Lato Boutique Hotel

This is a first-rate hotel and I absolutely loved it. The room was clean and modern and the decor, sophisticated. The bathroom sparkled. The staff were extremely attentive and available at all times. Walking distance from magnificent restaurants by the harbor.

I stayed at this hotel for 8 days and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The room we got was a superior sea side view which was amazing, also it conveniently placed close to some amazing food places around, just a 5 min walk to all the restaurants in the area, also the hotel restaurant has some great food. I must add that the central bus station is very close just a 10 minute walk too , It's a great place to go if you want to visit the beaches, the buses have a long track to different places so you can get a ticket to the stop where you desire.

The accommodations at Lato Boutique Hotel did not disappoint. A comfortable bed and bathroom with real attention to detail. On arrival in our room, a treat awaited us on the bed, there were two bottles of water, and quality products in the bath. Breakfast offered an excellent assortment of hot and cold options, good coffee (a must), served by warm and friendly staff. The hotel is perfectly situated to access downtown. Definitely recommend.

The rooms are quite nice, some with a beautiful look on the harbour. The stuff was really nice. Would not recommend if you come travel by car. We took the ferry next day and the location was perfect for that. The breakfast was awesome. All in all it was a great hotel for the night but did not feel like a real „summer holiday“.

Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was a huge spread, better than we’ve had at similar mid-range hotels around the world. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and we didn’t have any issues. We even had a slight sea view. Would definitely recommend.

It’s a great place to stay in Heraklion. Located very close to the harbor and shopping district. Hotel’s parking lot is located closer to the port area but street parking ( if you are brave enough) is nearby. Staff was friendly and there is a nice restaurant on the top floor. Breakfast is on the ground floor at the other restaurant which is decent.

Lato was in a great location from the Sea Jets port we arrived. It is also located near many restaurants and the Central Markets. We found it to be a wonderful location for walking to and from many attractions, such as the museum and shopping. The rooms were well appointed, clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our price included breakfast which was convenient and lovely. I would also like to point out the wonderful laundry service across the street. We would drop off a bag of washing for 15euro, and it was washed, dried and delivered back to lato. It was very convenient and the man was lovely. All in all a lovely stay in Crete at Lato!

Rooms are basic but clean. We stayed in room 303 and had a nice view of the harbor. The location is good, close to the port if you are planning to take the ferry to other islands. Cab fare to the airport is around 15 euros. Overall it’s a basic hotel with tired furniture, helpful staff and good breakfast with adequate selections.
