I went for lunch…I got so much more. It’s all about the portion size of good food here. They bring your drink in a large mason jar. Then they bring out huge portions of food. Normally you get a smaller portion on the lunch menu, Not here! The spices could be a little more forward but I’m not really complaining. It was a tasty meal for meal and my friend. The decor is something to behold and like many of the reviews have said the music is turned up, like many of the restaurants around here. Do the locals all have hearing issues? I’m coming back wearing stretch pants and I am bringing more people with big appetites.

Atmosphere was authentic. Food was hot and flavorful!!! Nice sized portions. Staff is friendly and came to my table several times. No complaints at all. New music playing in the background but not too loud. The plus was that the sprite doesn’t have that tap water taste…nice and crisp!

My friend and I are in town for GalaxyCon and decided to give this little place a shot and while the food was mostly beautiful and delicious the sope in my Huarache was absolutely rock hard and stale! So hard that I tried to bite into it and broke off a tooth! When I tried to tell the server what had happened and what was wrong he just basically ignored me, we sat there and waited almost 30 minutes after we finished eating for them to bring the check or even ask if we wanted refills. I definitely will not be returning.

Google
BE AWARE! THEY ADD A TIP TO YOUR TICKET without even asking you. Loud music you can't even hear the person next to you or the waitress. The tacos de canasta are disgusting, don't get them 🤮

Had dinner unexpectedly there tonight and it was amazing food. It was hot and delicious, server was attentive and sweet. I had birria tacos and they were perfection. My husband got the Acp portion size was perfect for what we paid for. Karaoke was loud but beautiful even with a birthday party there it was great atmosphere and joyful. Would recommend if you can handle loud singing while eating. Will definitely be going back soon 💜

Las Marias is one of my favorite karaoke places to visit. The owner is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is authentic and refreshing. The food is tasty and delicious. Every dish is cooked using fresh ingredients, herbs, spices and meat. 🥩 The tilapia is one of my favorite dishes. It’s very fresh and tender. It’s cooked perfectly and served with rice, beans, and salad. Every visit, I enjoy live music at Las Marias.🎶 It’s always very entertaining and sometimes romantic.❤️💯 In addition, majority of the servers only speak Spanish. I always struggle to order my food the way I want unfortunately. To solve this issue, I advise using your phone to translate. It worked well for me. Overall, great dining experience! 🙏🏻

This is the best Mexican restaurant outside of California. In fact, it’s better than all the Mexican restaraunts in Southern California. I ordered an Enchilada Suiza and a Chile Relleno with rice and beans. The Enchilada was the best I ever had. The Chile Relleno was very tasty although a bit spicy. The rice was flavorful and moist, the beans smooth and creamy. Excellent wait staff and festive atmosphere. I learned back in 2018 that the owners are from Long Beach CA. No wonder why I love this place. I left this area and only recently returned, and couldn’t remember where it was located or the name. I was concerned that the Pandemic would’ve wiped this restaurant out. But to my surprise I found it today. It’s under the same ownership. This is a must for any Californians missing the flavors of home.

Google
Everything is delicious. I don’t have pics to f the pupusas but they are fresh and amazing! Weekends they have karaoke, the atmosphere is great! The margaritas are the bomb! So far Jamaica is my favorite margarita and the pupusa revuelta with the pork bean and cheese is my favorite meal.

Yelp
Kinda pricy but big portions and actually really good authentic food I'm 100% coming back

I was so upset that my boyfriend wanted to stop here and all the employees was NOT WELCOMING . very rude and sizin you up as if they where racist ! I highly recommend to keep driving past this place .

Yelp
YES, YES, YES‼ New to the area and asked one of my contractors where to find menudo - he gave me this place and I AM BLOWN AWAY! Stopped on the way from a medical appointment and so glad I did - I will definitely return soon for an eat-in experience. But for now, just let me say: 1) DELICIOSO‼‼ 2) Excellent ambience and service. 3) The tripe taco knocked me sideways it was so damn tasty! I feverishly consumed it before taking a pic, although this post pic gives you an idea of the food served here - with ALL the trimmings! Be on the for a more complete review after my upcoming dine-in experience!

Kwame M.

Yelp
The tacos were plain as ever with half of the meat being too fatty to chew , Tamales were wrapped in some kind of stank banana leafy thing and tamales was filled with potatoes and a big carrot . Plain as ever rice . Salsa was terrible and ladies were more concerned with their gossip conversation than customer service and a few mugged me as said bye when I left . Cool designs on the chairs and tables .

Yelp
Shit was ass, expensive, and bland, shrimp were old and mushy when we asked for new ones the new plate had a hair don't waste your money here guac was under seasoned was really only avocado(packaged avocado), the place is nice but that don't matter if the food isn't Waitresses made us fell rushed with some negative facial expressions. 5/10 felt judged to ask for things

Yelp
This is a Mexican restaurant serving a primarily Latino clientele. It's important to remember that. Despite being whiter than white and having only minimally functional high school Spanish I have never felt less than welcome or accommodated here. The menu has Tex-Mex, Honduran, and Salvadoran sections but the bulk is primarily Mexican. Not taco truck Mexican, but actual plates of meat or seafood. And those plates are very large. Seriously, I've served whole turkeys on platters the size of what I received and yes, the leftovers made for additional meals. Oh, and the drinks and snacks menu? The small margaritas and micheladas are BIG. I hate to think how large the grandes must be. The food is consistently good. The rice does not have freezer burned peas and carrots and the beans are so tasty they must be made with lard. Tortillas appear to be house-made and they have free refills on the aguas frescas. My server, who did not speak English, made sure to call over a server who did when my Spanish failed. The restaurant is loud, colorful, and cheerful. It can get a little too loud, especially on weekend nights when there's a DJ. It is very much a family friendly place but also good for a few beers after work or a girls' night out. Pro tip: Ask for the salsa verde with your chips. It's especially good.

Yelp
Everyone was very nice and food was great. Service was also very quick! Went inside to place a togo order and was ready in 6 mins.
google avatar

Yelp
From the moment I open the door to the moment I left, it was clear I wasn't welcome there. I think it had to do with the lack of pigment in my skin. I am from LA , I deal with diverse cultures on a daily basis, personal life and professional life. I have never been made to feel so out of place. The server could barely speak English, but I don't care about that -like I said, I live in Los Angeles . What a pure blatant attitude of the staff towards me because I don't speak their language. Are you kidding me? ? As far as the food, Ive had way better in LA. I'm here in this area because I opened a restaurant myself, this placed just showed me how to never treat a guest . Best advertisement is word of mouth, and you will never ever get a recommendation from me. As far as I'm concerned this place has a little attitude toward those of us of with white skin. . Sad .

Aysha H.

Yelp
Shit was ass they are blatantly RACIST!!!, and the food was unseasoned as well as bland basic. I ordered a burrito norteno which is making my stomach do backflips I went with my boyfriend who speaks Spanish and the servers only spoke to him with their back turned to me barely acknowledging me. Though do have some good aspects but not enough for me to come back.

Yelp
The DECOR in here is amazing!!! Love it! Such a cute little place! It's definitely authentic Mexican food! And very delicious and good! The portions are huge! They give you complimentary chips with 3 different salsas which are Spicy!!! Lol The tacos were good..the beef was better than the chicken as the chicken was bland. Want my husband had, as you see in the pictures, was very very good!! It was delicious! We will definitely be coming back here!'

Yelp
Great food, really enjoyed the atmosphere they had live music and great service! I recommend the sopes de asada!

Yelp
If you're up for some Mexican and Central-American eats, Las Marias Tacos y Pupusas should fit the bill! This authentic eatery off of Wake Forest Road is doing a lot of things right. Bright and cheery dining room, check. Great and prompt service, check. Authentic Latin-American eats ranging from tacos, burritos and much more, check. Reasonable prices, check. You really can't go wrong eating here, I've done their tacos, carnitas plates and more, the portions are substantial and great home cooking! If you go at night, enjoy a beer or margarita with your meal, nice! And from what I understand, they sometimes have a mariachi band or live music on the weekends. Las Marias is not for everyone. If you're looking for an Americanized Mexican option, you may not enjoy this place. But if you appreciate delicious, authentic Latin American eats, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem next to Wal*mart!
google avatar

Makayla C.

Yelp
Been here a few times and its become one of my favorite spots!! The pupusas are delicious and the margaritas are big and yummy. I tried the pulled pork this time, which came with rice and tortillas. The portion was HUGE. The sauce on the pork was amazing, I really enjoyed my meal. I've also tried the chimichangas from here, which are great. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have live music/karaoke around 8ish and it's SUPER loud, so be prepared if you go then. No complaints, I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh man I just found a real gem! I was just looking for a taco. Fast food taco. I will be back. This is even before noon with all this music going on! People working there are beautiful and kind as well. Wow! I had ceviche! This was all 10 bucks. Grapefruit really does it! Update: Aaaand...went back and got the chicken mole enchilada and a single Chile Relleno. They were both really really, like Miss Maria made them herself for her family. I have amazing looking drinks too. When I walked in the second time they were already cleaning up from lunch and everything smelled like lemons and you could see all the cleaning stuff right in the front walking into the kitchen. Oh and all the plants! Somebody personally loves plants because these aren't just thrown around. You can tell they've been there for a while with a lot of stuff in them and nothing is dusty. Tons of plants on the outside too. I wish I could be a restaurant reviewer. They do a good job with the masks thing too. I have videos of the ceviche.Chorizo

Yelp
We ordered takeout here twice. First time, we were four beers in and it tasted delicious. Second time, only two beers in and it was just as good. We've been to many Mexican restaurants and this one tasted the most authentic. Yes, we had some beers and perhaps it was the fact that we were enjoying it from our backyard but the pupusas were delicious, the shrimp a'Diablo was nice and spicy (spicier when we only had two beers haha!) and the Camerones Rancheros seemed like a less spicy option to my white a$$. The corn tortillas were fresh. The rice was moist. Sorry, some people hate that word lol. The chips may or may not be homemade yet were yummy. Sorry, not a chip professional here yet too many of them helped me gain 20 pounds. All in all, we'd definitely order again, and suggest you do too especially after a few beers. You won't regret it!
google avatar

Dee B.

Yelp
Tamales are HUGE! Each tamale is filling enough for a complete meal, for one person. Sopas are delicious. Prices are great. I will eat here again soon.
google avatar

Shavonne H.

Yelp
So I've only been here twice. The first time I loved the food and had a great experience overall. It's been a while so I can't remember what I had to eat. A friend and I were just driving around one random night and we stumbled upon the restaurant. It's in a small shopping center across from the Walmart on New Hope Church Rd. There is parking for the shopping center. I was impressed with the menu choices and the food itself. It definitely felt authentic. I went again about 2 weeks ago and my experience wasn't as great as the first time (which is why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars). The service wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't good. Our server wasn't as attentive to us as she should have been. My water was never refilled and we ended up having to stop another server in the restaurant at one point to get a refill on our chips. We had salsa, but we also order bean dip and choriqueso so we went through our chips quite fast. I will say the portions are HUGE. I got the grilled chicken nachos and it was so large. I ate off of them for a total of 3 meals. The food was very delicious. My only complaint about the nachos is that they were served in a large bowl with a mountain of toppings so it was hard to actually get to the chips. It would probably be better for them to serve this dish on a platter to more evenly distribute the toppings. I will definitely be back to try some more food options and hopefully have a better service experience.
google avatar

Phillip R.

Yelp
Came with friends and the service was great but the pupusas were just okay... some of the people in our group through food was just a little too over seasoned and oversized for a lunch portion so most did not finish their meal. I don't frequent Mexican restaurants but some of the people in our group were very happy and said it's some of the best in the area. Will return to try a Mexican dish next time. It's a small place so it could easily be crowded for dinner.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant two times with coworkers for a lunch. It's by far my favorite Hispanic restaurant I've ever been too. It's not Hispanic/American. It's a real authentic Hispanic restaurant. The service is amazing. The workers are so kind and helpful and ensure you have a wonderful experience. The overall vibe of the restaurant is very happy and joyful. Great Hispanic tunes are playing and I jam out the whole time while enjoying my meal. Both times I have gone I've had house made chips and salsa and queso. It is so so so so so good. I could sit there for hours and just have that. Both times I've also went I've ordered 3 pupusas with rice and beans. It is absolutely delicious. The pupusas come out piping hot and I cut them and wrapped the cabbage in them then dipped them in the tomato sauce. I highly recommend. Nonetheless if you're looking for a great place to eat come to this restaurant. You will leave satisfied. I don't know how this restaurant doesn't have 5 stars. I read the review about paying with cash. Both times I've paid with card. I will most definitely be back because this place is amazing and I will pay with cash so I can confirm or deny that review.
google avatar

Athena N.

Yelp
The menu extensive and the clientele mostly Mexican themselves ( which means you're in for some really good food!) staff were attentive and friendly, the prices were very reasonable and the the margaritas were delicious. Then the food came and OH MY GOD!!! You will not be sorry! This place is truly amazing!

Jessie M.

Yelp
For me being hispanic, i give places the benefit of the doubt when reading reviews. But if you have come across all the bad service reviews like myself (after going) believe them. The waitress was rude not only to me but to my girlfriend as soon as we walked in. Food came in large portions which is/would be nice if it was good and actually worth the prices. The music is extremely loud for like three parties in the place. They seem to greet/ tend to their regulars sooo much better than first timers or people they don't know. we felt like we shouldn't be there from the start and my girlfriend asked to leave but I persisted we stay and just try it out. But never again will we come here to waste money, time, and honestly end up upset by the terrible attitude their workers have (again if you're not a regular).
google avatar

Jim P.

Yelp
Great place, great food. Very busy so arrive early. I had their lingua, cabeza and chicken tacos as well as a big bottle dark Corona Beer. My wife had a margarita and a taco salad. It was all delicious. Once we got seated our waitress helped us quickly and our food was served fast and hot. We will be back again soon.
google avatar

Jeff F.

Yelp
I had never heard of this restaurant but some co-workers wanted to go here for lunch. The dining are is really large and they accommodated our small group easily. I ordered the lunch burrito, and was annoyed how long it took to get my food. It was about 20 minutes, and they didn't bring all our food at once, one person would get theirs, then 5 minutes later another plate would come. It was odd. The burrito was ok but the pork was kinda dry, and it was on the smaller side of what I've had for lunch burritos at other places. But a couple of my coworkers got the quesadillas and they looked amazing and will be what I order if I go back, which I plan to do.
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Love love love this place! I heard about their Papusas from a friend and had to go. I ordered a variety of papusas and each one was better than the next. I've had a bunch of different entrees from here too and all were delicious. The menu is pretty large so it takes some time to figure out what you want, but so far, I haven't ordered anything I didn't like.

Gerardo L.

Yelp
Be careful with your change when you pay in cash, they don't return your change completely, even though you leave tip at the table they steal your money in front of you.
google avatar

Vic W.

Yelp
Wow! I was too hungry to take a picture but believe me that your portion size is incredibly decent and filling. I typically HATE Queso but... this place here... I am a BELIEVER. I went in at about 12 noon and it was pleasantly crowded yet clean. And I got my food in 13 minutes. I will be back again and again for sure. Cool part is that you can also get your hair done next door at Maritza's salon. Now for the ladies and gents who are familiar with the Dominican Hair places in NYC, this is the same. But I will review them on their business site. I digress, Las Marias is truly tasty and worth a try. I had help with my menu since my Spanish is lacking. The pictures on the menu did help. I ordered 2, 3, 8, and 15. I will update once all has been eaten. I can say #15 was a perfect 10 so far. Stay tuned. It is 2:33pm ET.
google avatar

Tiffany B.

Yelp
So I came here after getting my hair done next door to grab lunch and am very dissatisfied with my service (I'm writing as I sit here.) I'm wondering if my service was attributed to the fact that I do not look like anyone here but that's besides the point.) I stood at the door for about 7 mins before someone even acknowledged me. When I finally was greeted I was brought to the table . I sat for about 15 mins before someone came to get my order. I placed an order for a pineapple margarita "frozen" and a mixed meat quesadilla. About another 10 mins later a lady came an pretty much threw my chips and salsa on the table to the point the chips fell off the plate. My drink arrived first and it was a watered down and "on the rocks" pineapple margarita with no alcohol in it. My order came about 5-10 mins later as a flaming fajita NOT a quesadilla. I do not like fajita tortillas so i would have never ordered that but it looked good so i just kept it as I didn't want anyone to do anything to my food ( definitely the vibe I was getting). I ate it in hopes that it would be ok just to eat the meat and unfortunately it was TERRIBLE! There was NO seasoning at all in it. It was extremely bland! I wasn't even in the middle of my meal when the waitress came and put the check on my table with the urgency for me to leave. As a i looked around no one else's service was like this but then again I didn't look like the crowd in the place ( trust me I had time to look around bc everything took so long) Needless to say total disappointment and will never visit again !
google avatar

Jbw 7.

Yelp
I have visited this place a few times, this time i got Pupusas, is a good place to eat, the only thing that I don't like about is that the music is too loud, don't get me wrong love the music but you have to almost scream when you talking. Service is good sometimes you have to get the attention of the waitress but is good.
google avatar

Saumya P.

Yelp
This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. It's bigger on the inside than you expect, has cheery decor, great food, excellent prices, and fast service. Our waitress checked in on us just the right number of times, and everyone was very friendly. Now about the food: I'm fairly certain these are the best tacos I've had in the Raleigh area. The meat wasn't overcooked in any of them- we tried four different kinds, and everything was delicious, and different. They have many options that I haven't seen at other restaurants. We didn't try the cabeza, tripe or lengua tacos- next time. The carne asada, cecina, and pollo al carbon were really good but the al pastor was our favourite. We also had a loroco pupusa, which was delicious. The curtido dressing came in a separate litlte bowl, not all mixed in, which was nice. The tacos came with parsley, chopped onion, cactus and lime. They have plenty of interesting looking things on the menu, and I hope to go back and try more of them. Drinks: Very reasonably priced. A medium margarita costs $4 dollars and a huge draft beer costs $6. They have plenty of options.
google avatar

Alyssa C.

Yelp
This is my second time coming to this restaurant. The first time was amazing and due to how authentic the food taste I returned. Last night the food was amazing but the service was awful. Our waitress rarely checked in on us and when she did we had to keep asking for the same thing. We asked for more salsa at least 3 times before we got any. When we needed more chips we had to ask another waitress. It was a busy Saturday evening but chips and salsa are a basic so we were surprised we had to keep asking. Since the food was so good I plan to give them another chance. The choriqueso dip is delicious and the fajita quesadilla did not dis appoint!
google avatar

Raul B.

Yelp
Great place if you're Honduras or Salvadorian. But if your Mexican don't come here. They single you out, don't bother
google avatar

Thomas M.

Yelp
Amazing! Margaritas were delicious and definitely not missing alcohol. One of the few restaurants that have tamales and they were actually good! We have been looking for a great mexican restaurant and finally found it! My girlfriend and I will definitely be going back - regularly.
google avatar

Bry M.

Yelp
Authentic as it comes and a great mariachi band?!? You got that right...do yourself a favor and check this spot out! Menu is in both English and Spanish so that was a good sign when we sat down for dinner last week. My colleagues and I started with queso and drinks...everything was great! I ordered several tacos and tostadas which were all presented very nice. They serve them with radish, picked veggies & a delicious sauce. Next time I'll skip the pescado ceviche tostada as it didn't seem fresh made in my opinion but beyond that service and food were on point!
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
My family and I have been in this location many, many times, but today service was horrible! Waitress not all there, very forgetful and only once she checked on us. Empty glasses of waters and sodas. To get our check it was like a sure 15 minutes. Then she forgot to ring up the drinks. Quality of the food was mediocre at this time.
google avatar

Tanith T.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong, the food is good. Very good, even. But there's a few downsides to the place that bear mentioning. For starters, if you have any kind of food allergy, don't eat here. It's not safe, especially if you don't speak Spanish. The staff will either not understand you when you explain that something will make you very ill, or someone who didn't hear you or doesn't care will put that in the mix anyhow. After explaining in great detail how my face would swell up and I would be in a lot of pain if they put what I was allergic to in my food, they did that thing. Twice in a row, even. Seriously, just don't risk it. I did and I wish I hadn't. If you arrive during dinner hours, be prepared for epic noise levels, and by epic I mean you might as well be sitting next to the runway at the airport. They amp their live mariachi singers up to volumes that would put a death metal concert to shame. And they have live mariachi singers regularly, as well as other live entertainment that may or may not be to everyone's taste. But regardless of whether you like it or not, you will be listening to it at ridiculously high volume. Did I mention the food was good? It really is, and a fair value for the price, with generous portions. Unfortunately the downsides are significant enough that I can't recommend the place without warning folks. You may be subject to an unexpected side order of incredibly loud music or food you're allergic to. Or both at the same time. That was not fun. I will not be returning for any more of that. If you don't mind having your eardrums blown out and you have no food allergies, by all means give them a try.

Yelp
The most authentic mexican food I've had in the Triangle. Service is amazing and fast while also really fresh. The decor is super pleasant and homey- I legit felt like I was in Mexico. Such a hole in the wall and will definitely recommend!
google avatar

Kierra S.

Yelp
So delicious! Very authentic. Some of the best mole I've had. I will be frequenting here. They also are open 24 hours on weekends and have karaoke. Looking forward to coming back with friends and having a fun night out of good food and good people.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Loved this place! Food and ambiance was wonderful. They had mariachis tonight and it made for a great dinner experience. Waitress and employees were very nice. This will be our new go-to dinner restaurant! They have Mexican, Honduran, Salvadorean, pretty much lots of great choices! Try the azada taco and pupusas revuelta combo!!

Yelp
It took 20 minutes for my family and I to be seated and we get horrible customer service! I've never been here however my family has and since I came to visit they brought me but I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Top it off the manager took our order! I tried telling him and said "I got you down for quesadilla de fajita" I ordered PUPOSA MIXTA I understand it sounds the same but if the music wasn't ridiculously loud and if he would repeat the order he would have heard me!!!! ugghhhh I was really looking forward to a good night and "authentic Mexican food" for this b.s I would have ate at home! Excuse my langurs please understand the frustration! ‍
google avatar

Mayra H.

Yelp
BAD SERVICE!!!!! This was the worst experience ever, the food was cold and dry. it was tremendously LOUD due to "karaoke", we asked if they could lower the sound, it was a party of 8 and two kids, we couldn't communicate to one another due to the karaoke, the server had the worst attitude, Bunch of drunk people not even singing just screaming loud on the mic. Couldn't enjoy a Sunday evening with the family and friends. Please don't go eat here specially on a Sunday. It was defiantly not worth the money ! 0 STARS !
google avatar

Yelp
This place has most of the most authentic tacos al pastor and goat soup (birria) I travel around looking for the best taco al pastor and this place made my all-time top 10 list! A must try!

Yelp
This place has good food. I went to eat on July 13 2020,at around 4 pm and I arrived and they did not have many customers and you could see that they were taking precautions from a healthy distance due to the problem of the COVID so everything was fine... minutes later I only saw that they were arriving customers and began to sit without any precaution from a healthy distance , that's not right because of health problems and North Carolina law say it .., the truth is this restaurant is a health risk.., and the waitresses have mouth covers and only have their mouths covered and not their noses ... ,, a waiter name I think jaiko or something like that does not even cover their mouths and that's the way it is all restaurant ,,, that restaurant right now is an infection bomb .., is not being aware of what is happening .., a lot of people are dying for people like you ,,, who don't take care of themselves and don't take care of their customers ... please take a little stricter measures for yours employees ... this is not a game !!! Thx ...

Hands down best Mexican food I've ever had. The portions are HUGE! THE salsas are amazing. Even my 7 year old daughter thinks the food is anazing. Chile Rellenos are absolutely amazing.

Yelp
Amazingly good and authentic Mexican food! I was blown away by the range of thier menu from tacos to mole enchiladas. The staff was friendly and helpful also. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
A nice black hair greeted us at our table, the Mariachis were way too loud and would not leave, so much for a nice dinner with family. We couldn't talk to each other because it was so loud. The Chili Relleno was cold in the middle and probably made the day before. The only reason it's getting one star is because of the corn tortillas that were pretty good. Could have gotten better "Mexican" food at Taco Bell.

Yelp
The most Racist restaurant I have ever been to . Nobody wanted to attend to me but attended to other people . I ask about my food 4 waitress looked at me and ignore me like I was a ghost . If you black or other color don't go there . Where do I even begin . This is the worst place ever . The food is mediocre. Don't even call and pick up your food . Waited 30 plus min for a pick up order I had called in 20 min prior. Save your self and headache and go somewhere else .

Yelp
Such good food. IMO it's tough to compete with TexAs Mexican food (even better than food in Mexico!!! Hehe) but this place does compete and really has AMAZING food. Definitely the best in the surrounding states area. Check it out for SURE!!!

Yelp
We used to be regulars several years back during this place's previous incarnation. We decided to make a comeback only to find out it had changed hands. The atmosphere is every bit as colorful and comfortable as I remember and the service is great. They start you out with the usual tortillas with salsa. The tortillas were nice but the salsa was a bit bland. They also provide sliced cukes with spices and lime. It was a nice twist. The menu now has lots more dinner plates. I was tempted to go with a sampling of sopes, tamales, etc. but we both went with one of our standards... chilaquiles with chicken and green salsa. They were light on tortillas and green salsa, loaded with some sort of cheese, and generally bland. It came with a small salad, rice and beans. The plate was huge. But it was way too heavy on the cheese and way too bland. This place has a fun vibe and great service but the food didn't do it for me.
