Las Cabanas Beach Resort

We were very happy with our choice to stay here. Communication was good to arrange for the porters to meet us and carry our bags - thanks guys! Location is about 8mins from the road through a cute mall with cafes and shops, then along the beach. It's nice and quiet, gorgeous views and well kept. The shower works well, room is spacious, aircon works well, beds comfy and so quiet. We hsve the beachfront room which is pefect with. Little deck and counch to chill. Breakfast is a buffet and tasty. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Thanks team! Along the beach are a number of cool bars, cafes and shops so you dont have to go far. You can swim at the beach and its right under the zip line. It's easy to get a tricycle to el nido or corong corong and we are happy to have chosen to stay here.

Excellent hotel. The staff was very helpful and the service was excellent. The view from the hotel is great. You can walk right into the beach. You need to walk for 10 mins from the main road to reach the hotel. But they will help you carry the luggage - so won't be a major issue. We stayed in the beach facing room which was really cool. The hotel is a bit old. Some of the fittings might look ancient but it serves the purpose anyday. Food was not great but doable. There are other cafes nearby at walking distance if you want to explore. Overall , if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet stay with a great beach view , I would definitely recommend this.

We had an amazing stay at this resort on Las Cabañas Beach. Everything was simply perfect the rooms were modern, spacious, and spotless, with a stunning view that you never get tired of. The whole place has a relaxed, beachy vibe that instantly puts you in holiday mode. The location is unbeatable: right on one of the most beautiful beaches in El Nido, with incredible sunsets and easy access to great restaurants and cafes. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which made the stay even better. Overall, a fantastic experience peaceful, stylish, and the ideal spot to enjoy El Nido. The staff was very helpful from the outset and very well spoken. Rooms were great, just a few steps from the beach. They book tours and even arrange for pickup right at the beach. Only problem is the access to the hotel is quite a long walk of about 10 mins. Breakfast can be better.

An unforgettable stay at a truly exceptional hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warm and friendly atmosphere of the place. You can really feel that they love what they do and that they genuinely care about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the beaches and some of the best local restaurants. It’s the ideal spot to relax, soak up the sun, and admire stunning sunsets. The setting is calm and peaceful — perfect for couples, families, or friends looking for a relaxing getaway. The hotel’s restaurant deserves a special mention: the food is delicious, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. Breakfast is generous and varied — there’s something for everyone, and it’s a real treat every morning. We also loved the boat excursions offered by the hotel — such a great way to explore the area from a different perspective! In short: a beautiful place, excellent service, a fantastic team, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough! 🌅✨

A boutique resort that caters to smaller crowds. Has 4 Oceanside cabanas each with 2 beds. There are 2 larger rooms behind in a garden area around that can support larger families. Resort is public so all use pool & sun-bed areas. Great spot to stop & watch sun rise or set. We stayed a week and there is walk of about 15 mins from the mall to get here. Seems other reviewers were unprepared for this walk even though all of our bookings made it crystal clear there was a long walk. You're on an island & it's not a five star resort. No water is potable on Palawan so expect to bring your own. If you want all inclusive five star amenities stay inland or go spend the money at one of the price island resorts nearby, but if you want decent prices, great food & friendly service this is the place for you.

We spent the day here, and the place is so beautiful! The staff is really attentive, which is great. Heads up though: we had to buy food/drinks to use the sun loungers right by the beach and to use the pool. They do have showers and decent bathrooms, which is a plus!

Beautiful family beach and helpful staff (thanks Mr Jojo), but concrete problems remained unresolved We stayed six nights (two bookings). Days at the beach were lovely: warm water, a good pool, and helpful staff. The workers who helped carry our luggage were essential — I tipped them, and it would have been very difficult solo. Key unresolved issues to know before you book: • Access: 10–15 minute walk through sand; evenings are quiet (family beach) and poorly lit — check this matches your expectations. • Cash only & deposits: Multiple deposits for towels/keys felt excessive for a resort. Reclaiming a 500-peso towel deposit once took ~10 minutes and involved being questioned as to whether I was a guest. • Guest verification & walk-ins: I was asked to confirm I was a guest several times while sitting on the beach. Walk-in visitors use the facilities and often take beach beds, leaving paying guests without space. • Wedding without notice: A wedding blocked parts of the resort during our stay; no prior notice was given. • Laundry: Paid laundry returned our clothes stained. No solution or compensation was offered — this was the most upsetting issue. • Water pressure & health support: Showers had weak water pressure. When my brother became ill during a tour (not caused by the resort), staff offered tea only; we sought medical help ourselves. Resorts should have basic emergency guidance. • Pricing & services: On-site food and massage services are noticeably more expensive than nearby alternatives. • Breakfast suggestion: Breakfast OK — adding cheese and yogurt would help. Positives: lovely days at the beach, helpful team members (especially Mr Jojo), and smooth luggage help with tipping. But because several specific issues caused loss or were left unresolved (especially laundry damage and deposit handling), a simple polite reply will not be adequate.

We came here for dinner. The food was quite good and came out piping hot. I can recommend their spicy squid, beef soup, and vegetable plate. The outdoor seating is beautiful but may not be ideal during summer months due to intermittent rain. They have a full bar. Menus in English so you can navigate the various items offered. Don't forget to walk vanilla beach!

Overpriced for the services that they provide - including the beach front view. Here's why: NO A/C - if you're from a country like the U.S. Or somewhere relatively cold, be prepared to take the heat and humidity at full force. The hotel does NOT have A/C. Only fans. NO WIFI - yup. NO HOT WATER OPTION - The water is cold. Really cold. FOOD TASTE AND QUALITY LACKING - for the price they are asking, it's extremely lacking in taste and quality. Filipino dishes are really cheap, like $100 for breakfast. This place charges triple the price but the tastes doesn't follow the hike. It's actually the inverse and it is severely lacking. NO BUSINESS PHONE NUMBER & SLOW TO REPLY EMAIL - we needed to contact someone to help us with out heavy luggages and they only had email, which we had trouble with because of the extremely choppy internet they have in the philippines. We had a family member email them but never replied. FAR FROM MAIN ROAD AND NO BELL BOY TO CARRY LUGGAGES FOR A 15 MINUTE SAND WALK - if you're carrying a stroller luggage GOOD LUCK. the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the main road. 100 steps down a set of stairs and 10 minute walk on sand. Not even joking. It's literally an unpleasant hike. NO 24 HOUR PERSONNEL - the entire staff except the security guards leave at 10 and you're stranded till 7 a.m. GREAT VIEW, BUT DIRTY BEACH - the hotel is next to a "river" yeah.... That's not just a river. It's sewage. Don't play in the water. PRICE - for about $100 a night, i don't see where the money is going to but straight to the owner'a pockets. There's no WiFi, no A/C, no bell boy service, no telephone, no effective management, no great chef / good tasting food. The view is nice but if you're not enjoying your stay, then why would one stay here.... VIEW - it's nice, but read the previous first....
