If I could give 10 stars, I would do it. The service here has been, well, amazing. The staff have been incredibly gracious, helpful and kind. We arrived after the front desk had closed. So we were greeted in the driveway and escorted directly to our room, with the understanding we would check in at the reception desk in the morning. We had no sooner shut the door when we got another knock. The restaurant closes at 8; would we like dinner? Yes!! The gentlemen took our order and said he would put in our order before the kitchen closes. When we got to the restaurant, it was already close to closing, but we were never hurried by anyone. We enjoyed a lovely pasta dinner. The following morning, we met Carlos at the front desk. He got us signed in and when we asked for restaurant recommendations he did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, he called the restaurant we had chosen and made our reservations for us. He also ordered a taxi for us. When we got back from dinner, it was well after dark so we were escorted to our room by a gentleman with a flashlight. We have been incredibly well cared for. This property is lush and beautiful and our room is very swanky, clean and comes with an awesome view of the ocean. As nice as this place is (and it IS beautiful), it would not have been the same excellent stay if it weren't for the people who work here. Just one thing we didn't know and would pass along. The front desk service is not 24 hours. But don't worry. You will be safe, comfy and well taken care of.

The room was 2, hotel and service 4, restaurant 3 for an average of 3. |Im sure there are nice rooms. Ours, A1, was a one bedroom beachfront. ||Problems- we were right next to construction site; at noon and breaks workmen congregated around area next to our “Private beach”, since it was the only place with shade. The privacy hedge had holes where we could look right at them. Right next to our outdoor shower. I finally took a cushion and blocked the nearest hole for privacy. |The “private beach” was actually more mud than sand. Each morning the outdoor pool would overflow and run into the yard (and water dripped from the unit above) to make the yard muddy. |The area itself was nice, the beach palapas were shady, the units well designed and beautiful. |The restaurant was about 30 percent priced too high. The breakfast was good , the fish we had in the evening was not good. Guacamole was not good, if that can be believed. The presentation of the food was beautiful. Service was good. There are a couple of other restaurants a thirty minute walk away but they all close at 6:30 PM. Take the bus down and walk the beach back. Any other taxi service was 400-500 pesos to Zihua etc. |I think the villas have two management divisions, one for the owners and one for renters. I asked to be moved away from the construction and complained about the workers gathering in an email to the person i had made the reservation with but never got any response The one bedroom next to us was empty the whole time but no one ever responded or commented on my request or complaints so I just gave up after two days. |Francesco at the front desk was very helpful. He was not there the first days. We never asked him to move because by the time he was working it was too late and not worth the added effort for just one night. |The area is very remote compared to places in Zihuatenajo. But very quiet and the wave sounds are wonderful. |Do not get A1 is my advice

First time in Zihua. The villa is remote but we enjoyed the peace and quiet (and the sound of the waves breaking in the ocean). We were in room A3 which was beautiful and a few rooms away from the contruction happening next door so we really didn't hear much of that noise. Only one restaurant had pretty good food. Ivan and Isacc from the restaurant were attentive. Always love fresh coconut from the trees. Carlos at the front desk was helpful.

This was our first visit to Zihuatanejo. When we first entered the grounds, we noticed how immaculate they were. The villa nearly took our breath away. It was perfect for our family! The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were always making sure everything was to our satisfaction. We felt extremely safe at the resort. We will highly recommend this place to family and friends! We hope to return again to this outstanding oasis!

2021 was our 2nd stay at Las Palmas. This time, we had a two bedroom suite which was on the 2nd floor. Beautiful view. I love it here because it is so quiet and relaxing. When you first arrive on your vacation, it is the perfect way to unwind. Great food and the staff are friendly. Take a little day trip to Barra di Potosi and have lunch on the beach. Not a place for swimming in the ocean due to the strong undertows....but, there are two pools! Sit back, relax, and listen to the waves.

We got treated like royalty at Las Palmas Luxury Villas. All the staff are wonderful folks and work really hard and we truly appreciate them. The onsite restaurant is wonderful. The main pools are gorgeous as well as a mini pool in each villa. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Even after we checked out and headed to the airport. We had some paperwork issues with customs and had to stay an additional day. We went back and they allowed us to stay an additional day. We are very thankful for the management team there.

This February my family spent a fantastic 10 days at Las Palmas.||||Las Palmas in my opinion is a destination to unwind and relax - Do not expect nightlife activities or stepping outside the complex to find some local flavor - The location is perfectly isolated so you may enjoy your lodging, the pools and the pristine beach.||||As advertised getting to Los Palmas is a quick 8 minutes from the Zihuatanejo airport.||||Details of our stay||||We stayed in unit B6 a 3B/3Ba||Check in was a breeze.||||The unit was pristine and the daily cleaning service was prompt and thorough.||An added bonus was having the secondary pool right outside our front door in case we got tired of hanging out in our plunge pool & deck.||||The one food outlet is adequate and with enough notice they are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions as well as special menu requests.||In my opinion the pricing was in line with the rest of the resorts cost structure.||All food & beverage pricing included tip.||||The service was good, at the beach, at the pool, to your room.||||The caveat is that there is no resort phone service so off hours one has to visit the beach club to order. - the items will then be taken to any location.||||Additionally as our unit had a full kitchen the resort facilitates a local "instacart" like shopping service for food & beverage items we needed during our stay - Take advantage of it !||||The one issue we had during our stay was the somewhat spotty availability of food & beverage items. Without going into details It is only fair to expect that if an item is on the menu one is able to order it. One day out is OK however 2 is not. ||Change the menu !||Same goes for the sole dessert selection - More variety please.||Additionally it is not OK to run out of 2 types of beer and and the sole 2 white wine options. - We are at the beach no less !||||Having said that we were always offered options and were mostly satisfied with what we were served.||||I would recommend Las Palmas without any reservations and hope to make it down there again in the near future.
