The view at night is quite nice, but I don't think it's worth 8 euros. It's hard to read the descriptions on the tower, minimal lighting would be needed in the dark. The advantage is that the opening hours are long - when none of the other attractions are open, you can visit this one.

At the entrance buy a ticket at the window, 8 euros per person. Then take the RIGHT lift to the 15th floor. Walk the stairs up and you are there. Really good view of the city, I definitely recommend to visit.

Best view over the city. On top of the academy of science - an soviet building in stalin style. Great view with explanation. No waiting time, not overcrowded. Perfect lookout

Good viewpoint with nice views and a big observation deck. The only funny thing when I was there is that you take the elevator yourself and I found that the signs to get to the viewing deck were not that great but overall great experience espcially on a sunny day.

If you want a panoramic view of Riga, this is your spot! Forget the Radisson bar, this is the real deal and it’s fun to be in a real academic building too!

Nice panoramic views of the city. A bit pricey, though, 8 euros per person and you still have some unwell lit stairs to climb (not wheelchair friendly). Inside, it smells very badly, of sewers…

Very different vibe from posh central riga. Monumental building with well preserved soviet style lobby. Great view of the city. Worth the visit. NOT suited for disabled persons, one needs to walk up the last few levels.
