Lato

We had a pleasant, spontaneous one-night stay here. It was what we needed from Agios Nikolaos - quiet and a little bit separate from the busy town centre. The breakfast buffet was relaxed and easy going. The room was fine. The workers were pleasant and helpful. We would go back. Thanks guys, have a great summer!

Amazingly friendly hotel, Great food, Jeanette's cooking is superb & her chips are the best I've ever eaten.|Sally's toasties we also extreamlly yummy! |Very disappointed when another patron kindly left me a bag of left over high factor suncreams for the child I had with me as he was getting |bad sunburn. |I was told bag of 7 or 8 bottles were left in a bag behind the bar for me to collect. Yet when I asked about it there was only a bottle of aftersun & a bottle of factor 6 oil left as the night time bar worker Suzanne decided she was taking the ones she could use home for her own personal use! Then made it an issue with other staff members and didn't return them when asked to.|Extreamlly disappointed that this theft happened by staff as I then had to do the 20min walk into town so I didn't have to pay €20 for 1 bottle of factor 50 at closest supermarket.|Staff should be alot more trustworthy.|I'm glad I didn't leave my purse or anything else valuable lying about.

If you want traditional Greece this is it. Functional not flash. Met so many people who have been coming here for years. Small pool and bar which was perfect for the small family run hotel. Paid extra for air-conditioning but worth it as so hot this week.

Our fourth stay here, beautifully clean, lovely breakfasts, friendly staff. New pool with steps is great improvement. Great location for walking into town and taking boat trips, hiring a car to visit Lasithi Plateau, Moclos, Sissi, Kritsa. Lots of good places for dinner nearby. Great fun to meet up with friends from previous years at happy hour in the evening.

This was my second year at the Lato Hotel |Arriving in the early hours of the morning,| the night manager hugged me. It really did feel as if I had never left.|I cannot add much more to last year's review really.|As a female solo traveller, it is essential to feel safe and I do at the Lato!|Thank you to all the staff there who work so hard (especially the chambermaids) for another work so hard!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We got a room with a lovely view. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great too. Walking distance to everywhere in town and overall a great relaxing stay. There is a roof terrace that perhaps needs a bar but am not complaining. Would stay again for sure.

Amazing views, walking distance to primary tourist area, phenomenal staff always go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Highly recommended

What not to say about this little Gem of a hotel. Family run, quaint place to relax and unwind. Breakfast only, but wow those lovely ladies make the best jams, honey, and cakes. Beautiful selection of fresh meat n fruits, choice of eggs. All to eat on the Beautiful patios. Rooms are very nice and clean. And serviced every day. Pool is small, but very adequate and you're never without a sun lounger. Jeanette the lovely lady who takes care of the bar side is an absolute asset the hotel. Best happy hours I've ever spent. She's friendly, funny and makes you feel special. We will be going back if there's room for us. It gets booked up very quickly. Xxx
