I’ve been going to this fabulous place since I was in my 20s & I’m happy to say that it’s just as wonderful now as it was back then. This time I got to see how Las Mañanitas does a wedding. My daughter & her now husband decided they could get more for less in Mexico so they close LM. Our wedding party, family & friends expressed their amazement at the beautiful grounds, the very comfortable & well appointed rooms, the delicious food, incomparable service & incredible wedding experience. My daughter & her husband & the rest of us tremendously enjoyed the actual wedding with mariachis, Mexican dancers, piñatas, fireworks & other fun things while surrounded by gorgeous floral arrangements in a tropical setting. Daniela, our wedding planner, did a great job in providing us third party vendors for all the music, makeup, etc, & our final selections really made the day one to remember. Whether it’s just a relaxing trip or a big event, you can’t go wrong with Las Mañanitas!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I have been telling my wife about this place since we were married.i ate there 40 years ago. She thought I was over hyping it but she said it was better than she imagined. The surroundings are beautiful. They seat you in one area in the gardens and take your drink order. As you are relaxing they give you a dinner menu and when you order they ask you how long you would like to sit there before moving to the dining area. Once you move to the dining area your food arrives soon after. During this whole process they do not try to rush you at all. Once you are done dining you move to another area to relax and have desert. Great service and food.

The most amazingly beautiful place I might have ever been! The service is next level! I want to go back right now. The food is very very good as well!

We came here to the restaurant for breakfast and were blown away by the luscious landscape, majestic birds, and attentive service. We arrived right upon opening (we're American) for breakfast and were immediately seated, poured cups of coffee and had our food very fast. The pan dulce was warm when it came out and the chilaquiles were some of the best I've had. You also can't beat the ambiance. The parrots talk, the peacocks prance around, and the fountains provide a sense of relaxation. If you're in the Cuernavaca area, definitely stop here for a delicious desayuno.

Just perfect. No other word to describe our experience ! From The gardens to the restaurant to the rooms to the pool and the spa. Staff very friendly an polite. We enjoyed the food so much that we did try any restaurant in Cuernava ! Why should we ? We didn ' t find the food expensive at all considering the astonishing quality. The only thing we didn ' t like at the end was to check out and give back the rooms keys .. until next time dera Mananitas.

An exceptional stay, and an ideal place. Everything very well thought and the customer service is amazing. Thank you to Roland Ramirez for being very kind and attentive. The spa treatment is the must and the surroundings are very well kept.

Google
It’s a wonderful, beautiful hotel, the staff are lovely. It’s a 5 star experience but it stays being Mexican so it’s not like one of those hotels that are blandly international. The food is great. My only moan is that when I was there there was a wedding going on that played music until after 2a.m. That kept me awake. It also appears to be near some sort of military base that seems to fire off cannons from time to time.

Lovely hotel with excellent dining. All of the staff, without exception, were warm and friendly and very professional.||Grounds are spectacular! Peacocks, pink flamingoes, parrots and a tortoise named Donatello are all part of the hotel. Peacocks are extremely noisy - even in the middle of the night - so use a white noise app if you don’t want to get woken up!

Yelp
I've been to las mañanitas a few times and I love it. Everyone is super nice and they food is good. Just be ready to wait a little especially without a reservation. They have a waiting area to have drinks and appetizers before being seated. The garden is beautiful and they have peacocks walking around the property. They are accommodating to large parties.

Yelp
We ate at the restaurant, so this review is for the restaurant only. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and worth the visit. It is truly a hidden gem in the middle of a busy city, but the sounds and hustle all drain away when you are in here. The food and service are incredible. Ordered the steak tacos, and while they look boring, they are simply perfect. The chilaquiles my wife had were fantastic and the barbacoa tacos were consumed mightily. The drinks are well overpriced, with a bottle of water being $4.50 USD whereas the conchas were only $1.50. The drinks bring up the overall price of the meal, but it is worth it.

Yelp
Loved the ambience with the peacocks and amazing gardens and flowers. Service was ok except we were served a tasteless grainy thick cream sauce with our poblano chile rellenos that was gross but they were stuffed with cheese that was ok. and when we complained the waiter said we were supposed to be offered a choice of cream sauce or tomato sauce. There was no offer to make up for the disgusting sauce. We should have sent it back. The margaritas were excellent and not too sweet. The coconut flan was excellent topped with delicious fruit. For a Relais & Chateaux establishment it was a disappointment

Yelp
(Original) I wanted to love this place, it is a beautiful location filled with natural surroundings but unfortunately my experience there was exceptionally disappointing. I was there to celebrate a relatives birthday, what should have been a delightful cocktail hour, dinner and drinks. The staff made me want to have never booked this place. They were rude and treated us in a disdainful and condescending way. I never would have expected this by the supposed caliber of this restaurant. I do not recommend spending your time or money at this establishment. There are many other beautiful places to go in this gorgeous city.

Yelp
Las Mañanitas is synonymous with Cuernavaca and this is a must-go if visiting the city. Large patio and outdoor areas to take in the delightful weather. Make for a great date or special occasion. The food was also delicious. The curry chicken was excellent and the best presentation. Definitely will return.

Yelp
Dinner here was a MUST! This is the spot where celebrities come and go. We enjoyed our dinner here. We first had drinks in the bar patio until our table was ready then, we enjoyed our dinner at a table. They are accommodating for large groups and the staff is very kind!! I loved dining here!

Yelp
I actually stayed at the hotel for a friend's wedding, but the restaurant was lovely, too. The grounds are immaculate. There are peacocks, various birds, and a random tortoise roaming around. Some parents are extremely stupid and try to prop their kids up for photos. These are wild animals, but okay. Anyway, the food and service are excellent. Some of the servers speak better English than others, but my travel Spanish is okay so this wasn't a huge issue.

Yelp
Excellent service, beautiful place with peacocks, sweet kitty in large garden with pretty fountains. delicious food (a little more salt than I like but it's good), I recommend you escargots, cow's brain in black butter, all fish are good and if you aren't Mexican, you can take the Mexican plate because you can taste many samples of Mexican dishes.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in you can feel the tranquility of a distant past settled in the beautiful gardens with the outmost hospitality. A perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon sipping on cocktails followed by lunch. We had the lamb chops which where cooked just right and the Cesar salad! It was the perfect place to enjoy with friends!

Yelp
Received cracked windshield from Valet - Owner and Management did not take responsibility After we enjoyed a nice family sunday brunch, we got our vehicle back from the valent. After getting in the vehicle and driving away, I realized that our vehicle had a crack on the windshield and drove back immediately. When we requested the management to take care of it. We were promised and even got a writen note from them that they would take care of the cracked windshield. They had the audacity to say that it was cracked when they received it. We asked for the video of the camera that is located at the entrance to prove that the crack was not there. The manager told us the OWNER directed them not to take responsibility. What a shame. Very dissappointing and extremely unprofessional.

Yelp
They have a lovely outdoors garden... but food is overrated... pricey... and to top it off... the valet damaged our car. The valet company, neither the restaurant managment solved the situation. I recommend you go somewhere else. Don't reward this awful place.

Yelp
This hotel and restaurant has the potential of bring AWESOME! They have some beautiful gardens with exotic birds walking by you! Flamingos, peacocks, toucan, etc! They have an on menu but OMG they have the slowest and most inefficient service ever! The place isn't cheap either and all the Mexican "socialite" goes there for their big Sunday dinner! It takes you ALL day to get a drink and they put you at a table supposedly when your food is ready but it is not! They leave the food in trays until everyone's food comes out so basically everything gets cold by the time the bring it to your table! Awful awful! If you want a good Mexican food experience in a beautiful setting go to Hacienda de Cortes a few miles away!

Joel C.

Yelp
A fantastic place with all the attention you would need. The place is right in the Centro. The food was perfect and the service was great. We went in the evening for a business meet, but usually lunches are better. Not because of the food but for the ambience. During the day you can see peacock's lazing around. There are other small pet animals too. The kids will have a lot off fun.

Yelp
Not a place for a gourmand. Beautiful gardens and birds but expensive for common food with fancy discription. I had a margarita not made with fresh lime and it had 2 large chunks of ice that didn't fit the glass. It had virtually no Tequilla in it and I had ask for Centenario Plata. I noticed most people drinking frozen Margaritas. Who does that anymore? It's a place to be seen but not get quality food or drink. They should have a quality Chef with high end creative Mexican Food like you find in Oaxaca or Mexico City and a bartender. I would eat there regularly instead of going to Mexico City to eat. Cuernavaca lacks decent food in general. How about Pujol or Bikko type food!!

Edgar F.

Yelp
This place is a restaurant and a hotel. I visited the restaurant and i was amazed. Apart from having a big variety in plates the place was beautiful. It had many birds flying around such as peacocks and toucans, there was flamingos as well. The food was really good although a bit pricey. Overall had a great experience with amazing view and food for a not bad price.

Carlos L.

Yelp
They have a flamingo that follows arround the live music "trio" and joins in as they sing ballads. Need I say more? I've been coming here since I was a child and chased the peacocks. Often they chased me back. The place still remains a fixture of Cuernavaca, and any Mexican family that comes to spend the weekend feels obliged to come at least once. Breakfast is better, but the candle light ambience make dinner quite an experience too. The food is a mix of traditional Mexican, french cuisine dishes and steak, along with some exotic Mexican appetizer that include ants eggs (escamoles) and maguey worms. The downside is that it recently ratcheted up it's prices significantly. The service is also very slow, so come prepared to wait.

Leslie N.

Yelp
I've eaten here several times over the years and it was always perfect. Especially the sopa azteca. But it seems they have grown complacent. The soup wasn't great and the enchiladas verdes were just ok. What a disappointment.

Valerie M.

Yelp
The environment is totally worth it. Flamingos and peacocks roaming around freely on the grounds. Food was great, sangria's were to die for. They gave us complimentary dessert which was a shot of Kahlua!

Ana P.

Yelp
Prettiest gardens!!! I want to come back and stay at the hotel. Top service. Very good food. Nice ambience. Expensive.
