For a "Higher End" Breakfest Restaurant the was inside an older well known San Antonio River Walk Hotel.....I've had far superior service and food quality. I would ot recommend honestly, mainly for the fact It took nearly 35 40 minutes for the food to come out, and it was just slightly above basic quality. The server was polite and the restaurant atmosphere was solid but again...would not be my first place to grab a higher end breakfast on the river walk....

Great service. The morning breakfast buffet is fantastic - especially the French toast. Our waiter also very kindly sent us off with to go cups of coffee.

I don't give a lot of 5 star reviews but this Sunday brunch is my JAM! The staff are super friendly - they take good care of you. The spread is amazing and the views are just awesome. Prime rib, shrimp, caviar, charcuterie, cheese, smoked salmon, omelets to order, fried chicken, waffles, French toast, the works. Reserve in advance and ask for a table by the windows if there's only a couple of you. The best part is that it's affordable. Less than $50. Oh btw, comes with 3 glasses of champagne..3! Can't beat it - this is a gem.

Elegant and always welcoming! James Brown, the manager is wonderful as is all the waitstaff. Food is delicious and served with big portions. You feel like royalty when you are here! Cannot wait until the breakfast brunch and breakfast buffet comes back(Covid)….the best on the Riverwalk!! Bloody Mary and Mimosas are delicious and have large shots in them… Buenos dias!!!

Las Canarias is a restaurant within the Omni Hotel on College Street. It is just behind the Majestic Theater in downtown San Antonio. It is my first time to this place for their Sunday Brunch Buffet. I do Synday brunches alot and this place ranks high up there. A lot of food choices but not too much it gets overwhelimg. Aside from the brunch staples of roast turkey, prime rib, French toast, bacon and sausages, seafood bar of fresh oysters shrimp, smoked salmon....well you get the idea they have other food choices that vary from week to week. This week they had meatballs in curry, samosas and potatoes, chicken and peas, vegetable stews. Oh did I mention they have a bananas foster bar? Mimosas are limited to three glasses. I never usually have more than 2 or 3 so this is fine with me. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Special thanks or "grazie" to Mario. Highly recommended. Price is reasonable for what you get. Will definitely come back here.

I’m not sure that I get the hype surrounding this place. The filet mignon was great, but it took too long for it to arrive. It was a bit chilly out on the patio, yet the outside gas heaters weren’t turned on until we were about to leave at 9pm. The view from the patio was nice, however. The dessert wasn’t as great as I had hoped. They stacked dirty dishes in plain sight on a counter on the patio. I’m not sure why they have to let it sit there for 15 min before bringing it to the kitchen. All in all, taking the price into account, I was expecting more from this place.

Beautiful location and outside area was amazing. Portions small and the margarita was on the expensive side $16 (wow) but I will say was the best ones I've had. And I've had a lot. *Picture is a split salad" the power salad. Vegan and Gluten free
