This was by far one of my worst food/restaurant experiences. Don’t get me wrong, the food was great (I ordered the Margherita and Top 50 Roman Pizza), but their service was absolutely horrible and horrendous. I can’t stress how disappointing the service was. It took me maybe around 7 times to get the attention of the waiter. The waiter rushed me for my order and ended up making a mistake with my order. Frankly, I think they shoulder my expense for the pizza and give me the pizza I actually ordered. When I asked for a glass with ice for my cola, the waiter rudely responded with “what??” and proceeded to bury my request. The waitstaff was incredibly aloof, and I can’t tell if it’s intentional or just their natural demeanor. It puts me at fight or flight mode whenever I interact with them. I don’t usually write reviews, but it is just right to inform you readers/food connoisseurs how pathetic the service of this restaurant is. That said, the food was something I couldn’t complain about. It was good, maybe even great. The pizzas really showcased what a Neapolitan-style pizza should be. I’m not sure if this kind of service is typical for all Da Michele branches, but this particular one in Rome needs a complete overhaul of its management, staff, and training. Total disaster.

I couldn't go to this restaurant in Napoli while i live in that amazing City. In Rome i tried it. And its very delicious and very traditional. For me Pizza is Napolitan one. I love Napolitan taste a lot. It remind me how i feel in Napoli. Thank you all for that amazing pizza. I suggets everybody to try Napolitan pizza.

Totally exaggerated. I went there according to my friend’s recommendation and ordered napoletana pizza. Nothing special. The dough was flumsy and the toppings were extremely salty. Store’s name insists you will be eating in an old fashioned setting but what i found was regular modern pizza store. You will find a better pizza anywhere in Rome, so no need to travel.

This place is phenomenal! We had the best meal of our whole stay in Rome while we were here. Per suggestion by our waiter, we ordered the pizza napolitana and the don Luigi appetizer. Both were absolutely delicious. The tomato sauce on the pizza honestly blew my mind (I didn’t know sauce on a pizza could do that!). 20/10 recommend this place for anyone in the area and wanting amazing pizza!

This place was recommended by our host and found it to be one of the Top Pizza places in Rome. Ingredients were good, but the dough was chewy. I like it a bit crispy. They don't do any substitution or additions to their set menu. Not a lot of options for meat-lovers. Our server was a bit rude... clearly can see us looking at the English version menu on our phone, but kept asking if we were ready literally 3 times, 2 minutes apart.

Nice, cosy place, with great staff and service and even better pizza! Pizza looks big, but it’s easy to beat it! Location is great, near Piazza del Popolo, but you have to go into the museum and then into the restaurant.

Delightful experience all in all. Not the easiest place to find(google maps says you are here, but you can't see it, there's a museum in there). There is a small label on the wall that says in there is really Pizzeria da Michele. When you finally get in, the charm is evident. Interior is trully inviting:D Atmosphere is phenomenal, light music plays in background, the staff are absolutely passionate to deliver great dining experience. Would recommend to anyone! Btw, we ate Margharita and Diavola, and they were absolutely simple and brutal(in a good way of course). Thin crust, with minimal ingrediends on top. Yummy AF!

Although I am giving it 5 stars, it wasn't wow. I expected 2 eat the best pizza, by a milion light years away. And I got a good pizza. Not a no1, top 3, top 5. And I am not a pizza foodie, I am from Romania and I haven't been to the most amazing pizzerias in the world. One word: overrated. I enjoyed the atmosphere,
