Lanson Place Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

This is my second year staying at Lanson Place during my annual visit to Hong Kong, and once again it truly felt like a home away from home. The property has a distinctive design, an intimate atmosphere, and a personalized touch that made both me and my family feel welcomed and cared for throughout our extended stay. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to buses, trains, and the MTR—making it effortless to reach local attractions and get around the city. As a long‑term‑stay guest, convenience is very important to me, and Lanson Place truly excels in this. I would also like to recognize all the frontline staffs. They are the first impression of this Small Luxury Hotel, and they consistently demonstrate professionalism, warmth, friendliness, understanding, flexibility, and genuine care. They add an extra touch of comfort to every single day. The room décor is beautifully done with soft colors, elegant textures, and warm, cozy lighting. I appreciated the well‑equipped gym, the wonderful breakfast and service at Salon Lanson, and of course my in‑room Nespresso machine—my daily lifesaver! A special thank‑you to the housekeeping team, who kept my unit clean and fresh every day, making it such a pleasure to return after long days out. I highly recommend Lanson Place for your next visit to Hong Kong. If you are looking for a luxury boutique‑style hotel that offers comfort, thoughtful design, and truly personalized hospitality, this is the place to stay.

Stayed at Lanson Place Causeway Bay during our recent visit to Hong Kong, and we were thoroughly impressed with the property. The interior design is stunning, with beautiful colours and textures complemented by warm, cosy lighting that creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff and concierge were consistently polite and responsive. Every time we walked past them, we were warmly greeted, which truly made us feel welcome and at home. The rooms are generously sized, thoughtfully laid out, and impeccably clean. Housekeeping standards were excellent throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the ability to independently control the air-conditioning in the room, allowing us to tailor the temperature to our comfort. The location is also ideal—just a short walk from the main shopping belt in Causeway Bay, while still allowing easy access for ride-hailing services such as Uber without significant traffic delays. Overall, this is a highly recommended property, and we would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

We had an excellent stay at Lanson Place. From check in to check out, the staff was so helpful and welcoming (especially Annie at the hotel restaurant!). A few days before check in they emailed to ask for guest info and if we needed a hotel transfer. Upon arrival (after a 14 hr flight), we were seated on a nice big couch and offered herbal tea while the staff processed the check in. When we went to our room our luggage was already there. When my child woke up hungry at 1 am, the reception staff walked us to a near by restaurant that was still open. Very conveniently located in a quiet corner of one of the busiest districts in HK, a stone's throw from MTR station and many bus stops. Lots of good restaurants around as well. The sound proofing is excellent so we had great sleeps. Oh did I mention there are free self service laundry facilities and free afternoon sparkling wine? I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family who travel to HK often. We will also be back! Ps we switched to a different hotel for the second half of our trip to change things up and immediately regretted it and wish we could go back to Lanson Place lol

What a well run, well done, hospitable and checks every boutique hotel fanatics list.||I booked this on a whim while trying to figure out a last minute intinerary for HK and I'm sad that I didn't book this for all three days of my trip, infact I tried to cancel the other hotel and add days to this but unfortunately the other hotel had lapsed it's refundable period.||Where do I begin, it's impeccably clean, im-peccably clean and that's a #1 issue I have for hotels so this one passes 10/10, it's beautifully designed, the room I got was very spacious considering HK judging from comments I've heard for HK, I stayed in the superior room and it was more than enough for a single person, and would be perfect for two. Tasteful designs, smeg coffee maker, complimentary wine, top notch sleep accessories, auto blinds and lights, bed was the right soft / hard, the sheets were luxury grade, I slept well! ||The concierge services were also top notch, every single person was so hospitable - you can tell they know how to provide luxury service. I'm a little surprised at their affordability but over all - don't recall names but every singe one, from the managers, to front desk, to the housing/cleaning department, it was pleasant all around. ||The breakfast was ok, if you're used to continental style, this will be a little different. Must say, I tried congee for the first time and it wasn't bad. There is a zen styled gym, and bonus - free laundry service, washer and dryer with all you need for those of us long hauling travelers. ||The location is very central and close to high end and high street shopping. ||The hotel is a member of the small luxury hotels of the world branded hotels and they didn't miss a bit with that. Really sad that I didn't book more days here. If I'm back in HK this will definitely get my sight. I wish they'd do more marketing because I found them last minute and for some reason the hotel didn't come up on my search, I found the hotel while looking at a Google map hence my hesitancy to book multiple days.||Book now trust me.

One of my favorite stays. They deserve more recognition! I’ve stayed at many hotels, from boutique to high-end branches. I frequent Hong Kong and I will definitely always choose my stay here now! My husband and I travelled with our one year old baby to celebrate both their birthday as well as our anniversary, they made sure to make us feel extra special. The service was truly top notch, fast and very personable! Great attention to detail. The free laundry room was so helpful for our travelling family. The location was fantastic and central to get you to everywhere in Hong Kong easy and quickly. But regardless the hotel takes care of you and make sure your travel is as easy and smooth as possible, they take their time to go out of their way to make things happen. The aesthetic of the hotel as well, gorgeous. Rooms were beautiful and clean. This hotel was truly perfect all around for us. I have now recommended it to my friends and family who visits Hong Kong!

I had the Studio Residence room. Interior design and architectural structure are mid. But electronic blackout curtains are nice. Kitchenette is nice too, but a bit too small. Service is exceptional, especially checkin, I checked in while sitting in the resting area, and a staff delivered welcome fruit to the room later and welcomed me to their Christmas activity. View is good. Location is good. Not far from Causeway Bay Station.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was good. The hotel is in a good location but... My sister and I booked the Twin Guest Room with two single beds. The beds were very narrow unlike in most hotel rooms that we have stayed in. We could not turn our body without almost falling of the bed and we are considered small sized. The bed width is the same width size as the pillow width. The size of the room also seemed smaller than the 35m² as stated. I would like to think this is a boutique hotel more than a 5-star hotel as it is quite small with limited facilities. The room's bathroom/toilet doesn't even have a bidet spray. This hotel also requires a pre-authorization of HKD4,000 (4 nights stay) even though we paid in full upon check-in, which we we're fine with that, but upon checking out, the male staff said he could not cancel the pre-authorization on the spot and so could not produce a credit card cancellation chit and that we had to wait for 14 days or more. I have stayed at many hotels before and all were able to cancel the pre-authorization on the spot they could give me a receipt of the pre-authorization cancellation. We had checked out on the 21st of November and it still shows the pending transaction on my credit card (I have called my bank and they have confirmed that the merchant still holding the amount. I have sent a message to the hotel and are still waiting a reply from them). I also had to ask for a full payment invoice/receipt from the staff on two separate occasions during our stay before we were given one. We will be not coming back to stay here as the cons are more than the pros and there are many hotels in the area as well.

Lovely hotel. The finishes and decor exude class. Really clean. Attentive staff. Everyone from the front desk to the door crew to housekeeping were so kind and helpful. Everyone I came across would say hello and make sure I had everything I was looking for. Quiet but convenient location. Located in Causeway Bay but outside the bustle, so it’s a nice reprieve after a day exploring. So easy to access public transportation or taxi. I hosted a local friend in the salon, and she was impressed and surprised she didn’t know about the hotel before. Also, the bonus is the laundry room. So clutch. Wish every hotel had this amenity. Will be back for our next HK visit.

This Hilton property was very nice. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was very functional. The location was very convenient and close to the subway station. The breakfast buffet was very good, as the food was excellent. The price was low compared to American and European hotels.

Wow what a great stay. From check in to check out the experience was fantastic. The welcome tea that was served was memorable too while I waited for my passport and keys to the room. Every employee was helpful and the hotel truly deserves a 5 star. We were upgraded luckily and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The gym facilities were also in new condition. Everything you can think of they provided. The breakfast buffet and dish selections were plentiful. I love that I could get wonton noodle soup or choice of eggs too. If I'm ever back in Hong Kong I will be staying at Lanson Place.

3 stars because I had such horrible customer service PRIOR to arriving. I booked the hotel through Chase Ultimate Rewards, which is essentially CASH, but they said I went through a travel agency so they weren't as accommodating. I had some scheduling conflict and tried to reschedule/get a refund for a later date, but the hotel WOULD NOT budge. It was really annoying and inconvenient. I wanted to tack on an extra day since I was already staying four nights, but they were going to charge me an additional $300 which was also really annoying. I ended up having to stay at another hotel for the night because it was too expensive. The overall experience when you get to the hotel is great though. They are very nice, the hotel is high end, and the rooms are extremely spacious. If you don't care about accommodation prior to a visit then I'd recommend, but pray that your plans won't need adjustment because they are the worse when it comes to that. I had to jump through so many hurdles just to speak with someone.

My extended family live in HK and I have been back to visit often. This is the first time I've stayed at Lanson Place but I will definitely stay again. The location is great, close to everything but away from the bustle. It is right across the road from the Michelin Star dumpling restaurant Din Tai Fung. Such a treat! The staff are polite and friendly, noting is too much trouble. Even my family who came to have a look around commented on how unusual it was that the staff were so nice. My room was spacious and nicely decorated. Love the kitchenette, it's nice to have the option of a quite coffee and cereal for breakfast before heading out for the day. Thank you for giving me sanctuary.

What a wonderful boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the city. Rooms have beautiful new bathrooms, kitchenettes, luxurious amenities. Definitely exquisite.

Love this place! This was recommended to me by my dad, I usually stay in the Tsim Sha Tsui side but decided to try Causeway Bay. 1. Location- this hotel has an excellent location, everything is walking distance. I love that there are so many good and reasonably priced restaurants in the area. Sogo, Times Square etc are a few malls that are within walking distance 2. Room- the room was Very clean, spacious and has a beautiful layout. They give you a complimentary basket of goodies as well. I love the fact that it has a kitchenette. 3. The staff are very friendly, you can always leave the things you buy with them for keeping and they even lend you umbrellas. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a business trip. The staff were great - all professional and helpful esp the folks on the ground floor who helped w/ hailing taxis. It can be difficult in the morning! The location is great if you're looking to hit up places within CWB. For example, Din Tai Fung and many dessert spots are a hop and a skip away. The rooms come with a kitchenette which was nice for eating in after a long day. They also give a smartphone for local purposes that lets you make calls and access basic wifi. The price was also good.

It's not the biggest and most luxurious hotel in Hong Kong I'm sure, but wow an experience. The minute the bellhop seen me come, he came outside to help me, from across the street. He took my bags and walked me to the elevator and let me know that the front desk was on the second floor. He push the button and the door closed and I was on my way to check in. The doors opened and there was the front desk, right in front of on me. I sad down in-front of the receptionist and she check me in to the hotel. The ground floor and lobby are very clean, updated and well staffed. The service is 5 star service all the way. My room was on the 11th floor, 4 elevators, no wait. The room was good size, for HK, clean and updated. The first thingI noticed was a Travel Buddy phone, it's a feee phone to use during your stay. A cell phone, you can take with you through the city and it's free. Free phone calls, local or international, never seen that before.
