Lara is one of the most stunning beaches in Cyprus. The warm water and absence of crowds make it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. This beach is also home to turtle nesting sites, adding to its unique charm. Reaching the beach by car is quite challenging; we used a rented buggy, which made for an enjoyable adventure. Alternatively, you can get there by quad. Be sure to bring plenty of drinking water. The beach itself is sandy, with very shallow waters, perfect for a relaxing day. This peaceful spot is far from the hustle and bustle. It's remote and requires a fairly long drive over rough terrain (at least 20 minutes), but that adds to its appeal. It's also a protected area for two species of turtles, making it a serene and special destination.

Great beach with sandy shore and turtle nests. A bit of a difficult road to the beach, but the trip there is worth it. Very clear water and stunning views.

Lara Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus. The beach is also a turtle nesting site, which adds to its natural charm. Far removed from the busy tourist areas, Lara Beach offers a remote, tranquil experience. The drive, which takes at least 30 minutes over rough terrain, adds to the secluded feel. As a protected area for two species of turtles, this beach is both serene and ecologically special.

Best beach e have ever been! The road to get there is quite shitty but when you are finally there, it was everything worth it ;) didnt see any turtels but the water was extremly clear and you can walk up to 40 meters in the ocean and you will still have your head above the water

We couldn’t see any baby turtles, but we did spot a few large ones in the sea. It was an awesome experience, especially for the kids. Be aware that you cannot set up umbrellas in the sand, so it’s better to come here after 4 pm.

A perfect Sandy beach, warm clean water, lots of waves if you like swimming with waves that's a perfect spot. The only problem is about a 30 minute ride on a bad road.

Very nice sandy beach. If you are lucky and in the right time you could see sea turtles, we didn’t. But the road is a nightmare it’s off road actually.

Absolutely idilic beach. The best in the area in my opinion. The road to the beach is long and pretty treacherous (if you can even call it a road) so be prepared but the journey is worth it and because of this the beach is very quiet. Beautiful golden sand and clear waters. The beach is part of a conservation project so you cannot take parasols for shade so be prepared. The beach is also covered in cages where potential nests might be. We didn’t unfortunately see any turtles but I know on certain days you can. The only thing that broke my heart a little was the amount of small plastic on the beach! It’s sad to see.
