This charming Bed and Breakfast is our favorite place to stay in Rockport. We came on New Year’s Eve for “First Night 2024”. |The rooms are individually decorated, the beds are comfortable and the location is perfect for walking all around downtown Rockport. We will definitely come again.

My husband and I stayed at this historic house while on a recent trip to explore Rockport. We loved its historic background and charm. Our room was on the second floor and steps are steep but innkeeper told us this when we booked. Room 3 has charming decor and I loved the bright, pink bathroom. There is parking in the back and best of all, you can walk to downtown! There's even a bench halfway, in front of the library, to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. If you're looking for quiet, relaxing evenings..this is the place for you. Enjoy the house and the town.

One of the best places I've ever stayed at! Richard and Tracy are so kind and accommodating. The house itself is gorgeous, well kept, and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Purple Room and it was perfect; cute little bathroom, a/c, and comfy bed. It was quiet and charming. We enjoyed our coffee and complimentary breakfast in the morning, then were able to walk to everything Rockport has to offer. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Richard and Tracy!

Everything here is immaculate. The owners are fastidious. Our room, which we have booked 3 times, is spacious and comfortable. The ample breakfast includes many choices. The front porch is nicely furnished and the new guest TV lounge offers even more space for relaxation.

Just spent two lovely nights at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The owners are wonderful hosts, and the room that I had was extremely comfortable for one person. My own bathroom added to the homey feeling, and right down the street from the water was perfect. Rockport is a beautiful little town, with lots of amenities and a welcoming spirit for its guests. And the hosts at Lantana House just added to its charm.

My family has had great experiences here in the past, however, I booked our most recent trip and unfortunately we had to change our plans. When calling to cancel the gentleman who answered was extremely rude. If you are looking for good customer service, this is NOT the place.

The location of Lantana House is truly excellent. The town center and Bearskin Neck with shops and restaurants are a short walk away. It was quiet at night for sleeping. The front porch has plenty of seating. If you like firm beds, you'll be fine. Pillows were too firm! Continental breakfast is adequate - plenty of choices. Two lovely, sweet dogs keep the owner company in the office. Didn't get a warm, fuzzy feeling from the hosts, although they were pleasant.

Lovely hosts, comfortable room, perfect location! The house is within walking distance of everything in town. Our room was immaculately clean, very cozy, and comfortable. Breakfast was generous - a nice selection of home-baked goods, granola, eggs and fruit. We look forward to returning. footwearreturning

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night in September 2020. Quaint, clean, and a little like a stay at grandma's house. The two innkeepers and their dogs were super friendly. The room was clean although the décor a bit dated. We were happy that we actually received a real breakfast! During our stay, the innkeeper had been baking and wonderful aromas filled the entire inn. This scent made the inn feel homey and cozy. Included on site parking was another huge positive. We did not need the car during our stay in Rockport. Everything was in walking distance of the Lantana House.

Yelp
This was our second time my husband and I stayed at the Lantana House. This B&B is charming..right in the downtown area of Rockport where you can walk to all the sites..shops & restaurants. We loved our room #3 with exposed wood beams in the ceiling and a very comfortable bed. The weather was cool that allowed us to keep our windows open so we could hear the church bell as it chimes hourly. We love Rockport and the Lantana House and would definitely stay again!! Thanks to Rich for his wonderful hospitality!! Didn't have an opportunity to meet his wife Tracy ..maybe next time .

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at Lantana House in Rockport, Massachusetts. This B&B is located very close to the Town center and Bearskin Neck section of Rockport which has plenty of shops and restaurants. We literally walked over for dinner and shopping. Our room was located on the first floor next to the dining area. As a result of Covid-19 we had to where masks as we walked in and out of the place but it was fine and to be honest we felt very safe because the other guests did so as well. The owners provided breakfast and they served us with all of the care necessary during this days. Breakfast was a great start with fresh and delicious breakfast options. The two days I was there I had yogurt with granola and fresh fruits. The fruit options was kiwi, peaches, pineapple, strawberries and mangoes. We also had bagels, English muffins and hard boiled eggs. The B&B was very clean and the owners were very hospitable. After a long day of sightseeing we decided to relax on the front porch which was really cute. We sat and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with some snacks. Our room was small but it provided all the necessary things for our stay-full sized bed, small bathroom which was fine. The only drawback was we had a tiny TV but it was fine since we really only needed it to sleep and shower. The owner was really nice, we spoke about going out for a pizza and he actually offered to pick it up because he was going to the same place. We felt really safe and by the way they had parking which you will realize is quite the commodity in Rockport. Ultimately we enjoyed the B&B and will absolutely go back if we visit Rockport again.

Yelp
So the owner is OCD, Anal retentive and kind of an asshole. He kept asking intrusive and very personal questions. But he can be really nice sometimes. Definitely did not enjoy my stay. Was tiptoeing around trying to not break any of the multitude of exacting rules. Was scolded for sitting on a chair on the deck because it had a cover on it. And for using a dish from the dining area. And for God's sake always remember to replace the thing that supposedly stops drafts at the bottom of the door if you come in from the deck! The room and house are very nice, and unsurprisingly well-maintained.

Yelp
Had planned to meet some friends from the U.K. at Rockport this summer, but recent events prevented our British friends from visiting this year. Tracy and Richard of Lantana House graciously allowed us to cancel our stay, and promptly refunded my credit card. Hopefully when this stuff blows over, we shall definitely stay at Lantana House when we visit Rockport next year! ...Clarke

Yelp
We just got done with our third year of travel to idyllic Rockport, MA and our third year of staying at the Lantana House. What a superb Bed and Breakfast. Richard and Tracey are outstanding host and hostess. And Richard prepares the best breakfast you can imagine. He should market his granola and Freckle Cake. Our room was immaculate and perfect for our stay; and the Lantana House is within easy walking distance of the main area of Rockport. We are anxious to return - and to stay longer!

Yelp
Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was a very nice bed and breakfast. The place was beautiful and the owners were friendly. I stayed at one of the king rooms and my friend stayed at the queen room, and I did think that his room was better. The service was also very good. Breakfast is only served for an hour and half and to my surprise it wasn't just coffee and stale doughnuts. Not only did they have goodcoffee and orange juice, they had english muffins and homemade raspeberry/cinnamon cake which was excellent. The jam was also homemade. The sitting area for breakfast was very cozy.

Yelp
We stayed here this fall. The location is perfect You can walk to the shops and galleries, and to Bearskin neck and the performance center. The house is very antique with a nice collection of antiques decorating the rooms and common areas. We had a comfortable bed, small but quaint bathroom, two nice chairs to watch tv or read and a dresser. There was a clock and plenty of lamps. No hairdryer, be forewarned. Breakfast was charming with wonderful mixed plates and cups etc. There were coffee cake and cinnamon rolls, cereals, toast, bagels and english muffins. The coffee was good and both milk and cream were available. Butter and jams for the toasts. And a plate of cheese and fruit. There are two porches for relaxing. The on site parking alone is worth the price in Rockport.

Yelp
Fantastic B&B! The location is great, rooms are beautiful and the owners are very friendly and accommodating people. Been coming here for the past 15 years almost every year and still a joy each time!
