"Las Brumas If you’re feeling a bit short of breath, you’re not imagining things: the elevation of this restaurant, is more or less on par with Denver at around a mile high. Special not only because of its altitude, this restaurant is also unique because of its location in a volcano (don’t worry; it won’t erupt). Ceviche and grilled meats are the specialties of the house, which diners enjoy while watching hummingbirds flutter about in the air."

Our family stopped here after enjoying a delicious steak dinner at La Pampa ( not far off ). We only had some coffee and desserts but we were stunned by the incredible view displaying the entire city of San Salvador beneath us! The food we decided to order was absolutely incredible. The coffee they Brew here is fantastic. I had an Americano and a coffee with a shot of Bailey's. Smooth and delicious with a great aroma all around! The desserts we tried were the cheese flan and tiramisu. The texture of the flan was perfect. The taste was one of the best flans I've had in some time. The tiramisu serving was quite large and lots of layers of great flavors! The service here was great. Coming around Christmas time. It is quite busy with work events so there were lots of gifts and packages coming in and out of the restaurant with large groups from the city. They also have expanded quite a bit. My family was saying in the last couple of years allowing for more space and seating for people even in the rain. Breathtaking view tops it all off!

This place is located near Parque Nacional El Boqueron. You can go for a short hike and then come here for a great meal. The location is very nice. There’s a path that winds through a well manicured garden. There’s a balcony for a large group to hang out on with a nice view while waiting on a table. The outdoor patio is great and at that elevation the air is cool in the evening. We came here for Pupusas and it was muy delicious. I especially enjoyed the frijoles and queso filling. The salsa was on the mild side and I would prefer more heat. But I think this is normal for El Salvador as I noticed most salsas lack heat. Overall this was a beautiful environment to enjoy good food and good company.

Beautiful restaurant on the volcano. Traditional local food paired with an impeccable view of the city from its deck, this restaurant was the highlight of the weekend for my wife and me. I would highly recommend the grilled shrimp. It’s grilled to perfection - juicy and full of flavor. The Tres Leches cake was really good as well. The milk used here definitely was more milky than what we have in the states. The staff does not speak English, so some patience is required. We were able to find one who speaks a little so it worked out quite well for us.

Love love love this place! It’s beautiful!!! It’s such a nice place to go with family, it is surrounded by nature, so many flowers trees and exceptional view! My friend brought me here and I fell inlove! The place is extraordinary clean, spotless and well decorated. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The food was really good! They have a variety of dishes and drinks! It’s very peaceful and calmed. I can guess it gets super crowded for dinner and on weekends so I recommend going off hours. Truly amazing place!

Taste of food is painfully average at best. Thoroughly uninspired selections on their menu. Their only saving grace is their beef—which is overshadowed by the choice of American cheese for the only sandwich they have. Vegetables are undercooked and under seasoned. But despite the failings of entrees, their deserts and cafe offerings are good. Coffee, hot chocolate, and the quesadilla are all pleasing. But if you’re here for lunch, just skip it and come here for dessert and a view. Although, it’s okay if you want to pay $25+ individually to be disappointed.
