Last Shot Distillery

This is a wonderful place to stop. We are traveling in a class c rv and the distillery was easily accessible. Our hostess was very knowledgeable and friendly. The venue was attractive and would be a good place to hang out for a while. We were impressed by both the products and pricing. We left with a bottle of each of the things we tasted. Highly recommend.

We’ve been here twice and both times we have been so impressed with the service we received from Shannon. Her customer service is top notch!!! She’s extremely knowledgeable and personable. We brought home three bottles. Love their products! We’ll be back!

Not only are the products great, but so are the staff! I accidentally left a package in the store and Shannon went out of her way to send it to me on her own time and money. Thank you again Shannon!

I’ve only been once, but I love this place. Their menus are seasonal - I had the maple mango-rita, and they were so good I went back for a second. I think anything with their maple liquor is bound to be delicious. There’s a lot to love here; they also have to go cocktails. The orange creme lightning “whiskey” (15%) is VERY tasty. They had an outdoor seating area, but everyone else had beer flights from next door - so if your party can’t decide on beer or liquor, this place will have something for everyone.

We stopped for a visit during our hike on the trail. We enjoyed the tour and the samples. The Maple spirits are very unique and would make a wonderful gift for the holidays. We only wish it was sold somewhere in Syracuse.

I visited last weekend. The area has many wineries but I prefer spirits so I was happy to hear about this place. The lady at the bar knew everything about each product and was very happy to help. Great smile too 😊 Unfortunately, I couldn't bring more back to Canada on my motorcycle but I definitely recommend visiting. I will be back

I've been buying the product Chris sells for a while now. I love all of it. His award winning Whiskey is absolutely great has a refined finish and a very smooth smokey taste to it. The white lightening is great for mixed drinks or if you like I add cinnamon sticks to mine and it's fantastic. Very impressed. I stopped by there about a week ago and took a look into the fact they are EXPANDING! It's so exciting they're going to have a brewery and a distillery connected I can't think of many of those and if the spirits are that good, I can't wait to taste the Beer. It hopefully will be open by August. They are always at the farmers market and are super friendly.

The gin, the bourbons, the sugar shine, and the creams, all phenomenal. And we learned a lot during our tasting. Highly recommend❤️

Our first time here over the weekend. Located inside the Skaneateles Brewery, this is a small, but welcoming tasting room. We opted for two tastings, which gave us 8 different products to sample. All of them were ok, but the standouts were the 4 Grain and the 2 cream liqueurs. We also ordered two cocktails, one was a whiskey sour and the other was pear based. Again, they were ok, but we would like to see them up their game to showcase the spirits with a house made sour mix instead of pre-bottled. Regardless, the employees were knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.

I met a bunch of friends of mine who are beer drinkers out here today unbeknownst to me that it's more than a brewery but a distillery as well. Yes, I now know they have the word "distillery" in the title but my assumption was this was strictly a craft brew place... wrong. I consider myself a very casual beer consumer. My preference is bourbon. While my friends all enjoyed their craft brews, I sampled the $4 flight of spirits coming away quite satisfied with every single one. And, I'm picky when it comes to Bourbon. My flight choice included the Four Grain whiskey, the Skaneateles whiskey, the Bourbon, the crème brûlée, and the honey barreled. Yes, I know, that makes 5. Though the flight was only 4 choices the server was very gracious and let me try the maple barreled one... sweet, but yum! The Four grain whiskey was one of the highly decorated spirits winning numerous gold awards. Though my first choice is not whiskey, this was absolutely fabulous! Deep, rich flavor that won't overtake your palette. The master distiller gets a lot of praise for the work he puts into his creations, all of which are earned. I found the Skaneateles whiskey to be quite excellent as well with its smooth finish and flavorful draw. Their bourbon stands right up there with some of the best I've had. I found a hint of maple, cherry flavor but not oaky. The crème brûlée was a nice sweet spirit a kin to Bailey's or Frangelica's. It's something coffee drinkers would find pleasant to add to their drink. I also very much enjoyed the maple whiskey. Having a sweet tooth for these sort of things this New York-based foundation made for a sweet tasty drink. There is seating inside and out. The day we were there they had live music. No question, we will all definitely be back again. I look forward to the time we can sit outside as well.

So tasty, perfect on a hot summer day. Awesome outdoor seating, plenty of room for lots to gather. Friendly employees, great communication about the cocktails and liquor.

Had an amazing time chatting with Chris the distiller. The spirits are great - I especially loved the chocolate cream, but my husband favored the bourbon. Can't wait to come back when it's warmer and we can hang outside!

This is a great local business. Nestled into an old papermill building and right across from a brewery. It oozes the feeling of product care, pride, and quality. All of the items going into Last Shot's various products come from local sources. The care of each product is shown by the awards they have received. The owner does the distillation and aging onsite. Although there are many distilleries in the area; this is the only one I have any interest in visiting. Now, I do not drink nor have I tasted their products. But I have purchased many bottle for my family and friends. They enjoy the spirits a lot. My wife enjoys their liquor and consumes when possible. She specifically likes the sweet maple and gin. I highly recommend you stop in and support a local shop making high quality drinks and other alcoholic treats.

Stopped by here to do a quick tasting and pick up a bottle. Found it randomly by searching for distilleries on google maps when we had an hr to kill between activities. We were glad we stopped in. The bartender was very sweet and explained everything to us and the differences in the types of booze. The head distiller guy (forgot his name, oops!) also gave us a nice run down of the process. The clear panels downstairs that show off the distillery equipment is pretty cool, and it looks like they had some spaces for larger events as well. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the interior is quite charming.

A perfect example where passion and love shine through into the product! Their bourbon id smooth with warm notes of vanilla and caramel. Their gin (just released) is also smooth, but with the flavor of fresh, bright spice and citrus. Chris is the proud distiller who will share with you how these (and his other) liquors come to be. What a treat, as if Skaneatles wasn't already wonderful.

We stopped by and had a wonderful time! Not only we're the drinks absolutely delicious, but we received a full education on distilling and made some friends. We brought our puppy with us and she liked roaming around and meeting all the people popping in next door. I can't recommend this place enough. Amazing atmosphere, such a helpful owner and great people. Definitely will be back!

We enjoyed the spirits here. Nice vibe with friendly staff. My husband really liked the White Lightning, a non barrel aged straight whiskey. It was very unique and wasn't something we've seen before. The Moscow Mule was more my style.

We had a great time at the Last Shot Distillery today! We had a tasting of the vodka, the moonshine whiskey, the lightning whiskey, the bourbon, the distiller's reserve whiskey, and the sweet maple. I loved the moonshine. It was a little strong on its own, but the owner poured a touch of apple cider that he's mixed with brown sugar and cinnamon in and it was amazing! My fiancé loves the distiller's reserve whiskey, and we both thought the vodka was delicious. It had a slight smell and flavor (almost vanilla like) that we weren't used to with vodka, but we loved it. The owner was so friendly - explaining the process of making the liquor, showing us the downstairs where it is made, and just making small talk. It was a great experience!

Brand new distillery making vodka, whiskey and moonshine from local products. Vodka has a nice flavor and aroma - yes ! The aroma is captivating ! It would make a perfect Cosmo. The moonshine is 100 proof and flavorful but goes down with a burn. Surely the alcohol has something to do with that! We bought a bottle of the whiskey. It's colorless but with a nice smooth flavor. Perfect for a cold night. Now we're ready for winter!

Best craft distillery in the area. Love the bartender and the drinks! Not to mention the awesome rustic industrial look. Keep up the good work!

Great local distillery with really great, high quality spirits. All their grain is sourced locally, as is the maple syrup they use for their really interesting maple liquor. Definitely try the bourbon and the maple spirits -- the maple ones are so interesting! The less sweet one is reminiscent of a good tequila, while the sweet one reminds me of a white rum. I've never had anything like them! Chris, the owner, was great to talk to, explaining each product, the process of creating it, and even the local history! Definitely worth a stop!
