Love the staff here! Joy made sure that we always had everything we needed / asked for. She even arranged a private massage in our room for us! The sunset here is so beautiful Great ambiance immersed in lush beauty. The villas were clean and comfortable with great AC. Just keep in mind that there is no road to here and you’ll need to walk about 7 minutes from the road. The staff can help with your luggage.

Not a luxury resort but a more authentic Filipino stay! Lovely large rooms which are basic but have all the necessities. Tea and instant coffee in room. Great WiFi. Beachfront property and you can swim from the hotel although I’d recommend sea shoes! Great restaurant (very large portions) which we ended up eating at most nights as we travelled during the rainy season and got stuck at the hotel. Even though this hotel is a 10 min beach walk from the road, the porters carry your bags and the staff are extremely helpful. Overall, a lovely stay and great for our family of 6.

Room: Garden View|Travelled with Family|4D3N||Accommodation: the room cozy and it has a homey feeling. Good ventilation as soon as the AC has been turned on for 30mins. The room and toilet/bath are spacious. Good space for your clothes and toiletries. There is also a hair dryer, good supply of water, and hot/warm water. ||Food: I read the reviews about them being pricey. I would say they are pricey because the serving is good for 3-4 people or 2 persons who have big appetite. Breakfast buffet is limited but it is enough for me. ||Amenities and Location: I love the pool, the hammocks, the gardens, and its location. It’s peaceful. You get 2 types of beaches here - Marimegmeg and Vanilla. The view is amazing. It is located near the zipline. It has a bar beside. Non-guests have been staying at the pool and in the restaurant. I do not mind it until I have no more space to rest. They have a live acoustic every night. The place is clean. Although the reviews say that it requires walking, I did not mind it as there are porters who will assist you. Just provide the number of guests, follow the hotel’s instructions upon booking, and they will provide enough porters to help you with your luggages. ||Customer service: they greet you all the time. They are accommodating.||For improvement: maybe offer a half-serving for the food for those who eat small serving. This is to lessen also the food waste. The leftovers will just be thrown away. For the owner as well to value peace and quiet of the guests. I would suggest to tone down the voice and not dominate the space of silence; we do not want to hear your conversation with other people. ||Tips: buy water outside, bring cotton swabs and hair cap. You can enjoy their pool and resto without having to check-in the resort.

Beautiful location and great sunsets, but the hotel is very difficult to get to. You have to walk very far from the McDonalds on the Main Street and down the beach to access the resort. The rooms are very basic, not what I expected at this price point. I think it would be a good value at half the price they are charging. Would not recommend. Stay somewhere more convenient, and take a trike to visit the beach here for a few hours at sunset.

A really lovely boutique resort with a very beautiful and welcoming ambience, exceptional service and great food and cocktails at the resort restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay here and we can only highly recommend this place. A big thank you to the owner Dan and to the amazing staff Jade and Hazel for looking after us and for making our stay so enjoyable, trouble free, memorable and very pleasant. 10 out of 10. Thank you so much for having us Las Cabanas Beach Resort. A magic place. Lots of love from the fam in NZ.

First off, the staff was very nice and accommodating. After a long travel day, I arrived around 730pm and they were able to accommodate and keep the restaurant open longer for my wife and I. After a long travel day, this was much appreciated. Arriving at the hotel is the most difficult part. You’ll have to carry your bags all the way down the beach, and the hotel is at the very end. They do offer someone to help, but not enough for 4 bags. The food price is where I am mind blown and highly disappointed. My wife and I ordered fried rice, seafood fried rice, and 2 spring rolls.. 1750. That is insane. We ate a full meal, with multiple drinks at the popular restaurant along the beach, and was still less than 800. Because of the insane food prices and the inconvenient location, I will not be back. I truly do appreciate the service though.

Don't eat here! Food tastes good, but unfortunately we all got sick within 4 hours after eating there. Nauseous and diarrhoea. The receptionist at our hotel told us that we were the 3rd people with the same trouble after eating at Las Cabanas within 1.5 week. We were here for lunch and the facilities only. First day was a great experience. Service is not great, but furthermore an amazing spot. Beautiful views, nice lush gardens and pleasant swimming pool. Same for our second day, but unfortunately got sick. Shame.

Nice welcome drink mangoshake. Nice resort. Good pool although sometimes a bit dirty after 13:00. Breakfast best in the Phillippines so far 7/10. A bit far to walk to and not reachable with tricycle directly Edit: They charged me 400 pesos extra for laundry that wasnt mine. Turns out the next guest (who i dont know) was going home 06:00 in the morning the next day and they wanted me to go to the reception to leave the clothes they had given me and charged me for. I was out so I wasnt available at the time. I feel bad for the other guest but also annoyed this happened. When I came back to the hotel, security guard met up with me asap and asked me to give him the laundry.. i brought up the money and asked how much I should get back, he didnt know the answer. Later we decided to weigh it together and then he gave me around 400 pesos back. This made the total score of this hotel go down from 5/5 to 4/5.

Yelp
We came here for dinner. The food was quite good and came out piping hot. I can recommend their spicy squid, beef soup, and vegetable plate. The outdoor seating is beautiful but may not be ideal during summer months due to intermittent rain. They have a full bar. Menus in English so you can navigate the various items offered. Don't forget to walk vanilla beach!

Yelp
Overpriced for the services that they provide - including the beach front view. Here's why: NO A/C - if you're from a country like the U.S. Or somewhere relatively cold, be prepared to take the heat and humidity at full force. The hotel does NOT have A/C. Only fans. NO WIFI - yup. NO HOT WATER OPTION - The water is cold. Really cold. FOOD TASTE AND QUALITY LACKING - for the price they are asking, it's extremely lacking in taste and quality. Filipino dishes are really cheap, like $100 for breakfast. This place charges triple the price but the tastes doesn't follow the hike. It's actually the inverse and it is severely lacking. NO BUSINESS PHONE NUMBER & SLOW TO REPLY EMAIL - we needed to contact someone to help us with out heavy luggages and they only had email, which we had trouble with because of the extremely choppy internet they have in the philippines. We had a family member email them but never replied. FAR FROM MAIN ROAD AND NO BELL BOY TO CARRY LUGGAGES FOR A 15 MINUTE SAND WALK - if you're carrying a stroller luggage GOOD LUCK. the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the main road. 100 steps down a set of stairs and 10 minute walk on sand. Not even joking. It's literally an unpleasant hike. NO 24 HOUR PERSONNEL - the entire staff except the security guards leave at 10 and you're stranded till 7 a.m. GREAT VIEW, BUT DIRTY BEACH - the hotel is next to a "river" yeah.... That's not just a river. It's sewage. Don't play in the water. PRICE - for about $100 a night, i don't see where the money is going to but straight to the owner'a pockets. There's no WiFi, no A/C, no bell boy service, no telephone, no effective management, no great chef / good tasting food. The view is nice but if you're not enjoying your stay, then why would one stay here.... VIEW - it's nice, but read the previous first....
