This modern hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, though I took a taxi and paid €25 to get there. I traveled from Helsinki on the Intercity Direct train, which was a comfortable journey with few stops. The trip from Helsinki to Tampere takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes, making it quite convenient to visit multiple cities while staying in Helsinki.||The hotel has a stylish reception area and a welcoming restaurant/bar section. Unfortunately, I arrived late in the evening and didn’t get a chance to enjoy the facilities, but I’d recommend setting aside time to do so.||The room was a comfortable size with good lighting, best suited for leisure stays. However, as a business traveler, I found it lacking a proper desk—only a small coffee table was provided. In the future, I would check this detail before booking.||The bed had a futon-like texture, and the pillows were neither goose feather or Tempur. (I may have too high expectations because I often stay at 5 star hotels because of the beds and pillows). While the service was good and the overall atmosphere was excellent, I feel the quality of the bed, pillows, and duvet could be improved. Some other four-star hotels in a similar price range offer better bedding. That said, I enjoyed my stay and may return in the future.

We stayed overnight in Tampere after a long cycling trip to unwind. Lapland hotels are often my choice for a staycation / mini vacation in Finland, as they aim for high quality and good customer experience. This time was no exception.||We asked for a silent room and got a nice room on the 7th floor, with a sauna (as booked). As it turned out, this room type (Northern deluxe sauna) is also a family room with a connecting door option (obviously otherwise locked) to the next room, and that connecting door is not sound proof. After listening to some long phone calls from next door, I decided to ask the receptionist if there was anything they could do. They were happy to help and we got a silent room on the same floor, no sounds whatsoever (the Northern deluxe room type, if you were wondering, so no sauna, but there are hotel saunas on the 8th floor for everyone to use).||The hotel restaurant was excellent for dinner (we took it to the room for a tv dinner). And the breakfast was perfect, containing everything we wanted with great execution.||By the way, the iPhone screen mirroring worked with the room’s flat screen tv with no hassle whatsoever, something I’ve learned to appreciate as it seems to be impossible for some hotels to get working (however, this will not work in all the rooms apparently, so confirm before, or book a deluxe room, if this is important for you, too).||All in all this could have been a stressful visit (because of the noise) if not for the great service. Now we’re sure to book again and warmly recommend Lapland hotels Tampere for everyone.

I expected something special, but it wasn't.|Except some reindeer things in the lobby.|We hade a room on the 7th floor. The view was to the opposite house, voices came from the next door, no minifridge- nothing special at the room.|Short walk to Nokia Areena.

Lapland Hotel Tampere is easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. From the moment you walk in, it feels super cozy and welcoming, with a nice Nordic vibe. The rooms are amazing: spacious, stylish & really comfortable. The bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up in the morning, and the bathtub was a dream for relaxing after a long day. They’ve really thought about the little details that make a stay special. The breakfast? Unreal. Honestly, the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. There’s so much to choose from and everything is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I found myself going back for seconds (thirds, even), just to try a bit of everything. It’s worth staying here just for the breakfast alone. The restaurant downstairs is also great. The food is top-notch, with some unique Nordic dishes, though it is a bit pricey. Still, the quality makes it worth it if you’re up for treating yourself. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. Overall, I absolutely loved my time here. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing stay with great food and amazing vibes, Lapland Hotel Tampere is the place to go!

Located in a walking distance from the train station in the bus station, this little gem of hotel is located in walking distance from every place in the lovely city of Tampere. The stuff is exceptionally professional and welcoming and each and every person who works in this hotel is committed for a successful stay. They are knowledgeable and professional and very very helpful. The rooms themselves are wonderfully themed to the Lapland lifestyle. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, clean and superbly furnished. The award-winning breakfast is every bit of award-winning breakfast... The food is authentic and wonderful the presentation of everything is beyond professional and again the staff is so kind and so helpful making sure that you will have a wonderful start of your day. We chose to have dinner at the wonderful established in this was a fine dining experience beyond our expectation.. the chef who runs the kitchen is a master of his profession or hers profession, the staff of waitresses are so professional and so attuned and understanding to the needs of the dining which makes the experience such a wonderful and complete experience that we had to return for a second night which did not fail this at all on the contrary it was even better. there is a parking lot beneath the hotel should you come with a car. This is a very recommended hotel !

Clean and stylish place, room was nice and quite big, love the lapland theme. Breakfast is amazing, very good quality ingridients. Also the service at breakfast was friendly.||Bad things were the service at reception which was not very friendly and small bathtub in your room. Also the parking garage was terrible, parking spaces were very narrow.

Yelp
Had very nice experience in this hotel. Loved the Lapland theme all over the hotel. Pros: -friendly, helpful staff -evening sauna had nice touch with the cranberry and thyme flavored water, also the panoramic view from the sauna was great -the breakfast was amazing, such a large selection of fresh items to choose from, especially loved the scrambled eggs, oat porridge, bread and lingonberry juice -loved the pine smelling toiletries -close location to city center and train station Cons: -room was quite small -no body lotion in toiletries -room was clean but found few long hairs in the bathroom so housekeeping could have payed more attention to the detail
