"I also got a smoothie from Lanakai Juice. It’s an amazing smoothie place that I’ll definitely return to."

The place is just near the bus stop so I came here during my waiting. I ordered a coco champ and it was pretty good. The smoothie was completed in like 1 minute. Recommend.

So delicious! I asked the lady working what she suggested, and she said Da Green. I ordered that and very happy with it. Great choice!

Google
My go-to spot for açaí bowls! You can watch staff make your order and you know everything is fresh plus, it’s a convenient location to get in and get out (if you want) for more adventures.

Google
Update: no longer offering gluten free granola, and quality seems to have gone downhill. My last smoothie was filled with unblended chunks, bowls aren’t reliably full, and ingredients don’t seem as high quality. I appreciate they still have menu items on 10% off rotation, and loyalty rewards system. Been a regular for over a decade! Love that the granola is gluten free, and the almond milk unsweetened. I customize with almond milk instead of apple juice, and they’ve always been happy to modify ($.50 upcharge.) Easy eating for someone vegan and gluten free. I miss run club, which used to leave from the store Wed nights. I met so many great friends there. It can get very busy and loud, so beware if you’re sensitive to that. Order at counter and get lucky with a seat outside, or take away. The parking lot also gets very full.

I will definitely come back here 🤤 I’m pregnant and asked them to cook the fish more, unlike other places they did it for me! I ordered Ono Island ahi and it was soooooo good, fresh vegetables, fresh mango and strawberries and shredded coconut 🥥 🥭🍓 It was like a salad that you normally have in fancy restaurants.

Google
Great smoothies and delicious bowls. The staff was friendly and explained what types of things that they offered. They were quick and everything was delicious and fresh. The location had the new coffee that they will be selling in the future available for samples. 🌺👍🏻

Google
Multiple locations throughout Oahu serving up delectable refreshing juices! Can't go wrong. Pick your favorite flavor and enjoy!

Google
Definitely pre-order on a weekend (long lines & wait), there's a wide variety of smoothies, they aren't too sweet, AND their smoothies come in compostable containers and (update) paper straws! They won a Green Business award too. 💚 You can custom everything (remove honey and add cacao? Sure) "From 'aina to opu" (land to stomach) - nothing not to love.

Zuri M.

Yelp
The smoothies are very fresh. They are blended, yet still have those small chunks of pulp. My smoothie was good, but overpriced. Inside of this location is fairly small, and the service was friendly.

Yelp
Lanikai Juice has one of my favorite acai bowls! Just like most juice places, a little pricy.

Yelp
Lanikai Juice was ahead of it's time when they first opened up, but now I feel like they are struggling to keep up with all the other similar smoothie / acai bowl spots on the island. This location of Lanikai Juice is an OG and now I must say, I'm a bigger fan of their newer locations more. The line here is always really long and the vibe just isn't as laid back and friendly as it used to be. It seems like they are catering more towards to tourist than locals. If I'm getting an acai bowl, I'll go with either the acai extravaganza or the acai monkey with peanut butter, and cacao nibs. One thing that they don't do here is put multiple layers of granola in their bowls :( I really like it when there's a base layer of granola and a top layer. If I get a smoothie, I go for the acai smoothie with chocolate protein powder. The acai smoothies only come in one size, and the protein powder adds to it- so I ask for them to split it into 2 small cups. (Last time I asked for this, they seemed annoyed at me but usually it's not a problem). Maybe it's a bit of a tourist trap now but I do have great memories in high school of hiking up Lanikai pillboxes and then coming to Lanikai juice after for a sweet treat! Now they both seem kinda basic but basic is OK!

Yelp
Don't pass on this place if you're looking for amazing açaí bowls. They don't skimp on any toppings and everything tasted incredible.
google avatar

Jess C.

Yelp
Had the berry smoothie (a bit too sweet) and poga (?) juice, which was so refreshing. I personally love Lanikai Juice which is a local chain, and my favorite thing to get is the açaí bowls, which are refreshing deliciousand not to sweet. Will stick with that next time!
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
Wanted to try their açaí bowls. Was disappointed that the original only had granola and banana topping only. I still prefer Island Vintage's açaí original but glad I tried this one. This place is in a cute shopping center.

Yelp
Lanikai is the place that started my love for smoothies... Prior to Yelp I've always give this place some love whenever I'm in Kailua it's just the fresh sip of Hawai'i and you can really taste the freshness. I keep forgetting the two doors and I always choose the wrong door lol as it's positioned directly in front of the counter placement I just apologize and make my way to the back of the line hahaha!! As you enter you need to pay attention to the sign noting the flavor of the week as well where you get 10% off the featured items which is a great option. The vibe here screams like you're in the fish market as it's all blue with fish and other ocean creatures painted everywhere though there's nothing fishy here. I usually order the Pineapple Power, Dr. P.A.G.O or the Açaí Extravaganza but since I'm in Lanikai it was the Lanikai Splash for me today as it's loaded with Pineapple, Banana, Apple, Passion Fruit and Pineapple Juice this smoothie had it all. Love the various blends Lanikai offers all fresh and the combination makes it a healthy sip we all enjoy. Thank you!

Yelp
We went there after a great day at Kailua Beach. My son and I ordered Mr. Green smoothies. He found a couple small plastic pieces in his first few sips. He tried calling the store to advise them of it and the girl hung up on him. We went home and put rest of the drink in the strainer. I get the big pieces of ginger, but it also looked like a small cap was blended in.
google avatar

Kara B.

Yelp
Dr Green smoothie is my go to drink here at Lanikai. It's a perfect mid day pick me up, especially hen your body is feeling really down. I really like how there's banana, ginger, & other good stuff inside to support the body when it's starting to catch a bug also. The parking here wasn't too bad, we were able to find parking super quickly, right in front of the place. The service though, idk. When I first walked in, there were about 4 people working & like 1 customer before me waiting for her drink already. Once I walked in, NO ONE greeted me, or even acknowledged me. I stood at the cashier for a good 20 seconds waiting for someone to take my order. Even while waiting, no one told me that they'd be with me soon. When the girl (who was the closet to me) finally acknowledged my presence, she looked at me & just asked what I wanted. No hi, or welcoming greetings at all. Store is big enough, with two different doors to enter from. It's located right in the corner of the shopping center. Lots of lighting that comes in. Anyway, all in all, I would hate to come here again if there's no smiles or good customer service. They need to improve on that big time.

Jay B.

Yelp
One of our acai bowls was filled halfway and the other had a massive chunk of unblended acai. They also forgot to add honey too.

Maxim J.

Yelp
Bruh my bowl sucks. I got the acai colada and it tastes like water literally! No flavor at all. And I tried calling them to make an order but they were straight up ignoring me. I walked in and lo and behold they are not even busy... I would rather come in to see Jordan and Skylar. Sad I missed them.

Yelp
A smoothie and a juice in Kailua, O'ahu, Hawaii... I saw Lanikai Juice when I was at Bookends (Book Store) a while ago. I had it in my head to go back some day and try it. Well, that day arrived... I play mahjong in Kailua every week, so, I planned on getting a smoothie before my game one day. I parked for free in front of the shop, walked in, and saw a poster for 10% off three certain items. The first thing I pointed to on the poster (when it was my turn to order) was the Sunrise Chill. The cashier asked me if I wanted it without ice... I said, "Okay". It didn't register with me that it was a juice combination of orange, pineapple, and apple. It was so good, that I drank it right away - all of it! (I think I was dehydrated.) It was refreshing, too! Since I was there - and had already registered online for their Rewards Program - I decided to get the Kailua Monkey. This was a smoothie and it took a longer time to drink because it was thicker. The contents were: peanut butter, banana, whey protein, organic soy milk, and honey. It must have been crunchy peanut butter because I chewed on little bits of peanut! The taste was quite good! These two drinks were my lunch for the day. Haha! I enjoyed it! I'll stop by again on mahjong day and try other combinations and flavors!

Yelp
I really liked this acai bowl. It's everything you expect in your average bowl. Everything was super fresh. They even take their time making the bowl so you know it's pretty fresh. Worth the price.
google avatar

Eloy G.

Yelp
Visited this place while visiting Lanikai which by the way has the best beach ever! Anyway, now to the food. I got the coco champ smoothie and it was delish, fresh and overall had a good flavor and would order it again. The service was average and was a little slow. They had a rush while I was there and only two young ladies working. Probably works good for most of the day except for when it gets busy. The ambiance is typical smoothie/juice place and situated in a good place. I would definitely be back!
google avatar

V V.

Yelp
Ordered two smoothies that were very good (Lanikai Splash and Kailua Monkey). Line was long and servers were hard at work getting orders done promptly. A small shop but worth the wait for a good smoothy.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
Haven't been here in quite awhile and seeing a huge new menu with a focus on Acai makes me think it must be good. My wife ordered an Acai Smoothie and it was horrible. It was watery and very weak. With an extensive acai menu you would think the employees would all be skilled in acai products. It was probably too much ice because it tasted like watery acai. The comparison to Jamba Juice is NOT even close. I am shocked!!! I think the employees should be trained to measure out ingredients properly and taste it to insure that customers get a quality product. It wasn't even busy around 4:00pm either.
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
Tried their acai bowl on a hot, humid day. Delicious ! Not too sweet with just enough granola and fruit. Nice little corner shop.
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
Stopped here after the beach for an Acai bowl, delicious! Recommend coming here if you're looking for a nice cold treat! They also sell smoothies that looked delicious, will have to try next time!
google avatar

Chaz B.

Yelp
Much better than any Jamba Juice even at its worst. Real fresh products and people who care. You can count on solid quality if you avoid any of the versions of drinks intended for the patron looking to eat a liquid candy bar with a health food package.
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
I've always loved visiting Lanikai juice whenever I'm in Kailua. Their açaí bowls and smoothies are all scrumptious. As someone isn't a huge fan of overly sweet things, I've always found their bowls to be a great balance between fruity-sweet and tart, which makes them all the better in my mind. On a busy weekend, it can take some time for your order to be made, so I'd recommend ordering ahead on a busy weekend day. Any day I get to visit Lanikai juice is a good day!
google avatar

Erik A.

Yelp
Had a Java da Hut and it was awesome unfortunately, small shops like this need to staff small so might want to expect a bit longer of a wait
google avatar

Richard A.

Yelp
Great place in the center of town to get acai bowl I got the classic and it was okay, but far from the best one I ever had. It had an artificial taste to the berries. When I started eating these bowls, this place was the best. Now there so many other places that give a better bowl. Parking is also challenging
google avatar

Kadey C.

Yelp
i came here two days in a row and got the lanikai splash, first day it was really good, blended well, nice consistency. on the second day it came out a lot faster but wasn't blended well, i had to blow out the straw multiple times when it got clogged with fruit chunks.
google avatar

Kenny K.

Yelp
Little corner shop across from CPK. Tried the medium size Açaí Extravaganza which came with banana, strawberries, blueberries, coconut chips, and granola. The bowl was decent and flavors were well balanced with sweet and tangy. The joint is tiny so took it to the outside seating area at the end corner near Mexico Lindo taco shop to enjoy.

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Watch them make your smoothie. I ordered a Mango Sunrise. It was supposed to have mango juice and fresh mango. I wasn't watching closely and there were a few people who ordered ahead of us. I watched the older man working in the Kailua shop put ice and mango juice into the blender. He brought the drink out and no one else claimed it, so it was ours. I figured I wasn't watching him close so maybe he did put mango in. After my daughter and I started to drink it, it was very apparent it was the Mango juice from Costco and ice blended, no fresh mango. We were gone by this time so I didn't go back but what a disappointment.
google avatar

Tanya W.

Yelp
I stopped by and ordered the Pitaya Passion smoothie. I loved the super tropical flavors from the fruit and the creaminess of the smoothie. The smoothie is more on the thin, drink-like side than thick and icy. I removed one star due to the mediocre customer service, I hadn't realized my drink had been completed for a while and I was surprised they didn't try calling out the order again to notify their customers. But overall I'd come back here again for a drink.

Brianna S.

Yelp
this was sadly the worst acai bowl we have had. they use canned pinapple and the açaí does not taste fresh. this was such a disappointment.
google avatar

Kaiulani B.

Yelp
Upon entering staff was definitely frazzled and store was dirty. After waiting quite a long time to be helped at register, what I watch unfold is why I'm leaving this review. Person at register went to assist two who were making smoothies, without washing his hands proceeds to stick hands into ice maker and grab ice block, very unsanitary. While waiting I noticed many things, counter tops were very dirty and unkempt, messy, disorganized and many things need to be refilled, including napkins for customers. Floors and counters in waiting area were also very dirty and needed to be wiped. I fully understand being busy or slammed but keeping food areas clean is a top priority for peoples health. Almost didn't even want the smoothies because of how dirty the place was. Will not be going back
google avatar

Cecilia Y.

Yelp
I ordered the Açaí smoothie. It was about $9 and was not that great. Definitely overpriced and did not live up to my expectations.
google avatar

Jasmine L.

Yelp
We were visiting and I really wanted an açaí bowl, well were in the area and I read the reviews about this place so I decided to take a chance, located inside a shopping center. I love pitaya so I got the Pitaya Dream, it was lucky also on a discount so I got 10% off. Unfortunately the açaí bowl did not live up to my expectations of Hawaiian açaí. It was really watery, very tart, I felt like it was a smoothie and on top of that, the mangos were frozen.... I really thought id get fresh mangos in a tropical state but I guess not.
google avatar

Yelp
I pass this place all the time! Sometimes it is SO busy, I'm discouraged to try it. I was craving a smoothing on a day when it was empty, so decided to stop by. The smoothie itself was excellent and the two girls behind the counter were talking to each other about how great the company is and how nice it is to work there. That is always nice to hear! I love supporting companies who are good to their employees. The young man who cashed me out was nice and friendly, but seemed a little nervous. I asked him what "monk fruit" is, since it is an ingredient in one of the smoothies and he had no idea. I feel like the employees should know what's in their smoothies. I wasn't asking to be difficult-I am severely allergic to certain fruits, so I wanted to see if it is related to anything I'm allergic to. They were out of monk fruit anyway, so my smoothie was made without it, so it was moot. That is genuinely the only reason they don't have 5 stars, but I'd love to stop by again for another smoothie.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
Friendliness, welcoming, and courteous staff is equivalent to 1 star to me. Everything is great except the three above, hence the 4 stars. I have been here few times with different guests from the mainland and I have had 4/5 stars experiences. My go to beverage is their infamous Kailua Monkey smoothie, in large of course. It is pretty much a peanut butter and banana smoothie. The blend, the texture, the taste is great as always. I actually prefer this than Jamba juice'. The price is decent. Depending on the time and day, the service is justifiable. My guests and didn't have to wait million years for our orders to be served. The store is located in a strip mall and the parking lot is shared with other establishment, so expect parking can be tough. They have few good selections of stuff; the got the juices, the smoothies, the fruits, and the greens. Very limited indoor seating, but they got plenty of outdoors seating. Next time I come with guests, I hope the staff be more friendly, and share the Aloha Spirit.

Jaime S.

Yelp
this place is absolute trash. I've come a couple times thinking I just hit them on a bad day and I swear every time it's worse. I've gotten the same smoothie and each time it tastes infinitely different. Today I ordered a smoothie and asked for them to use water instead of apple juice base. I watched them pour way too much water and then serve me a straight liquid smoothie. When I stated that it was much more liquid than usual they chose to gaslight me and tell me that apple juice is a "thicker consistency than water." Anyone who wasn't born yesterday knows that a simple juice is literally liquid, the same as water. The people here do not care about customer satisfaction, they just bust out subpar products and do not care at all. They also will dump out half a blender full of fresh fruit smoothie instead of give it to you because you "didn't pay for it."So instead, it's dumped down the trash. Absolutely wasteful. Again, staff here do not think about anything else besides money and pumping out subpar products to weed through customers. Whole foods smoothie bar/coffee right around the corner from most locations is 10x better. Save yourself and just go here.
google avatar

Micah K.

Yelp
This is a great place to visit before you head to the beach on this side of the island! They have a huge selection for açaí bowls and smoothies! Their açaí bowl was amazing and the fruits on top were fresh and refreshing. My cravings were satisfied after eating a large bowl. The portions were also pretty big and I was filled up after eating it . If you want something quick, refreshing, and healthy, this place will likely have something to satisfy your cravings as well!
google avatar

Yelp
What a disaster. The customer service at this location is atrocious. What should've been a quick 10 minute trip to get an acai bowl turned into an hour visit. When we first walked through the door, there was already a line forming because the cashier, Yolanda, was busy chatting with the party of four paying at the cash register. After about 10 minutes, they were finally done and Yolanda was struggling with the next person in line. They must've given a really complex order or the cashier doesn't know how to do her job. I'm thinking the latter because one thing led to another and all of a sudden the cash register broke down. As Yolanda was frantically trying to restart the machine, everyone in line grew disgruntled and I even saw a few patrons walk out. Talk about a really bad look... Luckily, one of the other employees (assuming the manager) opened up a cash register by the pick-up station and started motioning people over there. Heck, even the manager was rolling her eyes at Yolanda, saying she wasn't surprised that she crashed the system! I don't know if this has happened before since it was my first visit but maybe Yolanda has to go...

Yelp
I love grabbing a juice or smoothie in the morning- it really helps start my day off on the right foot. They're conveniently located in Kailua Town and the service is always friendly.
google avatar

Steph G.

Yelp
A really good local juice spot in Kailua and across the island. But you seemed freshly prepared. We pre-ordered online before we arrived which made it a little easier especially during Covid times. I felt it was a little pricey for the portion received but I understand the volume needed to create the juice etc. There was about a half inch of pulp at the bottom of the drink towards the end. I would definitely order again and try something else. Parking right out front.
google avatar

Dawn C.

Yelp
The bowls at Lanikai Juice are so pretty! Lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options. Just avoid the granola which does contain gluten! I tried a pitaya bowl which is another name for dragon fruit. It was bright pink! It was topped with fresh fruit and so yummy. What a great way to start the day!
google avatar

Lori R.

Yelp
My go to when i'm heading over to Lanikai. Their acai bowls are good but can be hit/miss depending on who makes them. Would stick to their smoothies/acai bowls rather than juice
google avatar

Leona S.

Yelp
Clean friendly environment. As soon as I entered the girls acknowledge my presences with a "Hi be right with you. 2 girls were working at the time. I ordered a pineapple power. Took less than a minute to wait. Pineapple power was good and refreshing!.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a review for their takeout service in June 2021. Indoor dining is currently not available. This branch is located in a packed strip mall. We came by around 3PM after the pillbox hike craving for some cool, sweet things. The Acai bowls here hit the spot for sure! Pro tip: definitely get yours with the add on honey--it makes it so much better! I got the da classic, which was the perfect portion size. FYI: We ordered ahead of time through their website, which is probably advised considering they do take about 30-40 minutes to finish.
google avatar

Yelp
These keiki bowls seem to get smaller and smaller but the price is going higher. I always buy for my kids but with the cost now days I should just go to the store and buy ingredients and make at home. It's a bit disappointing. The other keiki bowl I got had 3 slices of banana in it. I love their açaí bowls but not sure if it's worth the cost for the amount you get.
google avatar

Shan S.

Yelp
The sales associate was so personable and fun, which really made the experience great. The drink was a little gritty tasting, likely won't order that one again. But it looked really pretty!

Marilyn T.

Yelp
Asked about Reward Program - signed up AFTER ordering two drinks that cost approx. $21 & change. Should've done it first & trying to navigate whether you can get credit after the fact, with receipt, proved to be dead end frustrating. Berry drink that only comes in small & medium but priced like a large, was disappointing. could only taste sour Berries & it's consistency not enjoyable. Kailua monkey, tasted good however, strong banana so I wouldn't order it again. Straws got mushy Real Fast, so Junk! Both drinks consistency not blended thoroughly enough w/several large & small chunks of ice found within. Maybe worker rushing due to there only being 2 of them & customers coming in so they're trying to keep up. Won't revisit again. Silly reward program w/dead end email contact address for assistance. For the high price; it should be much better. Won't come back.

Yelp
I used to love this place. But yesterday was the 3rd time of getting a product that just wasn't fresh. I ordered the flu fighter fresh juice and it tasted and smelled off. I asked the server if she had made the juice from fresh fruit and she pointed at a bowl of brown mushy pineapple that had fruit gnats all over it. Disgusting. She said it was previously frozen and then just stared at me. The last time I was there was similar in that the juice tasted off but instead of gnats it was a bunch of flies in the case that had the fresh fruit. The quality has gone way down but the prices have gone way up. I paid $21 for 2 drinks that I didn't even drink. After tasting it, I left the juice on the counter and walked out. Customer service here sucks!!! I'll never go back. And to add insult, my stomach has been upset since I took those 2 sips out of the juice. My coworker also told me that she has been throwing up since she drank her smoothie from here. I plan on calling the health department on Monday.
google avatar

Michelle J.

Yelp
The smoothie was excellent and the service was quick. In terms of the friendliness of the staff, I would say 3/5 so I may have caught them on a good day from the sound of the earlier reviews. I plan to return when I am in the area to try some of the other specialty smoothies. Parking kind of sucks in the adjacent lot though you should be able to find something after circling a few times.

Yelp
Since Lanikai Juice has been in business, I have never tried their smoothies or acai bowls. To think I have been to Haleiwa many times and there is a Lanikai Juice location, but never went inside. Well that changed as of this past weekend, when my bf and I venture off to the Kailua store due to my craving for acai bowl after a 3 hour zipline tour in Kahuku. Not sure what made me crave acai bowl, but I just wanted something sweet and healthy to snack on. According to my bf, they renovated the store. Plenty of high top chairs and some tables inside and outside of the store. The tables and countertops are made from monkeypod trees ( observation from my bf). The staff were welcoming and patient while we decide on what to order. I picked the acai extravanganza for about $9.50 for medium bowl. My bf ordered the da classic bowl for his mom. Overall, the taste of the acai mixture was both refreshing and sweet. They use fresh fruits and their granola is not too crunchy. The presentation of the bowl makes your tongue and mouth water up. The price is quite high for a medium bowl in my opinion. It could be they are competing with other acai and smoothie shops in the island and the rent could be high. For my first try, it was delicious.

Yelp
It was my first time trying out this lanikai juice so my friend order the match energy and mines is the antioxidant cocoa.so at first I was wondering why she have the large cup.so okie.then I try hers one and I like it so I came back and buy the same thing she have.then they give me a small cup.so I come back inside to ask why my friend have a large cup and I have the small cup and they told me because she have extra so they just give it to her.i mean where is the consistency??? I was upset.and I give them tip.‍‍‍.then they told me that they will transfer my friends cup to a smaller cup I mean hello covid people u cant just transfer it eventhough u touch it and drink it already ohhh mayy!!!

Yelp
Absolutely disappointed in their lack of customer service. I've come 3x this last week and today a female by the name of Deanna forgot to put honey(she later put it on top and apologized). We went inside and just asked for honey to be put on top. The other female named Jordan***, decided to mock me by laughing and say its already half eaten. My sisters açaí bowl had the top still remaining which didn't show any honey. The last time we arrived here, another female employee decided to offer a disgusting attitude and this is absolutely clear. These are not assets to your company, & will absolutely drive your customers away. We will not be returning here again & will instead go across the way to Banan.
