Big thank you to the great staff of the hotel, especially the two reception workers yesterday evening. Nice, big room. Breakfast was also good with fruits and jams as vegan options. Some hearty vegan options would be nice though - maybe some hummus? Overall a nice hotel, close to everything, including the EU area.

We are a couple travelling through Europe and had an issue with our flight, which was delayed and put our hotel reservation at risk. Fortunately, we had an amazing team that helped us solve everything. Samantha, from the reception, was extremely helpful, attentive, and dedicated: she took care of every detail and made sure we didn’t lose our booking. She also involved the manager, who stepped in and supported us as well. This joint effort between the reception and management made all the difference in our experience. Another point that impressed us was Samantha’s ability to communicate in several languages. Even though i speak English, my native language is Portuguese. She made a point of assisting me in Portuguese so clearly that I even thought she was a native speaker. This gave us great confidence and shows how well-prepared she is to welcome guests from all over the world. We highly recommend this hotel, not only for its structure and comfort but especially for the outstanding service from the staff. Many thanks to Samantha and the manager for their support and dedication! 👏👏

Located a short walk from the centre of the historic part of the city. Close to shops and a range of restaurants. Good transport links too ( trams, trains, buses) rooms were clean, modern style, tv channels for most European tastes. Pool, ( not Olympic, more fun sized)was a pleasant surprise. Staff pleasant and accommodating.

Cold, careless, and missed the moment completely. I had reached out ahead of time to let the hotel know this was our first anniversary, and they kindly confirmed they'd leave a small note for my girlfriend. A simple gesture, but it mattered. When we arrived: nothing. Worse, the room had two separate beds. For a couple. On their anniversary. I asked to switch, and offered to pay extra. They said there was no availability. I asked to cancel the booking, they said “sure”, then added “no refund.” What’s most disappointing isn’t the beds or the note, it’s the complete lack of care. When a hotel can’t show even the smallest effort on a meaningful occasion, it becomes just another business, not a place that welcomes people. We expected warmth. We got walls.

The hotel offers a 24/7 reception, which makes it possible to arrive whenever you want and to leave your key at the hotel when you are planning on leaving it for a while. The room itself was practical, yet felt very modern and warm. The room was clean. The matrass was a bit hard, but not too hard. The bathroom was small, but comfy. Still the bathroom gets very humid, because there is no ventilation. The only real downside of this room is that you can hear the other guests and staff walking by your room, when the door is closed. So, it can be a bit noisy. The pool in the inner yard is very nice. A real pleasure and a pleasant refreshment during a warmer day. The location is almost perfect. When you arrive by car, there is a Q-Park two streets further and the city is on walking distance. A bus stops nearby the hotel. It is possible that there are some homeless persons present in the street, but that is an issue that can be experienced in Brussel/Bruxelles in general.

Good location and the beds are pretty comfortable. The rooms are so hot and muggy, and there is no place to hand towels, no ventilation. Reception was friendly, but some staff members clearly just invited their friends over to hang out all day and use the pool. It made it not only uncomfortable, but also impossible to enjoy the pool as it was always loud and packed with people who were not clients.

Our room was small, but clean and comfy. The mattress was hard, and the room was quiet at night and we therefore slept well. Breakfast wasn't excessive but had everything we needed, I especially liked the fresh bread. The outside pool in an inner yard of the building with its chill area were an absolute treat in the afternoon sun. Given the very central location, just off from one of the main streets of the city center, coupled with a fair price, I recommend it.

As many reviewers noticed, the location of the hotel is on a side alley and there are homeless and drug addicts that are loitering around which makes it feel very unsafe and pretty unnerving. If I were alone as a woman I would not want to stay here and would be terrified. The hotel and rooms are clean, staff are really friendly, but everything is tired and worn out. There is no AC, and you can only open a very small window in the room, so it was very hot and stuffy. No coffee facilities in the room, in the bathroom there is only soap and shampoo and nothing else. The pool is a small pond, pretty crowded and not really for swimming, it is more like a tub. In the evening a lot of people are hanging around the pool, our room was facing the courtyard which was nice, but everyone hanging out in the garden could see us and we could see them. The breakfast is good and there is plenty of choice, but as a number of people wrote you have to cook your own eggs which is a bit odd. This place has very much a hostel feel, it looks like that on the outside, tue amenities are like that, and we couldn't believe that we arrived to a 4 star hotel when we reached the address. This could probably suit young adults and/or students, but for us there was too much left to be desired for, especially for that price and we were disappointed with our stay. We expected a lot more and felt this was not at all value for money. We chose this hotel because we wanted to be in Ixelles as we heard it is a nice area of Brussels, but for the price we paid we could have gotten a lot more comfort in a much nicer and safer location..
