What an amazing place! Staff are incredible - friendly and informative. Traditional decor and handicrafts are so beautiful. Rooftop pool and bar are paradise. The congee for breakfast was delicious. Can’t wait to stay again.

The most perfect stay. Great hotel in an ideal location with friendly staff. Having a rooftop pool and a sauna was ideal after a long day of exploring. Food and drink in the restaurant were also good.

Such a lovely hotel. Large room and bathroom. Very clean. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful even though there wasn't always a lot of English. The pool at night was a lovely sight. Food and drink in the bar was of good quality and reasonable. Night market and river were a short walk away.

Good hotel with nice and friendly staff, large rooms and nice swimming pool at the roof terrace. Breakfast is a la carte and you can choose whatever you want. Location is perfect as you just walk to all the restaurants.

Lao Poet Hotel exceeded my expectations. The location could not be better. The aesthetics mixes colonial, modern, and lao elements to create upscale - while the price remains reasonable. The service at the receptiont & breakfast are top notch. Highly recommend.

The hotel is well located, in a quiet area a short walk from the river. There are many cafes and restaurants in surrounding streets.||The accommodations are not as luxurious as the photographs suggest, as the floors are just polished concrete. However my room was comfortable and the bathroom was adequately provisioned. The restaurant was good but not exceptional.||There is a pleasant rooftop pool with good views over the city, which unlike most capitals in the region is still low-rise and laid back.||Lao Poet is a good hotel but I thought it over priced for what it offers.

Nice hotel close to all of the major attractions with good food options nearby. Room was good sized with all of the usual amenities. Floors are polished concrete which gives an industrial look but is much more practical than carpet. Roof top infinity pool was beautiful with awesome views of the city.|Staff were wonderful, friendly and did everything to help out.

This charming hotel is perfectly located in the very center of the city. Everything exceeded our expectations — the room was stylish and comfortable, the food and drinks were excellent, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!
