This is a marvellous place to stay if you want to explore Rhode Island and Connecticut. We arrived to a lovely welcome and our room was very comfortable and had all that we needed including a lovely big bath. There are some excellent restaurants nearby and despite not being a major city uber is easily available if you fancy a drink as well. The wines produced are very nice and we even brought a couple of bottles home with us.

My husband and I stayed 1 night for our wedding anniversary. We stayed on the second floor. We were the only ones that were renting it out. We went on 1/2/25. Because it’s an old house, the windows didn’t shut all the way. When we arrived the room was at 50 degrees. It made it hard to get ready for our dinner reservations. We were gone for about 2 hours. We figured the room would heat up. When we arrived back, it only raised 10 degrees. We texted Rebecca and we told us where we can find more blankets. Which those were extremely helpful! Our room was pretty and clean…just extremely cold. We understand it’s an old house, and it can be drafty but we didn’t sleep at all that night. Because of that, it made it a hard time driving back home the next morning. I would recommend staying during the warmer months. Since the owners were away on vacation, they had a close friend take care of us. She was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing, we had 4-5 cups of coffee, not because we needed it, it was THAT good! Let’s talk about the wine! We had the white rose. It was amazing! We bought a bottle to take home! The winery was closed so we couldn’t enjoy it like we wanted to. But they gave us a wine of bottle for our room(there was a charge) but came with a basket and chocolates and nut. It was beautiful made up! Besides the room, everything about this mansion was adorable! The owner and friend were amazing people! My husband and I were discussing how we wanted to come back, but not in the winter months. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to stay with a loved one, this is the place to stay! They don’t allow children and animals at this time, which is fine by me! A mom of 3 and 4 animals, and taking care of an elderly,…this was perfect and quiet!

Beautiful location, host was very very sweet and the wine was great. Highly suggest their tasting for 12$!

Visited the winery and it is under new ownership. Rebecca was super friendly and attentive. Had a flight tasting and would highly recommend all the white wines if you love white wines. Nice to see new owners that want to get involved in the community and are willing to listen to their customers feedback. Looking forward to visiting again!

The Inn and hosts are superb. My wife and I decided to have a quick getaway to Watch Hill and Westerly and were so lucky to have booked the Langworthy. Everything about the Inn was idyllic. Rebecca, our host, was delightful and charming and the lovely room and amenities were spotless and well appointed. We arrived in time to grab a glass of wine in the tasting room of the winery they operate across the driveway from the Inn. For those that know the area and especially for those that don't the Inn is situated a short walk from the beach fronts of Weekapaug and Misquamicut and at this time of year it is a serene dreamscape. Aside from the hospitality of the hosts the other guests were equally as charming and friendly. We could not recommend it more highly.

"Whats not to love?" As a jaded Manhattanite if I didn't find Langworthy the epitome of what a charming, beautiful and quaint B&B is, my husband Gary and I would not have stayed there on 3 seperate occasions in the last few years. The location is perfect, 40 minutes from Newport, Mystic CT and 10 minutes to beautiful Watch Hill Beach. The best part are the hosts, Rebecca and Josh. We would go back just to hang out with them, smart, and fun and just overall nice people. Their hospitality was amazing and so was their fabulous, hearty breakfast. They directed us to new places to eat and tour. We stayed on the 2nd floor in the Colonel Ward Bedroom with a King size bed that was so beautifully made, we didnt want to sleep on it. Oops, forgot to tell about the added bonus, they own a very impressive winery on the property. Can't wait to go next summer! ||Nina & Gary

I always enjoyed stopping for a wine tasting after a late lunch at Windjammer. Website said they open at 4 on Friday. I drove in sign was hanging crooked & looks abandoned. Sad.

We stayed in the Governor Ward Suite for two nights. We were pleasantly surprised to find a dressing room between the bedroom and the bathroom. Awesome dual showers. Bed was comfy. The website didn't specify where this room was located. We were on the first floor in the front. We were surprised by the Inn and winery's location on the corner of two busy streets, so street noise was something we didn't anticipate. A/C in the room was loud and leaking. Our room key also opened the side door entrance to the Inn. The front door of the Inn didn't lock. My boyfriend was concerned about security, but everything turned out ok. No window treatments and the blinds didn't fit the windows fully, so felt a little on display considering this was 1st floor. Joe was a gracious host making great breakfasts and providing excellent suggestions and tips for our visit. Murals in the dining room are well done and beautiful to look at. The vineyard was small and we enjoyed the wine tasting but only liked 3 of 10 wines. Westerly white was our favorite wine. We would have preferred a one night stay but 2 nights were required. Joe has done a lot with the property since 1999. I hope he finds a buyer who will propel the business into the future while preserving the best parts of the past.

Yelp
Another beautiful little Rhode Island gem! Excellent wine and very friendly staff. We sat out back overlooking the vineyard and enjoyed a bottle of wine and the day!

Yelp
Awesome little winery adjacent to the bed and breakfast. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff member who's name escapes me, but she was a fellow Phish Phan, so we knew we were in good company. Nice selection of wines and pleasant setting for a tasting. Enjoy

Yelp
Turned away 17 minutes before closing. Even when we asked just to have a glass of wine and go. Been here many times but that was rude. And from the owner. Left a bad taste in my mouth and I used to like the wine. Being a business owner o would definetly handled that differently

Jennifer M.

Yelp
This is still a great little winery to visit, though I do with they had a little more sweet wine to choose from. My husband and I both like the Rhody Riesling as well as the Pleasant Point Petit Verdot. Staff is always super friendly and we stop here at least once a year. :)

Yelp
As we have been traveling North, we have stopped at numerous family wineries and this one is among our favorites. Mike loved a couple of the reds: a merlot blend and their cab; while I loved their Chardonnay Reserve. Shauna was our charming and informative hostess, who was really welcoming!!! This tiny farm grows exclusively white grapes and buys the rest to blend. The original Victorian Queen Anne farmhouse doubles as a B & B. It would be a fabulous place for a small outdoor gathering. We really enjoyed our time here and the excellent cheese and fruit plate with crackers. A great way to relax and kick back in their side yard or the back overlooking their vines...

Yelp
We had a fantastic time here today! My parents are not drinkers but knew my husband and I would enjoy this place, so we came. My mom ended up doing a tasting with us, and it was fun to help her determine wines she likes! We ended up buying a few bottles to bring back to New Jersey. The safety protocols were good, and we really appreciated the women who were working there. All of the wines are delicious- I love the oak barrel ones the most!

Yelp
After a rough couple months my husband and I decided we needed a break but didn't want to travel far from home since we only had a weekend. We chose Langworthy Farms and couldn't have made a better choice. The B&B was spotlessly clean and so comfortable it was hard to leave the room. Fresh and might I say delicious coffee was available every morning outside the room allowing us to slowly eaze our way into our day. The host prepared us a wonderful breakfast each morning and after that a quiet sit down in one of the lovely common rooms to sit and make our plans. Westerly is FULL of quaint little shops and great places to grab a bite , easily traveled on foot was a bonus. After a little shopping a stop back at the winery for a tasting or a glass of wine served by the NICEST employees one can imagine. A little cheese and olives while you sit and sip? Sure don't mind if I do...a sumptuous chocolate truffle to compliment that lush red...well who can say no LOL. Back to the room at night a HUGE king size bed loaded with comforters and blankets and crisp white sheets ( like grandma had on her bed when I was a kid ) awaits, after a relaxing soak in the jacuzzi tub. We came back home after only 2 days feeling as though we'd spend 2 WEEKS we were so relaxed.

Yelp
Stars for the Winery only. Pleasant time if your in the area. The surroundings are relaxed & natural w a view of the vineyard and the typical rocky RI shoreline, flowers, trees, w a hint of sea breeze just off the coast. The wines are pretty good. Not amazing. Highlight: Weekapaug White & the Shady Harbor Chardonnay. The Steele barrel aged Weekapaug White Chardonnay- grapefruit, fruit forward dry but not w the traditional oaky buttery finish. And the Shady Harbor Chardonnay aged in American oak which isn't as intense as the French variety. It lingers, was very drinkable- I actually preferred it once it chilled down & would be perfect w seafood. We did the 5 tasting: 5 whites & 5 reads. Left w the Weekapaug Chardonnay & the Misquamicut Merlo (Merlo seems to do well here & the N Fork of LI). The service is congenial and pleasant. They also serve charcuterie. The cheese plate of Brie, Camembert & aged cheddar w grapes & water crackers paired nicely w our tasting.

Yelp
We stayed in the Maple Room on a recent visit to our family at the RI shore. I'd grown up in the area and drove by every trip to our cottage. I was excited that the current owners had built it up into a B&B and winery. On my last trip, we visited the winery for a tasting, which was fine considering location/climate challenges. On this trip, we stayed at the B&B itself. The room was extremely comfortable. Clean, air conditioned, nicely furnished. We popped our heads into a couple of the other rooms that were empty and they were really nice too (there are good photos on their website of all the rooms). The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I've ever had at a B&B. It was open seating, and there was always a choice of two dishes (usually an egg/meat/cheese dish vs a waffle/pancake dish). There is free wifi and a couple of nice sitting rooms to catch up on email. Sadly, the giant oak tree recently had to be taken down due to age/disease/Sandy? The fifth star would be there if there was a complimentary tasting for guests or "wine at 5" like many other B&Bs offer. All in all - for the price/location/amenities - a great choice for a few nights by the shore (just about 1 mile to the public beach/breakwater)

Yelp
We bought a bottle of Cab at Langworthy. The wine was expensive and the bottle I received had a ton of sediment on the cork and tasted like vinegar. Great service inside but the wine was not good at all.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place. The room was big and spectacular with a fireplace and it's own bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. We met the owner, joe and he was very sweet. There's a winery only a few feet away. The whole experience was wonderful.

Yelp
Love the food. Breakfast was yummy. The owners were very nice , the room and bathroom were very clean. We enjoyed the wine tasting afterwards too and the young gentleman was very knowledgeable about wines. Overall, it is a nice little getaway.

Yelp
We stayed at the bed & breakfast over the past weekend and it was a great experience. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite on the third floor. The room was great although if you are looking for the latest and greatest in technology this is not it. It's quaint and old fashioned. The B&B has a winery as well. The tasting was fun and the winery is great. The breakfast was the best part of the while experience. They gave us two delicious options each morning and provided a great setting (see picture). The B&B is located in a great spot near all the beaches and stores. For the experience, it is fairly priced and we will do it again.

Yelp
We LOVED this stop on our wine tasting tour! Just a bike ride from the Westerly RI State Beach and right on the main route, so access is super easy. Their wines were on the dry side, which we prefer, so if you're looking for those sweet, cloying "fruit" wines, you might be disappointed. That said, there were a few that had higher residual sugars that were very good. The back deck is the perfect spot to pop a bottle and take in the view of their vines. We didn't get any sales pressure from the staff member poring, who was a real treat to chat with. Big fan of this laid back setting and tasting room. We hope to return with friends in tow!

Yelp
This is for the wine only: The woman who sold me the bottle of Merlot was chilly. I wanted to taste before I bought and all three I tasted were, well, I hate to say it but swill. Bitter, strong ethanol fumes, etc. Just because you have a vineyard doesn't mean what you produce is any good. I felt captive as she stared at me. Feeling desperate, I said, "umm, can I taste the merlot?" She sighed and said, "yes, but I can't give you more after that." That's right. Like I was some homeless wino off the street trying to get a free buzz, from the half tablespoon she poured (into the same glass every time) to give me a taste. Just to get out of there, I bought the merlot, the least awful of what I tried. It was also around 17, 18 dollars.

Yelp
Review for the winery only. The man who owns it is very rude and made me regret spending a single penny there. When we arrived we were the only people there and sat outside. It started raining shortly after so we moved inside the very small space with only a few tables. A few more parties showed up and piled into the small room. Eventually a couple arrived and decided not to stay since there was nowhere left to sit. While waiting next to the bathroom I overheard the owner rudely comment to the server that we should have left by now (he didn't realize that I was part of the party). I assume he said this because my glass and my husband's were empty yet my mom still had half a glass. We had just decided what bottle to order next when I overheard the comment. We had only been there for around 25 minutes. Clearly this man views his customers as walking wallets and decided that we should get out since he already had our money. 10 minutes before that incident he had walked up and tried to put on the charm for a minute while handing me a tasting menu not realizing we were already at a table. The server walked up at the same moment and noted that I already had wine. Without acknowledging me again or asking how else he could help me he turned around and simply walked away. We tried several of the wines as well and all but one tasted worse than a good bottle left open for a week. I will certainly not be returning.

Yelp
Updating my previous poor review. We gave it another try, and visited on a beautiful summer day. It was very busy, but we were cheerfully greeted and shown to an open table on the deck overlooking the vines. Our server was wonderfully attentive and very knowledgeable about the wines, most of which we liked very much! After our tasting, we purchased a bottle to enjoy on the front deck with some snacks. At about five minutes before closing time, the owner pulled into the lot get out of the car, and barked to our server to move it along while tapping his wrist. Apparently he wants everybody off his winery property at exactly closing time, and then came down to sternly overlook transactions as we were purchasing more wine to bring home. He did not greet us, he did not thank us for coming there, and apparently just wants people gone. It is a shame, it ruined what was otherwise a five-star experience.

Cody M.

Yelp
A group of my girls decided to stop In for a tasting, everything was well and the lady was super nice! How ever the owner was nothing but RUDE! Stormed on the deck and started ripping off the cushions because it was almost closing time. I smiled and he didn't even acknowledge us. I felt so bad for the poor girl who was serving us. She did an amazing job we left a big tip and didn't bother to buy anything from there. Will not spend a penny there.

Deb C.

Yelp
Don't bother contacting them by email. Got a short, rude answer to my question about availability. Won't risk spending my money if this is how they feel about guests.

Joe P.

Yelp
We had a nice stay at this B&B and the wine tasting was interesting. However after buying a couple of bottles and bringing them home one was bad. It tasted like vinegar so I called the place and they wanted me to return it for an exchange. Since I live about 150 miles away that was not possible so I asked for a refund. I haven't received a refund on my $17 bottle of bad wine, that's bad business in my book. Get a room with central air.

Melissa M.

Yelp
I have tasted the wine and stayed at the bed & breakfast. I stayed here twice: a couple nights 3 years ago, and a couple nights recently. The bed & breakfast is really quaint, and is like stepping through time into New England history. Very old-fashioned wall paper adorns each room. The windows have white wooden shutters on the inside instead of blinds to help control natural light. The main floor has a couple large sitting rooms, one with a piano and a few board games for those who want to stay in. The breakfast in the AM is fantastic. When you sit at the table, you are greeted with fresh fruit, coffee, and either fresh muffins or sliced specialty bread (like ginger bread). This is my favorite part of staying here because these muffins are FANTASTIC. So moist and satisfying. The type of muffin usually depends on what is in season. After you sit you get a choice of two main entrees. One is usually an egg item, and the other can be something like French Toast or Belgian Waffles. The couple that runs the bed & breakfast is very friendly and helpful. I would give this place 5 stars, but there is an excess of dust here (I was reacting pretty badly to it). Its not just that not everything was dusted, but each bedroom has thick carpet and has wall paper, which also collects dust. If you're like me and can't take allergy medicines because they don't work, you may have some trouble after a night of sleeping here. In terms of the winery, I enjoyed many of the wines I tasted, but my absolute favorite is the Misquamicut Merlot. It's got a full bodied flavor with a lingering peppery and oaky finish that dreams are made of (if dreams were made of delicious red wine). My husband and I brought some fresh sliced Jamon Serrano with us from NYC to snack on with this wine while we sat outside enjoying the mild weather. The day couldn't get any more perfect!

Bill B.

Yelp
We recently stayed at Langworthy Farm Bed & Breakfast on a day trip. It was early in the season, so we were the only guests in the house that night. We arrived an hour after normal check in time ends, but Sharry greeted us warmly with a smile. The house is beautiful, the rooms are big and nicely furnished, and best of all - clean! They have at least six rooms to choose from on 3 stories (we stayed on the 3rd floor - would have had a great view of the bay if it weren't so overcast), each with its own personality. Comfortable bed, jacuzzi bath in many rooms. Only complaint (and its a small one) is that there could be more mirrors in the room so you can check your look before going downstairs - but there is a HUGE mirror on the wall on the main floor. In the morning, there was hot coffee outside the door at 7 am, and Joe made excellent Belgian waffles and frittatas for breakfast, with fresh fruit too - I almost forgot - homemade banana bread (a real treat for me). As we left, we visited the winery in back and bought a pair of very reasonably priced wines. Just a short drive from Watch Hill and Misquamicut Beach. An excellent experience overall, we will be returning, that's for sure.

Yelp
Just tried to book two nights and was refused because I have a service dog. They don't believe they are obligated to accommodate disabled people because the building is their home.

Yelp
Fun stop on the Coastal Wine Trail. http://www.coastalwinetrail.com/vineyards/langworthy-farm.htm Didn't stay at the bed and breakfast, but enjoyed the winery. We went for Chowder on the Deck and a wine tasting selecting 5 wines plus long stem glass. They offered either New England Clam, RI Clam, and Shrimp and Corn Chowder. The RI Clam Chowder was excellent. The cup was free, and in hindsight I would have paid for a full bowl, but I didn't think to ask if that option was available. Cozy, small and not crowded perhaps because other wineries were having a Mother's Day event. It is not far from the beach, downtown Westerly, Pawcatuck, CT, and Watch Hill, RI. Quiet serene, friendly owner. They are having other food related events and I would especially love to attend: Aug. 18th+19th "Art Festival on the Lawn" On my way there was a visitor center and I found the best publication "The Consignment Shopping Guide trademark in the Ocean State" so, I suppose I'd like to check out some of those stores in Westerly and then go to the winery.
