Las Arenas Balneario Resort

We stayed here with family end of September. We booked three rooms: two execute suites and one family room. All the staff were great, rooms clean, breakfast buffet was delicious and the pop up ice cream stand was amazing. Just worth noting (and this might not bother everyone), the family room we got faced towards a beach club to the South of the hotel which was audible to us staying in the family room well into the early morning hours. However, our other guests in the executive suites that faced West could not hear the beach club music. Staff were very kind and accommodating when we asked to be moved to another room facing away from the beach club. Overall you can't go wrong, we had a lovely stay and would definitely visit again (but not book a room on the South side).

I was here for work function and did not know what to expect. Stayed for four nights in an executive room on the second floor which was spacious with desk and armchair, bathroom with separate bathtub and walk in shower, bidet and two sinks. It was at the end of the corridor so really quiet. ||Balcony was a highlight with 2 loungers, table and chairs.||Housekeeping was really good, with plenty of towels left each day and evening service too. I often pick on housekeeping inconsistency but not here - well done to this department. ||Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of fruits. Fans of Full English may be disappointed though but I like continental. In was really warm snd sunny in November and you can sit outside yo soak rays.||Hotel has plentiful conference facilities in separate building.||I would nearly give it a five star but despite being granted late checkout until 1.30 pm and having key card extended I was called why i am still in the room as they have no record in the system. I had to push back and told them|to communicate with each other but it made me feel uncomfortable and for that I deduct one star. This is not great customer service. Not well done to reception who also tried to charge me for minibar items I did not touch.||Overall nice hotel to spend few days in off season. There is a port nearby so not sure how clean the sea is to swim|In the summer but for late Autumn walk is great.

beautiful hotel, wonderful breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff, lovely pool facilities. The staff were accommodating in every aspect. Immaculately clean all around the hotel and room. Short transfer from the airport, about 25 minutes, |great size room for 3 of us, comfortable beds, everything you could need. Everyone was friendly. I was lucky enough to have my company pay for our stay. Would definintely stay there again and recommend.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was nice, with a sea view and a terrace, although the bathroom was a bit small. Upon arrival, it would have been helpful to receive a bit more information about the facilities. The hotel terrain is quite large, and I found the Spa experience somewhat disappointing given the price charged. The weather was moderate, so not every day could be spent having breakfast outsideon these days it involved waiting at the door until a table became available inside, which was inconvenient. I was pleasantly surprised by the food in the brasserie; it was very enjoyable. Overall, it's a great hotel, a good base for exploring Valencia and still close to the beach.

For me, this resort hotel is the most beautiful and best hotel in Valencia. The hotel is architecturally well-designed, stylishly furnished, and very spacious. I felt very welcome at this hotel and was always well looked after. The large room was always spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was beautifully presented and truly delicious. I especially loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and the large garden terrace. Every evening I went to the free indoor pool or the spa (for a fee, €25 for 90 minutes). The spa offers a wide range of treatments, is very pleasant, and relaxing. Next time I come to Valencia, I will definitely book this resort hotel again. Thank you to the entire hotel team; you are all very kind and helpful.

We knew we picked the right place the minute we pulled up. We were warmly greeted and assisted to the front desk for check in. The resort is beautiful. Clean and well kept. Our room was lovely on the 4th floor with a balcony. The spa's Wellness Session is not to be missed after a long flight (or anytime for that matter). The spa is spotless, the team is friendly and helpful, especially Mabel who made us feel right at home. Mornings were rainy during our stay so we started each day at the spa! The food was really fantastic. We had the breakfast plan. The food and options were plentiful and deliciously prepared. We ordered Room Service our first night. We had the Valencia salad and couldn't wait to have it again. Our server was friendly and helpful. It was rainy during our stay but umbrellas were conveniently located throughout the hotel and the overhang in the back kept us dry while we drank coffee, read books and listened to the rain. I really cannot say enough about this magical place - the staff was so welcoming and helpful - I felt at home. Thank you for such a great stay!

Room is reasonably spacious and somewhat updated but the bathroom is old. Do not expect to have nice relaxing shower. Whole hotel is feeling a little dated, with random desks set up in the lobby for concierge and guest services. The hallways to the rooms are musky. When I pulled up google to write a review, I was surprised to see it is a 5 star hotel. It does not feel like one at all. Service has been fine, as expected at a hotel but nothing better. For example, I didn’t get a call when my room was ready, I had to come back a few hours later to ask. Overall, it’s fine, just fine.

I booked this hotel because I wanted to combine some late season sun/exercise with a visit to Valencia. I was a bit concerned that it would have a 'big Spanish resort hotel' vibe, especially since it was half-term and the half-marathon weekend. However, I was really happy with the choice. Why:||- Valencia is lovely, but I'd rather spend a few minutes in a taxi if a city break can be combined with more space/beach/relaxation. It isn't walkable to the historic centre (over an hour), but it's doable to combine with taxis and bikes (offered by the hotel for rental). It's very similar to the W or Arts in Barcelona in that respect (albeit with a more traditional atmosphere).|- it is a true 5* hotel with staff and food quality to match. It's big which can give a certain first impression. But the quality is there in everything. The hotel has a bit of history which reduces the big resort hotel feel as well.|- the beach is great for running, walking etc but not somewhere you want to hang out. So having a pool right by the beach for lounging is ideal.|- the immediate neighbourhood is quite hip in itself, with good looking bar/restaurants but quite a young demographic.|- all the hotel facilities are excellent (gym, spa, pools etc). Pools are - however - very cold (presumably unheated)||I would happily stay again.
