Since doing the Subtraction Meditation Method, my life has began to change slowly. My health issues are starting to resolve themselves, and I am not tormented by endless thinking. It is impossible to have true rest and peace of mind when you have thoughts running wild every second. Also, I learned how to handle stress differently. Stress no longer dominates my life and my families' life. My children tell me often that they see a huge difference in me, that I am a lot calmer and happier. I am learning not to judge things and to go with the flow without resistance. However, the biggest effect that the Meditation has had on me was in understanding I am doing this to truly live, not just to be happy. Before finding out about the Subtraction Method, I practiced Mindfulness Mediation for years. Although it provided me with some insight and sporadic moments of peace, I was still suppressing feelings, emotions, and memories. Now I am becoming free from the burden of carrying these things.
