Last Word Long Beach

Everything about this hotel exceeded expectations and I really wish we had more days to spend there. The staff were exceptional and welcoming, the amenities top-notch, and the room was both comfortable and filled with thoughtful extras (including a yoga mat and cooler box). Breakfast and dinner was outstanding! The beachfront location is fantastic. Highly recommended for a relaxing, pampered getaway.

My girlfriend booked us a little getaway at Last Word Longbeach and we had the most memorable stay. Honestly, it’s quite literally the only hotel in Cape Town that sits directly on the beach with absolutely nothing in between—waking up to those views was unforgettable. We started each morning with a walk along the beach before breakfast. The staff were unbelievably friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.||Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, with service that was second to none. Our room and bathroom were pure luxury—spacious, stylish, and perfectly comfortable.||A very special mention has to go to Candice, the General Manager. She made our stay extra special with her warmth, professionalism, and impeccable recommendations for restaurants and local wineries. Her personal touch really elevated our experience, and it was clear she genuinely cares about every guest’s stay.||Whenever we are in Cape Town, we will stay nowhere else! Last Word Longbeach is perfection in every sense. We arrived as guests but feel we left as family.

Last word Beach was simply divine. The location, approximately halfway between Cape Town and Cape Point was perfectly located for trekking throughout the southern cape. As far as seaside towns go, it’s hard to beat the picturesque Kommetjie; a small but tight-nit community that made us feel totally welcomed. Regarding the property itself, it was a real treat. Directly on the beach with a stunning upstairs patio and a luxurious pool deck, both overlooking the beach. On the inside, the attention to detail is impeccable, and we felt as though we were living in Coastal Living magazine. Most importantly however was the service, which was absolutely divine. The entire team from the groundskeeper to the general manager, are extremely passionate about educating upon the best possible guest experience. Everyone knew us by name, consistently asked how they could make our stay better, readily offered recommendations, and were simply a pure delight to be around. We truly felt at home. For a final point, we highly recommend eating here. Both breakfast and dinner were a beautiful and the food was divine, very fresh high-quality ingredients, and a deep caring from the culinary team, who really let their passion show. Very well fitting with the fantastic overall experience. As frequent travelers, we find that sometimes 5-star hotels have the luxurious accomadations, but lack on the 5-star service. Last Word Long Beach has absolutely nailed it on both. We cannot wait to return.

From the minute we arrived every member of staff we met were friendly , helpful and always happy, the location was fantastic the food likewise, would gladly visit again. This was the second last word property we have visited and would highly recommend both . We are already looking towards our next trip

From the minute we arrived at the Last Word we knew we were in for a treat! The location is breathtaking and the welcome incredibly special, which set the tone for our two day stay. Our super luxury comfy room faced the ocean and the bold and beautiful decor, was both inviting and exciting. Meal times were the best as the food was delicious, wines sublime and service impeccable. Brandin and the team could not be more helpful and I can't honestly say that we had an amazing getaway. |I highly recommend the Last Word Long Beach if you want to get away from it all and be spoilt rotten.

There’s not enough adjectives to describe our stay at this fabulous resort! The quality of the accommodations is second to none, the food is incredible, but above all……the service by Jackie and her staff is the best we’ve ever had! Every little detail is well thought out and executed! It’s an over-the-top experience that raises the standard of excellence!

Our two night stay was spectacular from the moment we walked in the door. The service from everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and they all seemed so happy. The attention to detail in the decor, and special touches (like a Mothers day gift and the room turndown) was unbelievable. The meals were so delicious and flavours perfectly balanced. You cannot beat the setting and views.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the experience definitely exceeded my expectations. The location and hospitality are exceptional. It’s a beautiful beach house with great staff. Breakfast and dinner and most drinks are included. The meals were of great quality. There are so many personal touches that make this place even more special. Highly recommend.
