Had lunch which was excellent and had the Heart of Africa massage in the spa. It was the best massage I have ever had, our masseurs Lacy and Carole were fabulous so strong and still gentle head to toe. ||My only negative was that the pool was only available to hotel residents whereas normally I would expect to be able to use it as a client of the spa.

Staying in this hotel is like staying in an art gallery. The work of designers, artisans, and artists from Zambia and Malawi is everywhere—from large paintings to wall hangings, unique furniture and fabrics. We only stayed one night here and were truly in awe. Our bedroom on "The Other Side" section was spacious and comfortable with a sitting area, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, plenty of bottled (not plastic) water. The bathroom was equally huge with a shower and bathtub. Be warned, though: the shower floor is extremely slippery, dangerously so. I hope the management provides a non-slip mat in the future.||||The restaurant was very popular amongst locals and had a good selection for dinner. We weren't hungry so didn't eat much, unfortunately. Breakfast the next morning was SUPERB!!! One of the best buffets we've ever had in a hotel, anywhere,||||We would definitely choose this hotel again, hopefully for a longer stay.

A nice, open atmosphere, with gardens, pool area, bar and two restaurants. | Our room was very spacious, clean, and with a large bathroom. Bed a tad hard, but in good shape with nice linens. The room was quiet and good for sleeping. The A.C. worked well. There is also a nice fitness gym. I would certainly stay here again. - It was about 30 minutes from the international airport, with traffic, and half that on return without traffic. - Once at the hotel, there is little reason to leave, and not so much in the neighbourhood anyway.

Spent 2 nights at this unique establishment during a business visit in the local area in early 2023. Cannot fault the hotel. In a very nice area. It did what it needed to do for the visit but what I did like was the very personalised and authentic feel it had, from reception, to its hallways, communal areas, as well as the rooms. My room was light, airy, and had some very nice African artwork, etc. The room was spacious and had a sofa and separate work desk wimhich came in handy. The bathroom had ample space, and the walk-in shower was a treat. Even had an African print gown/robe in the bathroom, which was a very nice touch. I felt at home. The food was very good, and the portion sizes were quite adequate. Though I don't have a picture of the breakfast I had, it was so nice and filling. I had an omelette, and they make it right in front of you, and you choose what to go into your omelette. That was refreshing. The offerings for breakfast were very comprehensive and catered with what most people would prefer for their first meal of the day, be it savoury, sweet, or anything in-between. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and no ask was too much for them. I asked for an iron and ironing board, and in a snap, it was delivered to my room, and there was no rush to return it. It was storming when we were in Lusaka and one of the nights, I was woken by the lights going out, don't know why it woke me. It was a temporary power outage (around 2am) but within minutes, it came back on. Maybe they had generators that kicked or the grid came back on. Either way, it didn't cause me any distress or concern. Only happened once. Very quiet upstairs where the rooms are and wasn't disturbed at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who might consider staying in the area for business or pleasure. I'm not sure if it's kids friendly it is, but during our stay, there were families with kids, so I think it's ok. It has a pool as well, though we didn't use it. We had a very busy schedule.

It’s a while since I was last in Lusaka and I was pleasantly surprised by the airport, the adjacent roads- and particularly this hotel! The room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean and the restaurant was basic in design but the food was really good. Service was enthusiastic is perhaps how best to describe it! Sitting by the pool on a sunny afternoon was a joy. I look forward to returning.

Used the hotel twice once for overnight before going on safari and again as a day resident before our late night flight. Bedrooms are very comfortable with everything you need , standard of rooms is the same for day guests||Food is very good and well priced

I cannot fault service and facilities. The style, decor and artwork throughout were interesting and engaging. They made the hotel feel unique and I would definitely stay again.
