Larkhill Tipis and Yurts

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful Tipi tent! It was incredibly cozy and unique, offering the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was so peaceful, and being surrounded by nature made the experience truly special. It’s the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors. Larkhill is a truly magical place! I booked the bentwood yurt for my birthday and the rest of my family liked the look of Larkhill so much they booked the tipi and lavvu too. We had a wonderful time sitting around the campfire making paella and roasting marshmallows. We can't wait to go back next year!

Had a wonderful time with my friend for two nights. We both had a stressful week and needed to get away from it all in nature. The tranquility of Larkhill was exactly what we needed. We stayed in a yurt and had enough space to do some night time yoga! Also really enjoyed the cooking facilities in our yurt for breakfast and outside space for a little campfire. We went to the main kitchen to cook dinner and ended up chatting to a family. We got on so well that we all ended up spending the next day together! What an unexpected suprise. The thing about glamping is that it is whatever you need it to be at that time- you can completely close yourself off or reconnect with others and nature. The facilities are perfect- I enjoyed an outdoor shower and walking around hidden would carvings. It is reasonably priced and they have an honesty shop for wood. The owners are lovely. We have stayed at Larkhill 3 times in 3 different tents all absolutely amazing, the log cabin was a lovely addition to the site with a kitchen and dining area. The hot shower was a godsend on cold days and the 'beast' of a wood burner kept us toasty inside. This is our go to camp site and we will try to visit at least once a year. No matter the season its a must for all

We have spent two amazing holidays here, both over the new year period in average weather. The yurts are cosy, comfortable and Fran and Tony were so welcoming to our family. There is a communal kitchen and fire pit which was great to meet up with others of the same mindset. It’s the perfect break if you want to get away from tech and back to nature!!

We had an incredible stay here in the Mongolian ger. The entire area is awe-inspiring and very kid-friendly, with lots of things to explore and discover. Plenty of really thoughtful touches and amazing attention to detail that's accumulated over the years. The host Catherine was extremely friendly and accommodating, and even introduced us to the baby goats despite a busy day on the farm. It's a truly magical place and highly recommended for a unique holiday.

We loved our stay here as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 3). The accommodation was beautifully cosy and the woodland location was really special - so much wildlife, and the kids loved exploring. It felt very safe and welcoming - one of our favourite family getaways, and we will certainly be coming back.

Amazing location and wonderful facilities. Everything you need for a wholesome and relaxing getaway. We’ve been a few times now. There’s lots of wood to keep warm, the washroom facilities are ideal. As there is a common area for washing up and cooking which helps a lot as you don’t need to bring as much stuff. We hope to come back again soon.

What a great place for a holiday with a difference. I went there with my boyfriend for his birthday and it was fantastic. We stayed in a tipi and cooked on open fires at night. Baskets of cut wood are provided, as well as fresh free range eggs from there chickens and ducks every morning. Next time I want to stay in one of the yurts. Beautiful setting and they are very eco friendly and power alot of things from their wind turbines and solar panels. Great for families, couples and young people
