"Be a beach bum Larvotto is a small stretch of pebbles along the shore, and the country’s only beach. Gathered at Monaco’s extreme eastern border, it is the ideal spot to appreciate the Mediterranean. Paddle boards and kayaks are available for rent, while SkiVol offers inner tubing, water skiing or parasailing. It is a great place to snorkel, but insiders continue walking the Sentier Littoral into Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France, following the pedestrian tunnel under the exclusive 1930’s Monte Carlo Beach Hotel to the tiny public beach and cement jetty, where there are no amenities, but plenty of peace and quiet. Loved the beach! Beautiful, clean water with a lot of good vibes! Nice atmosphere, free public showers and toilets The beach has pebbles instead of sand so recommended to wear water shoes Bars, restaurants, café’s located around the beach

One of the best beaches in the world. Clean, no debris, crystal clear water with lots of fish, great pier to dive into the water. Good for kids & lots of beach side restaurants

The beach is fine, but honestly nothing special. Yes, the water is clear and the view with yachts is very “Monaco”, but the beach itself is pebbles - not the most comfortable if you’re not on a sunbed. Renting a lounger with an umbrella feels nice, but for the price you kind of expect more. It’s definitely clean and safe, but also crowded and not very relaxing

The beach it self is very clean and has a nice view. On the contrary, it is not very big, has almost no trees at all and is quite expensive.Ideal for the ones that like to experience a more luxorious beach experience, but the beaches in the nearby at the French coast are more family-friendly.

Beautiful, clean beach with lot of good vibes. Very calm atmosphere, this is a great public beach. We went in September end, it was cold hence could not swim or get into the waters. Lot of cafes by the beach side.

⸻ Review: Larvotto Beach – Serenity and Family Comfort in the Heart of Monaco Larvotto Beach, located in the heart of Monaco, is a beautifully maintained seaside spot that perfectly blends natural beauty with accessibility and comfort. Recently renovated, the beach offers a safe and welcoming environment for visitors of all ages — particularly families with children. The shoreline is a mix of soft gravel and sand, making it comfortable to walk and relax on. The calm, shallow waters are ideal for kids and casual swimmers, thanks to the protected bay structure that keeps the sea gentle even on windier days. What makes Larvotto Beach especially appealing is its easy access: it’s within walking distance from central Monaco, well-connected by public transport, and offers nearby parking. The promenade is flat and stroller-friendly, and the beach is equipped with clean public restrooms, showers, and facilities for people with reduced mobility. Along the seafront, you’ll find a variety of restaurants and cafés — perfect for a leisurely lunch, a quick bite, or simply enjoying a drink with a view. The area is peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully designed for a full day of seaside enjoyment. ⸻ Overall Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Larvotto Beach is a must-visit for anyone in Monaco looking for a relaxing and family-friendly beach experience. With calm waters, convenient access, and great amenities, it’s an ideal spot for a pleasant day by the Mediterranean — highly recommended.

The only public beach in Monaco, nice and accessible to go for a quick dip or lay all day in the sun. The beach bars and restaurants are on the beach, there is a lot of other content, like beach shops, some festivals etc. The sea is very dirty though.
