Lara is one of the most stunning beaches in Cyprus. The warm water and absence of crowds make it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. This beach is also home to turtle nesting sites, adding to its unique charm.
Reaching the beach by car is quite challenging; we used a rented buggy, which made for an enjoyable adventure. Alternatively, you can get there by quad. Be sure to bring plenty of drinking water. The beach itself is sandy, with very shallow waters, perfect for a relaxing day.
This peaceful spot is far from the hustle and bustle. It's remote and requires a fairly long drive over rough terrain (at least 20 minutes), but that adds to its appeal. It's also a protected area for two species of turtles, making it a serene and special destination.
