I've been on this lake for decades and was anxious for the marina improvements. Competition is most always a good thing, and the Antelope Marina pushed Wahweap to step it up. The facility is a great improvement, but Latitude 37 is a disappointment. The menu, while modest, is adequate and the food is actually pretty good. I like the breakfast and dinner options, upstairs area is nice, some live music, etc. But, the attention to detail ends there and it became clear that the management does not care at all about the customer. Comparing service between Antelope and Wahweap is night and day. Hiring young foreign staff at Wahweap is a fine idea (not a practice at Antelope), but it is obvious they receive little training, or the wrong kind of training, as the service is absolutely terrible. It ranged from being completely ignored, food arriving cold, not remembering orders, forgetting silverware, incorrect bills, and did I mention, being ignored. Sitting inside the restaurant was impossible due to a faulty thermostat keeping it so cold you could hang meat in there, and the response from management was a blasé, oh, the company doesn't want to fix it, so you can sit outside. Huh? Anyway, if you go there make sure you have a lot of time and be prepared to be veeerrry patient.
