Latitude 13 Degrees

Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend and we had such a good time. We ate here a couple of times and the food was really good especially the breakfasts, the coffee and the curries. The staff were very friendly and the pool is one of the cleanest I’ve seen in Malawi (please keep it this way😅) gym was also good. We even got a massage which is very conveniently inside the hotel. I’ll definitley return soon!

We stayed at Latitude 13 from 8 Aug to 14 Aug. It’s in a convenient location for the airport and we were made to feel welcome on arrival by Annie at reception. We stayed in a Junior Suite which fell slightly short of expectations. However, the room was clean and the quirky decor, which is something that continues throughout the hotel, gave it a certain aesthetic vibe.||We had breakfast and dinner every day at the hotel and the food was amazing. What made our stay even more enjoyable was how accommodating, friendly and attentive the waiting staff were. Specifically, a big thank you to Samuel K, Luke, Josephine and Steven for your excellent service. ||We did encounter a few issues during our stay (not providing enough towels, ants in the living room and kitchen) and minor maintenance issues (cupboards that won’t close, creaky floorboards, bathroom wall could do with a lick of paint and lock on bathroom door missing). However, these would not necessarily deter us from staying here again.||Looking forward to our next visit.

Food and service at restaurant great. 9/10! However, reception staff at both check in and check out were unfriendly and unresponsive. Didn’t anyone tell them that they were supposed to be serving customers? Everything seems to be too much for them. Even getting the bill was a bother. In the room, 2 guests supposed to share 1 towel. Waited an hour for the extra towels to be delivered.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The dining was good, just very expensive. The drinks were also very expensive. We only had 1 towel in the room and it took very long to get a 2nd towel. Good location in Lilongwe.

I was here in October and I really enjoyed the latitude 13 burger and the service was top notch.Thanks to that lady who served me named Christina.Next time I visit Lilongwe I will definitely came again.

We stayed at Latitude 13 for a one‑night stopover before catching a flight, and it was a real treat. The beds were super comfy, and we all had a great night’s sleep. The kids loved the pool – even though it was very cold in August, it didn’t stop them from having a dip! The waiting staff were really lovely and even suggested hot chocolate afterwards to help them warm up, which was a thoughtful touch.||The food was excellent – fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. It is a bit on the expensive side for Malawi, but definitely worth it if you’re looking for something special. Overall, a stylish, relaxing spot to recharge before travelling. Would recommend if you’re happy to spend a little extra for comfort and good service.

Due to business, I’ve been here already five times. I really like the place perfect combination of nice rooms nice restaurant and opportunities to work. Thank you to the whole team.

Love this place! Been there 3 times and never disappoints. Will be back.
