Lastarria 43-61 Apart Hotel

We recently stayed at the 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment with a terrace at the Lastarria apartment hotel. The staff is lovely and very quick with their response when we had a question. The apartment was clean and perfect for our needs. There is a laundry service available if you need it. The location cannot be better. It is so lively with lots of restaurants, bars, cafés and live music and street performers in the evening. You are a 3-minute walk from the metro station Universidad Católica, and walking distance from Cerro Santa Lucia, Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral, Plaza de Armas, Bellas Artes neighbourhood, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Parque Forestal, La Chascona, etc. There are all kinds of food options – Chilean, Peruvian, Asian, fast food – you will eat well here! Do not forget to try the ice cream options and popsicles at Emporio La Rosa, there are some really unique local flavours on their list. . The hotel apartment also offers 20% off on 4 of the local bars/cafés, check their names at the reception. Do note, however, that there are no elevators in the building, but this was not an issue for us. Bar Almeda on the corner of Almeda and Portugal has great completos and beer selection. Further south on Portugal is a grocery store called Mak Express, where you can get bottled water in large size and other essentials. You are walking distance from Lider Express, which is their version of Walmart. You are also walking distance from Centro Artesenal Santa Lucia which is a large collection of artisanal shops. We would highly recommend this place.

Staff at the Lastarria are wonderful. Their English is awesome and their local knowledge priceless. Everyone so helpful and did their best to make the stay enjoyable. The room was lovely. Clean. Quiet. Great pillows. Loved the relationship with the cafe (next door and in front of the hotel). Again, lovely staff and great food. Had the breakfast for brunch as well as breakfast! Perfect! They even made a breakfast-to-go on our early departure. Had a lovely stay. If you get a chance we'd thoroughly recommend the 'free city walk'. Our guide had amazing English and was clearly passionate about her city. Thank you everyone.

This hotel is a clean and modern boutique hotel in a location right off a street with sidewalk restaurants. It's also walking distance from most of the major museums. The staff was helpful and was able to hold my bag all day before an evening flight. I highly recommend it for a decently priced place to stay.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Lastarria - the location is fantastic, in the heart of hip, bustling lastarria. Despite this, we weren't bothered by the noise.||The room was beautiful - and so was the air conditioning! The fridge in the room was extremely handy. There was no lift (we knew this when booking), but we didn't find it inconvenient at all. Breakfast was included, very handily just downstairs.||The front desk was staffed 24/7, which was both reassuring but also really useful!||Jesus was an absolute star - super welcoming, enthusiastic and friendly - helping us with taxis, travel tips and a million other bits. He was extremely responsive on whatsapp when we arrived, and all through our stay. A+++++ :)

The hotel Lastarria is in the center of Santiago and is very nicely located for wandering about. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and accommodating, the staff pleasant and receptive. There is an actual desk as well as a loveseat in TV. Should you choose to stay in the room or need to work. The wifi is fast enough. All in all, I have no complaints about the hotel. Itself, or the staff ergo the four star review. The only problem I had was that the plus comet being in the center of town coma is also a minor minus in that the street, on which the hotel is situated becomes a market at night and that goes on until midnight or twelve thirty, and if you have a room on the first floor as I do, expect some noise. ||With that minor annoyance, I would definitely consider staying here again were I to come back to Santiago.

We were pleasantly surprised by the this place. It is very clean and well equipped. We were really happy with our stay here and would return for sure. We had great views and it wasin a really convenient location. Easy check in and check out and good communication.

The neighborhood is close by metro station, restaurants, bars and a supermarket which help us to to do everything by foot. We felt safe even there being a square with a lot of people crossing by. The room was really nice, warm and cozy. The bed was great and the kitchen had all amenities we needed as such a refrigerator and a water heater. The staff were friendly and helped us suggesting a laundry place near by! We recommend!

The location could not be beaten as most sights were within walking distance and there were many restaurants close by. It was not fun taking our luggage up and down 4 levels and it was not clear where to check in. The apartment itself was a bit tired but fitted with all we needed. Nice to have a kitchen for some self catering after many weeks of hotel breakfasts. The door to the apartment building was a bit tricky to open.
