The whole hotel was probably a nice place in the 90s as everything seems to be stuck in that era there. The hotel rooms themselves are decent and clean. The pool was nice as it was covered so the slightly chilly wind didn't bite. The spa area that could be reserved was decent as you can find 270° shower, almost Finnish sauna and a cold steam room. You can also find largish hot tub and couple of different type of rooms to relax in, which were all slightly dated. As we had Half-board reservation the dinner was included in our stay, but the dinner main course itself was horrendous every time. You can choose your main from meat / fish / pasta / vegetable dishes which change daily but haven't been changed from the 90s. We tried all of the different mains in each day but every time the food was either cold, filled with pasta cooking water, or simply not what was advertised. The only saving bit was the starter buffet which it self was also straight from the 90s. The saving grace for the hotel is the 'shy' black cat that is living there. The cat might be reserved against new quests but if you let her smell your hand and pet her a bit she will be quite cuddly and probably jump to your lap if you happen to sit next to her while being friendly with her.

What can I say about this special place. I actually got married here so it has a special place in my heart. This Hotel is high up the valley...the road to the hotel is rather thrilling. But once you reach the location, it has Beautiful setting and views of the valley... The hotel itself is a colonial structure and the rooms really nicely decorated and large. Four poster beds in some rooms, a gym, a spa, swimming pool and its own chapel. A lovely cosy rest room, really quaint bar and large dinning room with large glass windows to appreciate the views below. Such a lovely location to relax and switch off...read a book and enjoy your surroundings. Highly recommended.

Great views, location and friendly staff. We stayed in a junior suite, which was a decent size and had a great view from up in the mountains. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was fine and very clean but could do with modernising. Free WiFi was poor and not available in the rooms. Slightly disappointed in the food; it wasn't bad, just didn't have any wow factor. Overall a very good place to stay and we really enjoyed it.

Wonderful location, views and pool area. Staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. Nice bar area with wood burner. Breakfast was faultless but evening meal and accommodation did not rate as 4 star in my opinion, however I would visit again with no hesitation.

Nice hotel. Stunning views. Lovely room but taps installed with hot and cold in opposite directions for bath and sink! Free spa but no one in attendance so if the jacuzzi misfunctions, no one to fix it. Lots of sun umbrellas broken. Food? Nice spread but nothing was hot! Cold bacon and egg; cool calamari stew: cool Bolognese.... Not nice!

Dated hotel with poor service and completely not worth the price. My partner has a serious nut allergy so after the first night when I realised that this hotel is totally not accommodating to people with allergies I messaged to let them know and requested not to cover every platter in nuts. We were half board so had to eat at the buffet which isn't fair when my partner then couldn't eat half the food as it was covered in nuts simply for decoration purposes. Also ALL the desserts had nuts so she could only have mousse or strawberry ice cream. They never even responded during our stay and never made a change. The rooms are worn and outdated. We paid for the junior suite, but the balcony was so small you couldn't turn around on it. All other normal rooms had nice flowers and cactus on the balcony but not the suite. Apparently you pay the extra for nothing. Do not book a suite you will be dissapointes. The food we did eat was OK, nothing special. All tepid and not hot. The spa was never attended and towels ran out before the evening. If you have wine with dinner and do not finish the bottle you can't even take it to the lounge to enjoy. Rules state no food or drink leaves the restraunt. There is also no free WiFi in rooms and no entering the spa without booking an hour before. Even though its not attended. It ruined what was otherwise a nice wekk in gran canaria for out anniversary. Its more a 2 start prison with more rules than service. Not a 4 star spa resort. I would avoid if you expect something from this century.

Wonderful hotel which will forever be our bench mark of how all hotels ought to be. Pool and spa excellent. Restaurant food was just perfect and had good variety to chose from each day. We were on a hiking trip and it was ideally placed for walking tours. This is definately somewhere we would like to visit again. Thank you LasTirajanas.

Very friendly staff (a special compliment for the lady working at the restaurant whose first name is "Pepi"!) nice buffet (both breakfast and dinner). Free of charge Spa and swimming pool. Totally deserves a 4-stars hotel!! :-)
