Las Terrazas Resort & Residences

Came for the day to eat and use the pool. It’s hard to find resorts open to the public during the holidays and we were grateful. The pool and beach area are lovely. Music is fun. Service was excellent. The food was really good, I highly recommend the spicy chicken burger, BEST chicken burger I’ve ever had honestly. Lovely resort! Thank you!

My girlfriends and I stayed here last week and we definitely had an interesting stay. The staff was SO friendly. We knew almost everyone by name when we left. The pool area is beautiful but beach was covered in sargassum while we were there and the dock had uneven boards, so the ocean area wasn’t as inviting as the pool. Our 3-bedroom garden view villa was perfect for 6 of us and had a view of the ocean and was steps from the pool. Unfortunately because of the recent rain and elevated water table, we had issues flushing the toilets and one did overflow. The main water pipe to our building also burst one day and we were asked to use another villa to take showers one night. The resort did provide us with a bottle of wine as an apology. The last two days they also were doing loud construction work during the day, which we weren’t warned about. ||Definitely take advantage of the lunch happy hour…that was a bonus. O Restaurant had amazing food and we got to watch a fire dance show while we dined by the pool one night. ||Overall, we laughed through the plumbing issues and enjoyed the nice aspects of the resort. It was a memorable stay!

The property is very nice, intimate with every amenity. The restaurant on site offered delicious food and Karla provided wonderful service. We were especially grateful to Raquel and Joelle, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Whether we wanted to do reef fishing, rent, golf carts, or just explore around town you really got a local field while coming back to the hotel to an authentic space. We got there before the hustle bustle of Christmas and think the overall value was perfect. Be sure to bring bug spray like any tropical environment and note to check out secret beach access accessible through golf Carts.

Stayed 5 days as a family of 5 and loved it. The 3-bedroom apartment was very spacious and newly remodeled. The quality of the food was great for every meal. We arranged the activities through the hotel and everything worked really smoothly. The service was super friendly and detailed oriented by the reception staff, restaurant attendants and especially Joel who took care of our every need. Only negative experience was our interaction with Byron the manager when we realized a mistake in our golf cart rental. He was rude, dismissive and didn’t even attempt to understand the issue or find a solution. At least the rest of the staff made up for it. I would love to come back to this place, but hopefully not see him there again.

I just returned from 10 days at the Las Terrazas Resort in San Pedro, Belize. I began planning my destination wedding in January of 2025, and I am so very thankful I chose Las Terrazas as the place to host it. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! From the very beginning stages, Ashley, the wedding coordinator and Nelson, the reservation specialist, made everything easy and so well organized! We managed to get 36 people, most who had never traveled very far, on to a small island for a wedding! All without any hiccups!! Once there, the entire staff was exceptional. Flor, Alex, Raquel, Beverly, Elias, Edgar, Jefeth, Joe, Steven, Karla, Grisella, Mayra and I know others that I am forgetting to mention, went above and beyond, not just for me, but for all my guests. The service and attention were impeccable. The wedding was beautifully arranged on the beach. The flowers were extraordinary. The cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were amazing and my guests could not stop talking about the dinner reception. The food was absolutely delicious. |The rooms are very large, clean and with all the amenities. Most everyone received an upgrade without asking! The grounds are very well maintained and landscaped. I cannot say enough about what an amazing wedding we had and an absolutely great stay we had at Las Terrazas Resort. We will definitely be back!!

Everything about our stay was amazing – from the stunning views and delicious food to the fun activities and friendly atmosphere. The glass kayaks, fresh rooms, and great pool made it even better! Huge thanks to Edgardo for the best dining experience, amazing Caesar salad, the most delicious salt-baked fish, and an unforgettable fire show! Also thanks to Nigel and Peter for their great service, drinks, and local tips, and to Karim for all the help with the golf cart. Truly a 10/10 stay, this place has it all!

We just arrived today and were greeted and very attentive. We had dinner tonight and the food was amazing, Edwin made an amazing Cesar salad, in addition to giving us some history behind the creation the Cesar salad. Since it was a holiday here they were celebrating garifuna settlement day and we had so entertainment and to our surprise Edwin was part of the entertainment with his fire dance which the kids really enjoyed. So we are having a wonderful time.

Our luck that they had very noisy pumps running to suck sand from the ocean to the beach every day. Not even Sunday off. 70dBA at out patio. Very expensive restaurant. $45 usd for a not very good seafood soup was also a disappointment. Big rooms and got a nice upgrade to a large 3 bed room. Staff very attentive. Very safe area.
