Wow I have no words to even describe what an amazing time I had at Las Terrazas! Everyone was so friendly from the moment I got to the island to the moment I left. The food was amazing, drinks were so good and the vibes were just perfect. The staff is honestly the best part of this resort, as they are all such wonderful & beautiful people. I just left today and I’m already planning on coming back really soon. Las Terrazas is now my home away from home ❤️

Chef Alex delivered culinary excellence every single day — every dish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. He took the time to check in with us personally, and his passion for food truly shines.||The servers Wendy, Nigel, Steve, Beverly and Karla were exceptional. Their service went far beyond the basics — they were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience unforgettable. Whether it was a special request, a recommendation, or just their friendly smiles, they made every moment feel personalized and meaningful.||Las Terrazas is a beautiful place, but it’s the people who make it truly special. We are so grateful for the care and attention we received. We can’t wait to come back!

Me and my girlfriends went for a five days vacation, we got welcomed very well and part of the staff was extremely nice, especially Beverly, Karla and Wendy! But unfortunately on the other side, on the second day, during the cleaning of the room, one of my girlfriend’s 14K gold anklet was stolen. We are very neat and clean people and she knew exactly where she put it. She then informed the front desk and ask to speak to a manager, but that took a long time before to do so, they were like procrastinating. Finally she was able to speak to the manager but he made her feel like she was lying and didn’t want to listen to her. Also said that this is not the first time happening and that she could have file a police report. And that’s exactly what she did and refunded her the value of the anklet. The police also said that keeps happening that housekeeping steals from that hotel. One of our friend AirPods also got stolen. Sad we had this experience without repercussions to the thief that did it. The hotel is beautiful though. Just need to get read of some of the stuff members and be honest.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is a complete scam. My friend and I had our jewelry STOLEN the night before we flew back to the States, and the staff had the nerve to play dumb when we reported it. They knew exactly what they were doing — timing it so we had no chance to file a proper report. The resort is full of blind spots with zero camera coverage, which makes it easy for thieves to get in and out of your room. That’s not an accident — that’s by design. We weren’t the only ones. Other guests told us their things were stolen too. When they reported it, staff basically admitted it happens all the time. So why is nothing being done? Because the people “handling” the reports are in on it. It’s a full-blown setup. The beach? Disgusting. Flies crawling all over our food. The shower pressure was pathetic, and the water smelled like sewage. On top of that, the staff were straight-up rude and dismissive. We and other minority guests experienced clear racism from multiple employees. I managed to talk to a police officer at the airport who tried to help, but of course, the so-called officer in charge of the case turned out to be part of the whole damn scheme. This resort is corrupt, filthy, and dangerous. If you value your safety or your belongings, STAY AWAY. I will NEVER set foot near this place again.

The entire Las Terrazas Team has my sincere gratitude for my overwhelmingly positive experience during my recent stay. I was absolutely blown away by the exquisite rooms and the breathtaking views they offered. Waking up to such beauty each morning truly made my vacation unforgettable. Furthermore, I must commend the staff for their exceptional care and friendliness. Every interaction was met with genuine warmth and a willingness to assist, making me feel incredibly welcomed and valued as a guest. The level of service provided was truly outstanding and contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of my trip. Thank you for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience. I will undoubtedly be recommending Las Terrazas to friends and family and look forward to returning myself in the future.

I just returned from a stay at this resort with a group of friends, and I can confidently say it was not worth the money—or the headache.||||From the very first day, red flags were already waving. I overheard an older gentleman speaking with not one, but two employees and a manager about being racially profiled by a staff member. That set the tone. While the bartenders were reasonably pleasant, the rest of the staff’s demeanor shifted dramatically the moment my friend reported her 14K gold anklet missing from her room. Suspiciously, the cleaning staff had been the only ones with access.||||Rather than addressing the matter with urgency or professionalism, my friend had to chase down the manager multiple times a day for any kind of response—only to be met with silence and indifference. It wasn’t until she escalated the situation to the local police that the resort reluctantly offered a credit on the bill. And here’s the most disturbing part: even the police commented that this wasn’t the first time items have mysteriously disappeared at this resort. Apparently, “small things” tend to conveniently vanish here.||||To make matters worse, the manager had the audacity to question the truthfulness of her report—as if the missing items of multiple guests were all just a coincidence. We later found out that other guests also experienced theft: one had a bottle of rum go missing, and another’s AirPods were tracked to a completely different location—far from the resort grounds.||||Additional issues: the bathroom water pressure was so poor it barely qualified as a shower. They tried to overcharge us for a basic boat excursion. And despite promising to make a reservation for a restaurant they personally recommended, it was never actually booked.||||In short: unprofessional management, questionable staff behavior, poor service, and a general sense of disregard for guest wellbeing. Stay elsewhere. This place is all "shine" with no soul—and possibly missing valuables.

I was there december of 2024. This place definitely should not be charging the prices it is for the quality of the rooms etc. Even the boat that picked us up to take us to the resort was run down. The "penthouse" room did not have balcony chairs when we got there and we had to ask for them. Many small details were overlooked. This is not a luxury hotel but they are charging luxury prices. The breakfast food was good. I would comment on the restaurant but it was closed when we were there.

Just returned from a weeklong family trip to Belize. I travelled with my wife and 3 kids (ages 13, 9, & 6)/ We stayed at Las Terrazas Resort, upon recommendation from a family friend, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Every person we interacted with throughout our stay went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.||The folks we that welcomed us at the front desk and throughout the trip were incredibly warm and helpful. Bairon, Raquel, and Beverly were who we primarily worked with, and each of them were amazing. They always greeted us by name and took the time to answer all our questions. They also coordinated all transportation on the ground, which was incredibly helpful.||They sent a boat to pick us up once we landed on the puddle jumper. Our boat rides to and from the resort were awesome. Stephen, along with his co-pilot “The Profit,” made the trip fun and memorable. They were fun and full of local knowledge, pointing out interesting things along the way.||Eating at the on-site restaurant, "O," was an equally wonderful experience. Every meal was excellent. The Supervisor, Stephen, arranged for a special family meal on our last evening, which was not on the menu. They prepared a traditional Belizean dinner of stewed chicken, rice and beans, slaw, and fried plantains. It was hands-down the best meal of the trip. I had to personally thank Chef Alex for making it. The care and attention the staff put into every detail was so appreciated. Miss Carla was also wonderful, always attentive and smiling.||I cannot recall his name, but the gentleman that attended the golf cart parking lot was another special person worth mentioning. Each day when left or returned to the resort, he was there to greet us. We talked about his family and ours and about his life in Belize. I wish I could remember his name. He was such a great guy. ||We were very pleased with how well-kept and beautiful the resort is. Our room was great. It was spacious and had all the comforts of home, which was helpful travelling with the kids. I prepared breakfast and dinner there. There are a couple of small grocery marts nearby where we got bread, eggs, milk, etc. ||The pool was the highlight. We all loved it and swam in it every afternoon/evening. Such a beautiful pool area and the restaurant staff will come out and serve you right there. We had drinks at happy hour and even a quick bit in one of the loungers. Their dock and beach is also great. Even though the sargassum was a problem the stiff breeze cut the smell back once you passed the shoreline. We watched the full moon rise on the dock one night. It was stunning. ||Las Terrazas exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt safe and well cared for throughout our stay. The staff truly made our experience unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return.||This was a 5-star experience all around, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for to book a trip to Belize.
