We had lunch here in Sept 2022. I’m mostly writing a review on behalf of my husband who ordered Pizza Caprese. I’m his words, “I have never had a pizza like this. This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I cannot get that pizza out of my head. I would go back to Capris just for that Pizza.” Being used to seeing below average tourist spots in New York City, we were biased that this restaurant would have mediocre overprice tourist food. To our surprise, the food was amazing. I had risotto which was fantastic but the Pizza Caprese was the winner: fresh dough, mozzarella, and tomato. Simple Beauty.

Google
Fantastic Pizza and as a Starter Buffalo Mozzarella, tomato and Parma ham. On this super expensive island a light at the end of the tunnel. Worth to try! Overall outstanding service and very friendly waiter Michael!

Came with my wife for our honeymoon, I had Paolo as my waiter and could not have had a better experience. We are tourists, and he knew we did not know what to get. He made recommendations, and was absolutely right. We got a special pizza only available at the restaurant, and it was incredible… tasty and refined but filling at the same time. Grazie!

Good stop after a boat tour. Did not know what to expect since it looked a bit touristy. Turned out the pizza was excellent. Next to the harbor...lots of people walking by, but a decent value and good food.

My main course meal ravioli had only 5 pcs on the plate and barely covered the bottom of the plate, for 14 euros. Finished it in less than 3 min. Had to order Pizza as top up food. Pizza for my son was burned and was on the plate with chipped corners. Next time I'll bring my own plate. Also a bit overpriced. A 0.5L bottle of still water is 4 euros, we had 2 bottles of water for 8 euros! Some of the other places don't even charge for the water... The service table was right behind my wife's chair too close, every time the waiter had to go over my wife's head to get menus or cutlery for the clients...

Great food with reasonable price compare with other restaurant in Capri also good service. Their restaurant just 200m from pier. Enjoy great seafood with seaview

Perfect lunch - spaghetti alle vongole (19€) & pasta napoletana (€15). Beer & wine (5-10€). They also have fresh fish (fish of the day) & I recommend it grilled. Seaside marina prices are actually twice less than up the hill (if you take the funiculeur). Totally recommend, very fine dining experience.

Don't get me wrong the food and the staff are great. But we did wait almost an hour to receive our food after ordering. We did get our cold entree of prosciutto first which helped calm our hangriness, but waiting that long is quite hard to do. It was sort of busy when we sat down, but a lot of people were come and gone between us, and people next to us had to leave without one person ever receiving their food as it took too long as well. So, my advice is to get here and be prepared to wait. If you are in a hurry, order something that is not a full course platter.

Yelp
Because I've lived in touristy cities for most of my adult life, I'm always wary of randomly picking a restaurant to eat at. My husband and I were in Capri for our honeymoon, and I found L'Approdo on Google. (Yelp isn't really a big thing in Italy, contrary to how many are on here.) We were seated immediately, but service took forever. The food was soooo good that I decided not to deduct any stars. There was a giant bus of Japanese tourists waiting for their lunch, so I'll assume this is what was backing up the kitchen. For €18 I got the spaghetti with clams, which quickly became my favorite Italian dish in the whole world. My mouth waters just thinking about it. My husband got fried seafood in a cone, as well as french fries. The fries were obviously frozen, but the seafood was fresh. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Only a few restrooms upstairs, so I waited for like 20 minutes. I'd consider the crowd next time, but the wait for L'Approdo was worth it. One of the best meals I had in Italy!

Yelp
We are on a full day boat cruise and stopped at L'Approdo for lunch. Pastas, pizza, and zucchini flower + burrata appetizers were incredible. HIT the spot & service is so wonderful! Highly recommend

Yelp
We had Margherita pizza one of the best we ever had. Started with a mixed salad so fresh really nice grape tomatoes. Just delicious. Paulo was our waiter as good as the food was Paulo was better. We were in a rush to catch the ferry he did express pizza got us out fast but it was so enjoyable. Off the pier to the left. Finished off with festive plates table cloths and beautiful silverware added to the beautiful island ambiance.

Yelp
Tourist trap BEWARE!!!!!!!!! Food is so so, mostly over priced. Bathrooms are this disgusting shared male and female bathroom. So uncomfortable and invading. They charge a SURPRISE 2.50 euro cover charge. Insane, when I asked what it was for they did it was for the use of the napkins. Other patrons of the restaurant were equally as rude. STAY AWAY

Yelp
I have no idea why this place only has 2.5 stars. This restaurant was the best place Ive been to during my stay in Capri. My server Raffaele was the BEST!! Absolute amazingggggg!!!! He was extremely friendly, hospitable and everything he recommended was great. We ordered pizza arrabiata ( tomato sauce, mozzarella and spicy salami), grilled snapper and spaghetti alle vongole (clams). Raffaele brought us complementary eggplant appetizer which was delicious it tasted like an eggplant parm. We also ordered a liter of house white wine which was really good. The food was flavorful and absolutely delicious. Would go back in a heart beat. If you ever visit Capri for to L'APPRODO AND ASK FOR RAFFAELE! Grazie Mille x l'ottima Esperanzia!!!

Yelp
Our last day in Capri was a wash - literally. It just poured rain for hours, ruining our plans of a boat trip to the Blue Grotto. We tried to leave and found that the next ferry was sold out, so found ourselves with a couple hours to kill before leaving for Naples. We walked along the marina and found this place with free WiFi. Done! They had gluten free pasta available (I had to ask) so I ordered that in a lemon cream sauce. I "shared" a Caprese salad with my partner but ended up eating most of it after he filled up on bread :D It was not that good, but not the worst I had on the island. He ordered another pasta dish which I can't remember - he didn't like it. My lemon cream pasta was slightly overcooked (easy to do with gluten free) and bland - not much lemon flavour. My own lemon mascarpone pasta is better than that one, sorry! The worst part of the experience, though, is that they put us at the table next to the refrigerator where they kept the fruits and cakes. Every time someone ordered either, they'd come over, make me lean away and open the case to get what they needed - then put it back a few minutes later. I was probably moved a dozen times by the end of our meal - really annoying. Watch out for that table :/

Yelp
Yes, it's in the touristy marina district of Capri, so of course the additional cover charge is expected. But if you want some very fresh seafood and pasta, this is a great place for that! The seafood salads (mine specifically was the Nico salad) tasted fresh and like it was just out of the sea. The pasta and shellfish (according to my dining companions) were flavourful. It's conveniently located at the end of the Marina, with a large patio for people watching.

Yelp
My girl friend and I visited this restaurant at about 4 pm just when they were closing for dinner. We ordered Ravioli and Pamodora Pizza. Both were amazing with true Italian aroma and taste. We had a liberal spill of Parmasean cheese in Ravioli and it was one of the best we have had. If you visit Capri do not miss out on this place . It is right on beach front.

Yelp
came here for lunch after arriving in capri off the ferry! it's about a 5 minute walk to the left of the port and it's a good place to get away from the crowds of the ferry. they have a huge menu with lots of variety, and lots of fresh seafood. I got the mixed seafood spaghetti that was delicious - came with shrimp, clams, mussels, octopus and squid. the pizzas, seafood and pasta dishes around me looked great as well. the staff were very nice and helpful. great place to go if you're starving coming off the ferry of capri and looking for a quality meal.

Yelp
If you have just come into port or only enjoy looking at the yachts this place is pretty nice. I ordered as much food as I could possibly eat and it all was great; a little salty but hey you are on the Mediterranean. Feel free to ask me any questions about it.

Yelp
Nice staff, good food (better look restaurant than the other restaurants in the main pier that has a more "commercial" appeal).

Yelp
I am not sure why this place has such low reviews but the food was amazing. We had the apple risotto and the Carpi pasta both were wonderful. And the service was great!

Yelp
With limited availability on the island during low season, our hotel recommended L'Approdo. Overall it was a nice experience. The service was warm and inviting and the pizza was really good. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the Lemon creme ravioli. When you are in Capri you need to experience Lemon on everything, just not this. But that being said, when we are back in Capri we will definitely stop by for a great Pizza!

Yelp
Very good food. Fair price. Chose grilled calamari and spaghetti with sea food. Free wifi. Great view.

Yelp
We came here at a recommendation from one of the local sailors. It sure was a disappointment. My wife had ordered a seafood plate with large shrimp and fired calamari. It tasted stale like it had been left out for a long time and I had ordered a pizza which was at best "okay". The service was terrible! We went for lunch and it was basically empty but they sat us next to a drunk couple that was smoking. We asked to be moved and even though the restaurant was empty they moved us to this crowed corner table outside. When ordering the waiter didn't even look at us he looked like he was staring into space. The waiter then spilled wine as he was pouring because again he wasn't looking. Then at the end I had to ask like 5 times for the check because we wanted to get out of there but the waiter would never bring it. Overall, it was a huge disappointment and you could get better quality food and service at a McDonald's.

Yelp
We found L'Approdo by happenstance and later realized how fortunate we were. Our tour of the Blue Grotto had been cancelled due to high surf. As we're were receiving our refund we asked the gentleman in the kiosk where we could console ourselves before catching the ferry back to Napoli. He told us to walk past all the restaurants before us and and look for L'Approdo. We followed his advice. The light lunch was excellent. We had fried baby calamari, a still unidentified green sautéed with pine nuts and capers, and linguine Al limone. We finished off everything with a fine carafe of rossa. At the table next to sat three Italian ferry crewmen. All three had a pizza of their own followed by pasta dishes. They devoured everything. It only confirmed that we had stumbled upon one of the better places on the marina.

Yelp
Awful service, the waiter is violent and rude. They litteraly forced us out and insult and threaten the clients.
