Beautiful cafe with great gallery and garden walk brimming with gorgeous ceramic and metal art. Lots of mosaic also. Food was superb - I particularly loved the potato sticks (think chunky chips but made of hash browns!). Yummm. Great coffee too and heaters kept us toasty.

We visited this café both on our way to and from Napier during the Easter holiday — and absolutely loved it! Every dish and every coffee was spot on; our whole family agreed it was one of the best we’ve had. What truly touched us was the kindness of Steph — I left a pair of earphones on the table, and when I called, she immediately offered to deliver them back to our home in Auckland. After almost 20 years in New Zealand, I can say it’s really hard to lose something here — Kiwis are simply the kindest people. This café not only serves amazing food and coffee, but also has a lovely artistic vibe. A must-visit if you’re in Taupo!

This fabulous cafe is well worth the extra travel from Taupō. Set in a beautifully landscaped environment, where the local pottery and mosaic art is on display as a feast for your senses. Amy’s coffee prowess hits the spot every time and her colleagues continue the fabulous service with a friendliness that makes your day. The food is Devine !!! Such great flavours with generous helpings. Ample parking and wheelchair accessible. I cannot fault this beautiful cafe. 💕😃

Beautiful place, excellent food and great service. They have a covered deck to sit with your dog.

The gallery is a 5 star experience and the cafe a 4 star. Service was good, but food was just fine. It was the walk through the outdoor gallery that was the absolute highlight, and reason we would return. So many beautiful pieces to enjoy. If they were easier to put in our luggage we definitely would have bought many many things!

Nice gallery etc but don’t have prices on cabinet food or drink – probably to hide their high prices – check your bill. Would you shop anywhere else without prices? Your supermarket? The Warehouse? Buy an appliance? Don’t they think customers can make an informed decision for themselves? Are they embarrassed by their prices and hiding them? Or just arrogant and pretentious?

We loved it, the food was exactly as ordered: we're fussy and like our bacon really crispy and the eggs over easy! And the art is just amazing - highly recommended 👌

Great location cafe with interesting mosaic sculpture garden and gallery/shop. Good range of counter food. Cakes, pies, sandwiches. Salmon bagel looked delicious and very generous with toppings. Blackboard menu with all the usual brunch fare. Coffee was good, nice flavour and well made. Service friendly.

This art cafe is definitely living up its name. There is art and a cafe with great food selections. We wanted more breakfast food so we opted with benedicts and corn fritters but they also had amazing salad and sandwich choices (I was looking at other tables near us). I'd definitely recommend coming in to check out the art, they have a small gift shop attached to the cafe for some interesting/cute products. There is a mosaic living room outside in the garden when you walked into the premise. Everything about this place is so quaint. I'd recommend coming in even if it's just for a quick coffee/tea to enjoy the scenery of the garden.

Just discovered this place on our last day in Taupo. We were looking for something interesting to see and a good place to have breakfast. The crowd seemed to be morning joggers and young families. Very smooth. Music is not too loud. Atmosphere feels smooth and cozy. Pros: Eggs on toast were made to perfection and the portion was generous. Eggs Benedict on potatoe cake was a delight. I took the smoked salmon and wasabi hollandaise one. I wanted to dare and it was delicious. Perfect balance of wasabi and richness. Cons: Not much. I got surprised about the price at first but our lattes and breaky was good enough to justify that. Plus the art outside the cafe looks amazing! To give you an indication eggs on toast+eggs benedict + 2 lattes = 38$ And as I said it worth every peny of it.

Nice patio to sit and admire the gardens. Chicken salad on ciabatta bread was fine, nothing special. Very cute shop.

This gorgeous little Cafe is well worth a visit. Not only is the food healthy, tasty and reasonably priced, the Cafe is clean and set in beautiful garden surroundings with friendly staff. The various artwork includes colourful hand made china, all very reasonably priced and can be shipped if required. There are a good variety of beautiful, affordable gifts, definitely recommend a visit, awsome place! Allow at least an hour for your visit.
