LARA HOMESTAY

The stay here was pleasant. The room had great working air conditioning and hot water! Very good breakfasts and the possibility to do laundry are a plus. However, I think the staff could be a little nicer.

Would not recommend this place. Although it’s in the great location there was a number of bad experiences. The rooms are not clean what so ever. There is a foul smell coming from the drains of the shower, the toilet has drainage backwash when you flush. The showers are only cold with no pressure. See attached photo. We raised all these issues with the staff but no changes were made. Can find much better place within the area.

Good location, confortable room and clean, delicious breakfast, very near the restaurants but quite and no noise, the best Lara and the Staff that made me feel like at home. Lara maneged everything I need, I'll repit again next time I'm in Kuta Lombok.

We had a perfect stay at Lara's homestay ! We stayed 1 month and everything was perfect. Lara and her family is adorable, smiling and helpful. The breakfast is big and delicious. We were on the 3rd floor and the room was very spacious, bright and clean. Lara works very hard to satisfy her guests ! And the emplacement is perfect, you are in the very center and you have all the good restaurants around. 200% recommended ! We will definitely come back here when we'll come back in Lombok !

Clean, friendly and helpful people. Lara is kind and bubbly. Her staff are wonderful and lovely. Location is central and easy to find. The wifi was a bit spotty at times in my room but it’s better that way. The shower is strong and the air conditioner works fine.

We stayed here for 3 nights for our whole time in Lombok, the place is great however it is Lara that really makes the place! The breakfast is great with a range of hot and cold options to choose from and is all made fresh in front of you. One evening Lara had suggested we all eat together with the other people staying there and it was one of the best evenings we’ve had in our months stay in Indonesia. Lara cooked for us all which was a huge range of Indonesian food and all tasted incredible. We also rented a bike which was great and super affordable. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great. Overall can’t thank Lara enough for the lengths she went to, to make our stay great. Would only stay here if we returned to Lombok!

Lara is lovely and friendly, but personally I found the Homestay to be quite loud and the bed was uncomfortable. The room only had one window (skylight) and it was boarded up with a blanket. Unfortunately one of the staff members also touched my pocket knife, which was unsettling! Location and price is fantastic though.

Very good location, delicious breakfast, Lara and all the staff are very nice ! I recommend this place to stay in Kuta center!
