L'Argentoratum

Good Alsace style food. Very large portions. Service is typical of France (nothing particularly exemplary nor remarkable) but overall good. Tap water is available in a carafe for free so don't buy still bottled water unless you absolutely want to.

Very delicious. We had one of the daily specials, the fondue munster, which included really tasty black forest ham. Amazing price as well ( especially after having had fondue in Switzerland ). Unlike a lot of restaurants nearby, not overrun, as it's effectively around the corner from all the tourists. We'll be back!

The tarte flambée! Was so delicious, and was very happy with the choice of Munster. Def recommend.

Strasbourg, France will always hold a special place in my heart for many reasons. Aside from fabulous memories, the food doesn't compare to anything at home. Tonight, we ate at L'Argentoratum. Aside from the wonderful service & large portions, everything was delcious. We started with a goat cheese honey salad & alcasian pinot gris. I had the cordon bleu de veau au munster & he had the beouf au pinot gris. Everything with an expresso came to 72€. Service top-notch.

Expected too much. I had the Cordon Bleu with Munster cheese & mushrooms which was nice, but not very cheesy and not very big. My partner had the sirloin fillet (“cooked medium”)- it was closer to well done but was tender, however lacked flavour if it weren’t for the herb butter. The service was chaotic, the main waitress was disorganised. The other 2 staff spent a lot of time standing behind the bar when they could’ve been tending to tables. It took a long time between the table being cleared and paying the bill. However, it was very reasonably priced, our 2 meals with a beer and wine came to €70.

Delicious local food, lovely outdoor seating, great wine and cozy atmosphere.

We had the flammenkeuken and Reisling wine. Friendly service and great food. There is outdoor seating, but not much of a view. Inside looked nice.

Referral from the Soffitel concierge for a local lunch in Petite France. We had a very good Chef's Salad and the tarte flambée with Mushrooms and Emmental. Would definitely come back again!
