Larochette Castle

Admission is currently 7 Euros. If you are going to roam freely then you won't get a whole lot of information. There are some posters within the tower that help you with getting an idea of how the space you're looking at was used, but other than that you'll have to use your imagination. The ruin itself is very nice to explore and pretty much every corner can be reached. The different views from the castle are beautiful and worth it.

Worth a visit if you are passing through, the view is simply magnificent, and the castle is also very pretty. If you want a guided tour, you must contact them in advance, if you do the tour without a guide, there is no need to do this. The visit is quiet between the ruins of the old castle of the village, there are not many people. The didactic illustrated tables represent the scenes in the different rooms.

Perfect castle! Very large territory, beautiful view and many places to make great photos. You can discover the ruins yourself and find many interesting things. It’s amazing. The entry is 5 euro. I just wanted to have a billet with plan and explanation about rooms and usage of territories. You can get to the castle by foot by road for cars or through the forest in opposite side, check the footpaths.

The castle itself is not pretty as only one part is presented in the way that tourists can enter and understand what is it about the other parts are ruined walls and no description of what is it about, there are two ways to reach the castle car driving way from above but it’s too narrow and only one car can drive at a time, so if you are lucky you can drive all the way or you need to drive back to give a way to other driver. Second way is to climb stairs from the city , the castle has a bit better view from city. April 2022 entry tickets cost 5 € for adults

Nice little castle, but mostly in ruins. Entry included with the Luxembourg card. Go for a walk across the valley for great views over the town towards the castle.

It's wonderful to see the effort put into rebuilding and maintaining the old Fort/Castle. A short walk on the old tranquil little town with lots of wonderful people. Dont miss visiting the grand Church when you are there.

This castle was such a nice surprise! We were on our way to Vianden when we decided to give it a go (it’s only 5 km off the road to Vianden) and it was simply awesome! The entry is free of charge and the inside of the castle is well maintained. The ruins are breathtaking. It was a high point on our trip.
