This resort is a hidden gem with a private beach front.
Very good with fair price. We stayed 6 nights: from Nov 19 to 25
Located on a jungle like garden on the beach.
You wake up with the waves sound from the beach. The birds. And that's it. The calm is great here. We even saw a monkey !
There are about 8 very affectionate cats from the property. Beware of the hugs jajaja.
Plenty of hermit crabs at noon and dusk. Sand crabs on the beach. Geckos
They maintain chairs, tables, and sun loungers on the front beach. great to have some drinks talking, with the beach and the jungle as witnesses.
The bungalows. about 15. Are tidy and well maintained. Ours appeared to be renewed 1 year ago maximun. The resort seems to be about 30 years old or more. But clearly, everything is maintained or renewed on some scheduled basis. I saw one of the bungalows being completely renewed .
The windows are all new, at least all that I saw. And seals very well.
Toilets work well. But I missed the usual hose to clean my arse that you usually find in thailand's toilets.
The mattress is too hard to my taste, but out of the 9 hotels I've stayed this month in thailand. Only 2 had soft mattress. Seems to be the usage in thailnd hotels to use hard mattress
Never any bug, crab, gecko, entered our bungalow. but only the one cat that I allowed too 😅🤷.
The staff is good nice and professional. Onbour first night after notixing the air-con was not cooling. They sent a repaired upon 5 min. And after fixing it. They changed us from our unitial bungalow to another in case the fix weren't successful.
They have 2 acuariums that are worth to spend time looking at.
The swimming pool is good too.
Also the hotel has a lot of staff for cleaning and repairs. Every day, gardeners take care of the jungle garden. And 4 ladies clean the bungalows
There is a small market store and a yoga and ice tank therapy center on the hotel
The resort shares the front beach with a good restaurant. Nice staff. Nice food. But prices are on the medium range of what you can find.
They have fire juggler shows and good live music every saturday wednesday.not the usual same westerner hits played on repeat that you ear on many places in thailand 😅.
The only bad point for me was the reception contacting my GF over WhatsApp at 11h07 reminding us that Check out is at 11h.
I spect any hotel to allow me at least 30 min when checking out. I don't care about the fact that they used WhatsApp. We gave them our number . But sending a reminder to clear out a room just 7 min after the limit is a lack of tolerance from a service dedicated place. Never on my 41 years, a hotel went to me when I've checked out some minutes after the checkout time.
