"This small restaurant ruled by the Italian chef Stefano Mazza is the new hot spot in the neighborhood. Amazing flavors from Korea, China, Japan and South East Asia are wonderfully mixed with some Spanish and Italian influences. Yo have to try the sweet and sour eggplant dish. ❤️" - Malva Sawada & Enric Badrinas

Love the fusion. Friendly staff and great service. My favourites. Especially coconut soup with wantan.

The best aubergine I’ve ever had. A selection of interesting and delicious fusion dishes

A definite highlight in Barcelona, especially the tasting menu. Every single dish was unique and very flavorful, taking you on a culinary journey combining Korean, Chinese, Indian with Italian and Spanish cuisines. The staff were very attentive and seemed genuinely passionate about the dishes, taking their time to explain everything. Would highly recommend to anyone! Should book ahead of time!

It was pretty nice, it was a lovely experience. We had the tasting menu, which is great because you basically sample most things on the menu. My only complaints would be, we left hungry, and the saketini is way too strong. Service was nice, and fast. We didn't wait long between dishes. It was busy too.

Good restaurant and friendly helpful staff. The dishes are packed with big flavours and there are some winners on the menu like the dumpling, avocado salad, and lettuce wraps. A few dishes are close but could use more refinement to make them great like the Pineapple and Banana dessert. Over all a fun place to try.

Delicious dishes with loads of flavour. The kimchi and cheese toastie was incredible! Very friendly and attentive staff and a quite lovely street away from the more hectic and touristy areas. Lastly, great value for money!

Really wanted to like this place, popped by for a menu del dia, which is a bowl and a drink for €9.90 and was pretty disappointed after hearing so many rave reviews. We ordered the Monkey Bowl and Curry Bowl. Pros: Ambience is great, staff is nice. Basmati rice perfectly cooked. Service is super quick. Cons: Monkey bowl went heavy on salt and cilantro. I love cilantro, but too much of it and it just masks all other flavors! Curry bowl didn’t quite taste like a curry. I understand it’s fusion food, but it had almost no curry taste. The sesame oil was overpowering. Tasted it for a good 30 minutes after leaving the restaurant. Maybe it was an off day for the chef or there was slightly too much sesame oil added there, but it didn’t go down well. Also spoon was probably too small for such a large-sized bowl, eating was a bit awkward.

Had a really nice birthday dinner here. We tried the tasting menu and I can honestly say I can’t pick a favorite out of 8 dishes. The flavors were very intersting and combinations that you’d think sound wrong were actually spot-on. I never wanted the dishes to stop coming 😅 We did have to reserve a table before hand and by the looks of it most tables were booked that night.

Yelp
Unbelievable food. Had walked past a couple of times, but it was only tonight I decided to come after looking for places to eat on Yelp itself. Will 100% come back. The squid ink stew, and the pork shoulder will especially great!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Last Monkey last night for our anniversary. Service couldn't have been any better; our server was charming and helpful. The food was spectacular. We got the pork and dill wonton- would absolutely recommend. So fresh and flavorful. Then the dumplings in broth, seriously out of this world. The tartare was quite interesting- strong in flavor, but probably my least favorite of the four tapas we got... the curry meatballs were fantastic as well, very strong flavor. Lastly, we ended with two desserts, both of which were beautifully presented and delicious. Well worth the money- which was very reasonable. Good beer, good food, good service. Will definitely check out again
