Las Vegas, New Mexico Municipal Airport

The Vegas airport is straightforward in design but lacks personality in my opinion. The dated carpet and slot machines everywhere that hardly anyone plays is a far cry of what this place could be. I wish this airport had more art or displays instead of the flashy lights.

Very clean when we went. We flew in Dec 4, 2024. The slots were terrible. Couldn’t get any wins. But it was fun to just play lol. There are Lots of restaurants but to travel to each wing of this airport takes a tram to get there. There are two Chilis. One is the bar and to go with a limited menu. The other one is the main Chilis with a sit down and eat area and the bar as well you can sit at. There are some smoking areas with slots to play inside the airport. If you are over 21.

Easy airport to access and navigate. Obviously from the time you land or before your takeout, you can enjoy the slot machines. The airport is everything Vegas — flashing lights, slot machines, big and loud. Not much dazzle dazzle at the airport, but you’ll find it as soon as you exit.

The airport is huge. Be prepared for long walks between gates. For some gates, you need to take a shuttle train. Budget enough time to get through security as well, as it moves slowly. People who are severely overweight and in wheelchairs slowed down the passage of people considerably. There are many food and beverage services available once you clear security. You can even gamble on the plentiful gambling machines and win money, if you’re lucky. The restaurants have long line ups, especially the ones with breakfast items and to go. The sit down restaurants are a bit more empty. Not all gates have charging stations, but some do. People are generally less frantic and more respectful here than in other American airports.

🎰🎰 A large and impressive airport. Different from any other airport. As soon as you enter there are slot machines, everything is colorful and bright. Everything is very, very expensive. Three pizzas cost a minimum of $10.

A big and busy Airport. Good variety of restaurants in C gate where we had to take the flight to Hawaii . Posting the restaurants available in C Gate. There are many gaming spots for spending your waiting time. Very good airport.

The Las Vegas airport is absolutely gigantic Just plan to do a lot of walking And when you get the baggage claim, you might find out that your claim is a half mile away from where you entered Of course they have gambling in the airport You obviously need to take a taxi to get to the casino that you want to go to but they do have a flat taxi rate of $29 which is very very reasonable because in some cases the distance can be quite great and there is always a lot of traffic
