"Evincing a nautical but contemporary style, this open-air restaurant serves some of the best tostadas in Playa del Carmen. The signature delicacy is a crispy tortilla covered in any number of toppings, and at Las Hijas de la Tostada, expect them to be piled high with just the right blend of sauces and seafood. Try two or three, especially the camarón roca , with shrimp, eel sauce, and a drizzle of pureed chipotle, or raw options like the tostada Uxmal, with tuna and spicy salsa."

If you're on 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen, you have to make a stop at Las Hijas de la Tostadas. Food and Service was Superb. We are definitely making this spot a guaranteed stop each time we make it to 5th Avenue. Fried Tuna Tostada was unexpectedly Amazing. A must try, who knew. Octopus was well seasoned and tender, WOW. Tuna platter was Great and had a kick. Tacos were very authentic. Let's just say we ordered about Six different kinds of Tacos. We had Seven people in our group. No one left hungry.

Taco Governor Soggy and greasy tostadas, Mayo drenched on everything with sad shredded quite brown lettuce. The glasses not clean and made our drinks taste soapy and odd. Great service from helpful bartender

I ordered ceviche mixed. The plate was big, but I found a hair. I liked everything else

Excellent customer service and very delicious food. We went for lunch and the restaurant didn't disappoint. We tried the shrimp and sealed tuna tostadas. Shrimp tacos were great, along with the best dish we tried, which is the shrimp and salmon yakimeshi. The pineapple drink and pine colada were great as well. Highly recommended spot.

Food was very good, but you have to want seafood. Priced well and service was attentive. The only issue we had that is not the restaurants fault, is there was a sewer smell from somewhere on the street. Perhaps if we chose a table more off the street, it would have been better.

Its central and cheap. Worst experience though. Its cheap so dont expect good service. They always try to find an excuse to charge more, so check your bill before paying. Also be ready to get your own food as they tend to forget it at the kitchen counter. Careful when they say happy hour they’ll later find some excuse to charge you more based on some obscure excuse. Would not recommend.

Octopus and shrimp were really good, as well as the passion fruit smoothie.

Ok this place is amazing! We were craving some fresh seafood and we found their spot... Service is friendly and welcoming, our food was brought out without delays. We got the famous shrimp tostada, tuna sashimi platter, and aguachiles tostada, ALL delicious! I must mention, their name is super creative, love it! Prices are reasonable for what you get, super happy and will come back again!
