We were told that this place is no longer as good as it used to be but we enjoyed it. We came in for breakfast, the place was empty but it looked like they were getting ready for the big lunch crowds. We both enjoyed our breakfast (except the coffee which was instant) and we left satisfied.

On our long trip in Mexico, this was the best dining experience! The food was delicious, and they prepared amazing cocktails. You will get really good quality food and drinks for the value. We were very happy with the service as well, and they even rewarded us with an extra dessert. It is absolutely fantastic overall, and we recommend everyone stopping by on your way to Chichen Itza or place else.

Great place, simple not fancy but they deliver what they promise. Food is great, local atmosphere the real deal if you want to experience the locals. Not a big hotel chain fancy deal.

This is a large, popular restaurant that serves amazing food! The breakfast menu looked great, but we opted for lunch. I had the Queso Relleno, which turned out to be a "sort-of" soup that was delicious. My daughter had chicken tacos, and I don't remember what the guys had, but we all enjoyed our food. As a side note, the bathrooms were VERY nice in comparison to other restaurants we have visited. I would give this restaurant a 4.5!

One of the nicest places in town. We wanted to try local food and this place delivered. We started with some delicious sope especial, lima soup, and crema de chaya. All of them were so good and came very quickly. Then we ordered puerco pibil, steak and a special burger from the kid menu. All good and highly recommended.

If you're looking for the most comprehensive Yucatan heritage menu, you MUST go to Las Mestizas. The staff was amazingly friendly, letting us dine even though we were the only people around close to closing time. The food was fresh, so flavorful, and a steal for the price. Overall an amazing spot for those looking to visit Chichen Itza
