Lapa 82 Boutique Bed & Breakfast

The staff was excellent. The manager Carolina helped us return to the property once we checked out to visit Porto but we had to return because of the Portugal and Spain power outage. Carolina helped us tremendously by letting us return to the hotel after our check out day. We also decided to return 3 weeks later and on short notice, she again accommodated us! The owner was great by approving this accomodation in short notice. Rooms are spacious and modern. Reasonable price for rooms. Comfortable bed and decent location to main attractions!❤️😘

We were disappointed with our stay here. On the positive side, the room was nice and clean and the place is located in walkable distance to restaurants, cafés, supermarkets etc. The staff are also friendly and responsive. The negatives: - When we asked about the breakfast service, we were told that it's not operational. We found this very misleading as the name of the place is Lapa 82 Boutique Bed & Breakfast, which makes it seem as though breakfast is an integral part of the service they provide. - One afternoon, we came back to have a rest before going out again, and someone entered our room unannounced while we were in bed. This was very alarming and unprofessional. It was not housekeeping, as the information in the room clearly said that we should request our room to be cleaned, which we did not. There was also no "do not disturb" sign provided, which we could have put on the door. - On our last night, we arrived back to no electricity. The power was out until the next morning, when they did arrive early to fix the issue. However, this left us without hot water to shower before we checked out. We understand that sometimes things happen that are out of their control. However, there were too many instances that let us down and led us to leave this review. If it was just one inconvenience, we could have forgiven it, but unfortunately, overall, we regretted our stay here.

Booked because of good ratings and we we're not disappointed. Late check in was simple with an emailed key code entry and our room key left on reception table. Great staff were friendly and very helpful in planning a days sightseeing. (Thanks!) Lovely room and a good choice of a simple breakfast. Tram and Bus stop outside- we picked up 72 hour Lisbon cards in the airport which gives you public transport and entry to some museums.

This place is great! I had a wonderful stay there and it made the visit to Lisbon more romantic. Nicely decorated rooms & very customer oriented staff, Lapa 82 is totally worth the money. I enjoyed having that delicious breakfast outside, on the sunny terrace, every morning. Many thanks to Sofia - she goes the extra mile to see people happy.

Stayed here for 1 night. Arrived late but a lovely girl was there to check us in. The emails before we got to the hotel were informative. This is in a good location for the far side of Lisbon, I was getting the train to Cascais the next day. Lovely room, great bed and pillows. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, we sat on a outside table, lovely and peaceful.

The staff at this boutique hotel was tremendous, particularly Marianna. Very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very good. The breakfast was simple and quaint. And the outside sitting area was a nice place to enjoy a bottle of wine with friends after a day of walking in Lisbon. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in Lisbon.

Me and my husband stayed at Lapa for 4 nights in December 2019 and were very happy with our experience. Staff was kind and helpful, breakfast was amazing and the place is very comfortable! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Lisbon- it is a bit far (20 mins walking from the main area) but there is a very convenient tram stop just in front to remedy that!||||PS- Loved the Honesty Bars for drinks and snacks:)

We stayed at Lapa 82 for 2 nights. We were welcomed at the door and although our room wasn’t ready they offered us a drink and said we could stay in the lounge area whilst we waited for our room. It didn’t take long for them to finish our room though. It was a lovely big en suite room and although it was on the ground floor and we could here the noise of the traffic and tram during the day and evening, during the night it was quiet. We were shown places to visit, places to eat and given a map to help us find places of interest. Breakfast was continental but that was fine. Tram 25 goes pass the door for easy access to the city. It’s not too far to walk to the centre either. The only thing that would of been nice was to have tea and coffee facilities in the room instead of having to pay for tea from the honesty bar. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and found everyone friendly.

This totally exceeded my expectations. Staff was super nice and caring. They provided a free upgrade to a room with a balcony! The breakfast in the courtyard every morning was super peaceful and delicious. The freshly hand squeezed orange juice and singing birds were delightful. You are close but, but not too close to busy areas. We walked around in the evening and had a great time and were safe. We are going back to Lisbon and we are rebooking.
