Las Terrazas Resort & Residences

The resort is beautiful!! They have a fantastic beach space, the best dock on the island, and the restaurant has incredible food. From the rancheros and waffles for breakfast to the best fish tacos to Belizean fried queen snapper for dinner - so good. ||The staff was hands down amazing. They all knew us by name and the other way around. Breakfast with Beverly and Kevin was a bright spot to start the day. My favorite breakfast was the rancheros. In the evening Steve, Joe and Karla tended to us and were amazing. My youngest made a pool side pizza with Steve!! It was great to stay at such a family friendly location. They have kayaks, paddle boards and a sailor to take you out on their Hobie Cat. My older teen boys loved that experience. ||We were a family of seven and booked a 3 bedroom garden condo. We had so much space! Our unit had bunk beds in one room,which was perfect for the kids, the. A queen and then a king size master suite. There are 2 full bathrooms and. Full kitchen. I loved it, the only thing that would make it better would have been an extra chair in the living room g space but we pulled chairs from the dining room table. ||The location was a Goldilocks spot for us. North but not past where the road north starts to get rough. Perfect for day trips to town or secret beach without it being too taxing. ||I wish I was still there. It was a trip of a lifetime and made even sweeter by the service, staff and hospitality of the resort.

Everything about our stay was amazing – from the stunning views and delicious food to the fun activities and friendly atmosphere. The glass kayaks, fresh rooms, and great pool made it even better! Huge thanks to Edgardo for the best dining experience, amazing Caesar salad, the most delicious salt-baked fish, and an unforgettable fire show! Also thanks to Nigel and Peter for their great service, drinks, and local tips, and to Karim for all the help with the golf cart. Truly a 10/10 stay, this place has it all!

If you are looking for excellence in dinner, drinks, service, and location, please add Las Terrazas restaurant to you options. One of the best dining experiences on the island. Starting with bartender extraordiar, Joe Pate, add in Steven and Karla for table service, and Flor to watch over everything. |Our dinner started with a table created cesar salad which was amazing by Edgar. He then served an unique prepared salt encrusted Queen Snapper, which was also incredible. The experience was amazing in an outdoor area under the stars. We even heard they have fire dancing on some nights. Don't miss this!

We stayed at Las Terrazas Resort for our honeymoon. It was our first time ever in Belize. From the moment we booked the hotel we received great communication with Nelson who helped us book our travel arrangements to get to the island of San Pedro. From the car ride, to the boat ride, to the front desk everyone gave amazing customer service. The front desk in particular was very accommodating to our needs, whenever we called to for help, they were ready for a solution. Special shout out to our server Nigel, who was absolutely amazing from day one. He was very friendly and always making sure we were okay. Whenever we got back to the hotel and saw Nigel, it felt like seeing family. He also gave us great history lessons on the island and Belize itself. ||The one thing I would caution most people is the roads right outside the hotel. Now granted, we went during rainy season, but roads are unfinished with potholes super bumpy and wet, which is not great if you have back/neck injuries. The good thing is as you go into the town the roads are better, so hopefully the town or hotel will invest in better roads in the coming years. This wouldn't stop us from visiting Las Terrazas again though, it's just the reality of an up and coming city. Also Las Terrazas is about 25 minutes away from town. This didn't bother us because we're not party people who need to be downtown in the middle of all the action but if you are this is something to be aware of. After a while it did get tiring to have to drive 25 minutes into town, but I'm sure it's one of the give/take you have to do if you're looking for more bang for your buck compared to the hotels "in town".

Had an amazing time! The restaurant on property is so delicious and service is top notch!! We enjoyed breakfast with Carla and lunch and dinner with Nigel, topped off with an amazing table side Caesar salad presentation and fire show with Edguardo!! Raquel was great at the front desk. The resort is beautiful and the staff are great!!

We stayed 4 nights in a 3-bedroom and had a lovely stay. The air conditioning worked great and we loved loved loved the pool, especially after dark. The vibe with the lighting was really something. As for other amenities we enjoyed, we used the paddleboards and kayaks quite a bit, got to see a fire dancer one night, and the resort helped us book our snorkeling adventure, which all worked out really well. I also liked their system where it was really easy to get towels whenever you needed them. Little things like that make the experience a lot better.

Me and my girlfriends went for a five days vacation, we got welcomed very well and part of the staff was extremely nice, especially Beverly, Karla and Wendy! But unfortunately on the other side, on the second day, during the cleaning of the room, one of my girlfriend’s 14K gold anklet was stolen. We are very neat and clean people and she knew exactly where she put it. She then informed the front desk and ask to speak to a manager, but that took a long time before to do so, they were like procrastinating. Finally she was able to speak to the manager but he made her feel like she was lying and didn’t want to listen to her. Also said that this is not the first time happening and that she could have file a police report. And that’s exactly what she did and refunded her the value of the anklet. The police also said that keeps happening that housekeeping steals from that hotel. One of our friend AirPods also got stolen. Sad we had this experience without repercussions to the thief that did it. The hotel is beautiful though. Just need to get read of some of the stuff members and be honest.
