Todo muy delicioso! The gambas were absolutely delicious, super juicy and cooked to perfection. The ceviche was really fresh, we ordered the aji amarillo and it had a nice little spicy kick. But the highlight for me were the mussels with a Thai twist, sooo freaking good, I ended up drinking the broth at the bottom as if it were soup haha! Service was very friendly and attentive from Leo and Luke, thank you for a great experience chicos!

During our stay at Hotel Universal Barcelona, we decided to try a nearby restaurant, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. Just a five-minute walk from the hotel, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was exceptional, with the octopus, oysters, and anchovies standing out as some of the best dishes we had during our entire visit to Barcelona. Every bite was a treat, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. The service was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly warm and passionate about what they were serving, making the experience feel personal and special. What really sealed the deal for us was the number of locals dining there. It's always a good sign when the locals choose to eat at a place, and we immediately felt welcomed and part of the atmosphere. Overall, this was more than just a meal—it was an unforgettable dining experience, one of the highlights of our time in Barcelona. Highly recommend!

Google
the most delicious place for us in Barcelona. Ceviche, Octopus, oysters and accompanied vines, all were absolutely amazing. Both waiters were warm-welcome despite of overbooking. We had a nice evening. it’s dog-friendly place. Highly recommended, worth to reserve

Google
Delicious ceviche! I got the house special ceviche and the passionfruit sour… perfect combo 😋 The service was great and good atmosphere for eating by yourself or even big groups, it seems accommodating to everyone. The price was very reasonable for the quality of fish. We will definitely return!

Google
Lascar 74 - NOT RECOMMENDED! We came based on a blogger’s recommendation. The restaurant has an unpleasant smell that makes you want to leave immediately. The prices aren’t low, but the food is NOT TASTY. Nothing special at all. We ordered oysters, shrimp, scallops, and potatoes. It was just okay, nothing more. There were also a lot of Russian-speaking guests in the restaurant, which made it obvious that the promotion was paid for by the restaurant 😢. We trusted the blogger’s recommendation for nothing 😭😭😭.

Everything at this place checks out: Fresh ingredients that can change the menu daily. The taste of the food is astonishing. One of the best ceviche’s I have tasted. Fresh and delicious oysters. Very big plus for the homemade hot sauce!

Google
Cute little tapas restaurant, service was excellent, I had no wait to get in. Seafood was fresh and delicious, has a nice trendy vibe to it. Must go back next time I am in Barcelona. All the food were delicious but get the prawns, oysters and olives at the minimum.

Can’t wait to go back, unexpected little, cosy place with good food and excellent service. You can’t miss the ceviches

Yelp
Ordered the specialty of the day, grilled octopus, and it was amazing. Server was excellent. Great place to get local food and get away from all the tourist traps.

Yelp
I've had ceviche all over the world, and this was without a doubt the best ceviche I have ever had. We ordered a second and different ceviche because it was so good. Ambiance is great and staff were welcoming and fun. 10/10

Yelp
One of my favorites in Barcelona. Outstanding ceviches. Great service. A hidden gem .

Yelp
Lascar's ceviche game is on point! Service was great and we enjoyed eating at the bar area in front of the open kitchen area where they prepare the ceviche. Eating a lot of tapas and pintxos can weigh you down after a while, which made Lascar 74 a refreshing change for a light meal that is also flavorful. Two people shared: Patatas Bravas, very good Shrimp ceviche, delicious with a little bit of a kick grilled octopus, nice flavors but I thought the octopus was a little over cooked. Known to be a Pisco bar, I also tried a pisco sour cocktail, but I was not a fan; I think if you like margaritas you'd like this cocktail. Aside from the great food and service, I love the graphics on the walls throughout the restaurant, very nice design!

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner here. We started with the scallops appetizer and they were great. The ceviche was delicious. We ordered the mixed seafood and could get it without octopus which was appreciated. The cocktails were amazing and very reasonably priced. My favorite cocktail was the pisco sour with ginger. The servers were all very kind as well. The interior is beautiful and cozy and is the perfect spot for a date. We had a fantastic experience overall and will definitely be coming back. The only tip I would give is to make a reservation on their website. Otherwise on busy nights it may be difficult to get in. We came early in the evening and could get seats at the back bar without a reservation which was fine! Definitely would recommend this place!

Yelp
During my first trip to Barcelona I discovered this local gem through Yelp when I wanted seafood late at night close to where I was staying. I loved the food and the restaurant so much I went each of my remaining nights in the city. Each time I tried some thing new and brought more and more friends. They were just as impressed as I was with the charming, simple yet refined decor and similar perfected menu. Lascar does seafood and does it well. Night one, I was solo and followed the recommendations of my amazing servers - SUA & DELPHINE. I began with two Parmesan Scallops and could have eaten twenty they were that flavorful, simply delightful. I enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited for my main course, ceviche with sea bass, prawns, and octopus in a green sauce (there are other sauce options but be sure to upgrade to include all 3 seafood items). Finally i enjoyed a perfectly portioned, red fruit cheesecake for dessert. Followers by a mini version of their pisco drink, The Porn Star, flavored with passionfruit and vanilla. The second evening I returned with a couple friends who also raved after they tried the Scallops. We shared some diced roasted potatoes which were seasoned and enhanced with a sauce to die for (I wish I could have gotten the recipe). I waited for my main course, the house specialty, GRILLED OCTOPUS. It was everything i could hope for and more. For dessert I had a yummy lemon merengue. My final time I came with all of my travel companions and a local friend (who commended my choice he had been there many times) I loved my SALMON POKE bowl. My friends all had the OCTOPUS. And we toasted Lascar with our Pisco cocktails. I highly recommend you come hungry and try EVERYTHING. You will be so glad you did. They are quite popular so you may want to phone ahead for a table especially larger groups as it is an intimate restaurant. Kudos to the owner, Robert and his business partner for the concept and perfect execution in Barcelona and their other locale I must visit in Madrid.

Yelp
Darling place with tasty Pisco Sours. Also enjoyed the ceviche, which they have several to chose. However the huge stand out was the scallops roasted with parmesan. A small restaurant, reservations are wise, but not 100% necessary. Prices are a tiny bit higher than the average BCN joint, but still very reasonable!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this little gem when looking for a place to eat on a Sunday night (when many other restaurants are closed). The service was warm and accommodating. The food was excellent---fresh and prepared with love. The bocarones appetizer was perfect--maybe the best I have ever had. The broiled scallops were fantastic, and the oysters exceptionally fresh and plump. The house ceviche was also excellent. I also ordered a pisco sour which was on point. I highly recommend this family owned, unpretentious seafood-focused spot for flavor-forward, fresh, simple and well executed food.

Yelp
My wife and I are in Barcelona for our honeymoon and speaking only English, I felt a bit uncomfortable. We found Lascar 74 on yelp and decided to give it a shot and boy are we happy we did. After walking in, it was packed so we walked up to the bar and Peter made us feel right at home. He offered us drinks and I told him to make me whatever he likes and he did not disappoint. Once there was a free table we took a seat and ordered food. We started with the parmesan scallops, which were amazing. Then had some delicious ceviche followed by an order of octopus. My wife was skeptical about ordering octopus but after last night she wants to go back and order it again. 10/10, we will definitely be going back before our trip is over.

Yelp
I mean, what to say. The best of the best ceviche you could ever try. Top quality and flavour. Amazing combinations and super friendly staff/owners. Not to be missed. Me and my wife come pretty much every week and will keep coming as long as it exists! Tip, try the scallops..they are ridiculous!!

Yelp
The food is fabulous, fresh lively flavours accompanied by, in my opinion the best Pisco sours in Barcelona or if you prefer carefully selected wines & beers. The lemon pie is to die for. And above all what must be the best Customer Service and Barcelona. I have been here on multiple occasions and never been disappointed

Yelp
Wow this place was our culinary highlight! The food, the service and the interior design of the restaurant is amazing. Highly recommendable! We are looking forward to visit Lascar74 again.

Yelp
best ceviche I ever had! I've already tried all the recipes and my favorite is Ceviche Verde and Tropical one... good flavor, fresh fish! Wonderful place as well, good wine and music. Try grilled scallops (zamburiñas), also very very good.

Yelp
We were walking by and came upon this restaurant with doors half open and asked if they were open. We were told by an English speaking man that they only open at 2 PM. He showed us the menu and proceeded to explain what Ceviche was. We told him we would be back, and after walking around a bit, went back at 1:55 PM at which time the doors were wide open and he was just sitting alone with a laptop. When asked if we could come in and order drinks, he came out and gave us a lecture about how it is still not 2 PM and that his chef is preparing 30 different sauces. Not sure what his chef has got to do with drink orders. He then proceeded to lecture about how offices or wherever we work can't be entered into until an exact time etc. We walked away and dined at one of the other innumerable restaurants in the same neighborhood who welcome customers. While I can't say anything about their food, I can surely say that the attitude and customer service is bad and totally lacking. Maybe the owner/chef fancy themselves as some Michelin starred restaurant.

Yelp
For me to rate a ceviche restaurant 5 stars says a lot. The food was very fresh, high quality, well thought out taste combinations with wonderful results. It's a small, specialty restaurant tucked away on side streets that serves magnificent food. Traditional and world ceviche and poke options balanced with just a few hot dishes; scallop with Parmesan appetizer and grilled octopus entree. Friendly waiter staff ordered for us and selected well. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Phenomenal Peruvian-fusion food with a relaxed neighbourhood vibe. Effortlessly cool, this is a great little restaurant halfway up Poble Sec, bordering Montjuic. Set off a non-descript street, it's bigger on the inside than it appears outside, with a touch of hipster added in. The food is fantastic - light, fresh and unpretentious, it's impossible to find fault with good quality ingredients, intelligently prepared. With a good cocktail list and food and drink all very well priced, it's an impressive dinner option adding to a scene I didn't know existed until staying here.

Yelp
Super super good. I'd never had ceviche before and it was delicious!! The baked scallops were to die for so much so we ordered two more rounds. Cute little places, get there early!!

Yelp
The best spot int Pablo Sec. From the Piscos to the Pulpa this spot delivers on every cue. Come hungry and get everything on the menu. It is hard to recommend one dish because they all blew my mind. The ceviche is crafted like nothing I have ever scene. Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

Yelp
Wow. Wow. Wow. Had the scallops, a traditional ceviche, a world ceviche, followed by Octopus. Outstanding. Then we ordered the Lascar Salad....Blown Away.
google avatar

Jake B.

Yelp
One of the best ceviches in town. Remember that ceviche are good for hang overs and this is a great tasting one if you smoked some cannabis before.

Yelp
Looking for a non-touristy, off-the-beaten-path restaurant with great tapas and drinks? This is your place. Lascar 74 has a wide variety of ceviche as well as small plates and sides to fill your belly. Try not to think about how much butter is in the potatoes. Also, the Pisco. You must have a Pisco drink or two. They have plenty to offer, so good luck deciding!

Samantha F.

Yelp
Incredible service! A wonderful infusion of flavors, and the most delicious #petrobe Best of luck to you in Madrid! X's
