and a fantastic tasting menu, the flavours created by the chefs tasted tremendous. My dietary choices were taken into consideration as I am lactose intolerant, my only small gripe would be it would have been nice to have had a sauce of some type with the octopus dish, this was supposed to have a chorizo sauce accompanying it which I couldn’t have, however it was a key bit that married the dish and the chefs I was eating with agreed it would have been nice for the kitchen to accommodate even with a simple tomato base like the one from the starter. Any way, would highly recommend.

I recently visited Langisteria Cafe and tried a few items from their seafood selection — grilled octopus, scallops, and oysters — and overall, it was a great experience. The grilled octopus was the standout for me. Perfectly cooked with a tender texture and just the right amount of char. It had a nice smoky flavor and was paired well with a light dressing that didn’t overpower the natural taste. The scallops were fresh and delicately seared, though I wish they had a touch more seasoning or citrus to brighten them up. Still, the quality was there. As for the oysters, they were undeniably fresh, served chilled and clean. Would definitely return, especially to try more from the raw bar or see what’s seasonal on the menu.

Had a fantastic experience at this restaurant in Milan! The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant — perfect for any occasion. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with clear attention to quality. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole evening even better. Seafood lovers must come here! Red tuna with foie gras and black truffle is heavenly! Ceviche here is so fresh and tasty!

My opinion USED to be: Amazing staff, amazing food, atmosphere. Absolutely divine. 10/10 would recommend. HOWEVER, now i would say. If you want a good oyster then come, otherwise dont bother. The food is subpar for the price. The food is salty, uninspired, and some dishes lack taste. The lunch service we had a few months ago was amazing, the dinner service is a no. The staff continues to be amazing, but the food is diabolical. 180 euro for oysters, two dishes and two glasses of wine. Come for lunch and oysters, ABSOLUTELY avoid for dinner.

Upscale dining. Menu consists mainly of seafood dishes. If you have an allergy make sure to tell the server and they will do their best to accommodate. We enjoyed the grilled octopus, potato puree and fish. Also their desserts are great! Friendly service and they offer seating in the bar area. Reserve in advance.

We went there straight two nights. The ambiance is nice. Food is great and service is wonderful. The second night we brought the whole family. Everybody loves it. The lobster is so delicious. Gnocchi is also good. Love all the dishes. The chocolate tater dinner is perfect. The wine is really good
