Last Word Franschhoek

We stayed in January 25 and loved it so booked again for Jan 26. What a fantastic hotel. Small, intimate but with an emphasis on superb customer service. The rooms are so comfortable we were sad to leave. Right on the Main Street in Franshoek it’s a few minutes walk to all of the restaurants. Well done to the team.

Amazing Stay at The Last Word, Franschhoek! Our stay at The Last Word was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are stylish, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect retreat. The attention to detail and personal touches made us feel truly welcome. The location is wonderful, close to the charming town of Franschhoek, and the views are breathtaking. Breakfast and meals were delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we are very happy with our experience and would highly recommend The Last Word to anyone visiting Franschhoek!

We had the opportunity to stay here in December 2025, and were thrilled with the staff, the ambiance, the food and the atmosphere of this hotel! Conrad and Franklin made sure all of our needs were met and were the most gracious hosts during our stay. We highly recommend The Last Word when visiting The winelands in South Africa. The courtyard off our room was an added bonus!

This place is great, the rooms are super spacious the team are incredibly helpful the locations is great and the place beautiful. We stayed at room 10 and the one thing I'd say can improve is the connectivity of WiFi, as that is the furthest room, it may only he an issue on this particular room. Thank you so much team we had a great stay!

We had an incredible stay at the Last World in Franschoek. It was a perfect location, walkable to all the town shops and the wine tram. The staff was absolutely outstanding throughout our stay and made us feel very special during our time. The morning breakfast service and food was top notch and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Walking distance from all of Franschoek’s best restaurants, we had an incredible room leading out onto the pool. Decor is fun and stylish. The service was incredibly attentive, with thanks to Conrad, Franklin and all the staff.

We had a wonderful stay at The Last Word in Franschoek. Great location which gave us the ability to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful. The service was above and beyond. Rooms were so comfortable we made ourselves right at home. Our own pool, sitting room, and even a mat to work out with.
