L'Auberge du Roi Gradlon

Me and my partner went in for a lunch. The chef(the owner?) was very hospitable even tho he was super busy doing everything on his own, welcoming, cooking, serving and entertaining us and other 3 more tables at the time. He took the time to explain the menus in English as our french is really bad. Good portion size and reasonable price. All dishes we had were so good. I had a scallop carpaccio, which was well seasoned and tasty and a lovely fillet steak which was the best and the most succulent steak I have ever had in Paris. It was shame that we didn’t have time to try the desserts, looked so delicious. I will definitely visit next time go to Paris. Highly recommended

We stopped here for only cappuccinos, but the place is very nice, good position and the waiter was very friendly (unfortunately, a rare encounter in Paris). The cappuccinos were not the best, out of the 4 people we were at the table, 2 cappuccinos had nice milk foam, other 2 not :) The food looked and smelled amazing, we didn’t try it, just saw to those around us.

We had an absolutely lovely evening. My mom celebrated her birthday and the very nice waiter surprised the whole group with free champagne! The food was very (!) delicious. Compliments for the chef. All together we had a great evening due to the lovely waiter who really interacted with us but was never too much, and due to the great chef. Thanks a lot. And will highly recommend this place to others.

Such a perfect supper. The host and staff were incredible, food was delicious (we had the steak frites and cheese for pudding). Red wine was great, lovely atmosphere - could not recommend more!

After a bad customer service experience from another restaurant routed for this restaurant. They really made my day. Food and Service was really great. Atmosphere there is also very cosy. Really loved it

This restaurant lives up to the many great reviews. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food is utterly amazing and the wine list is exquisite. We will definitely visit again. They have created a very enjoyable and intimate space to enjoy French cuisine at its finest. A gastronomic treat for discerning diners. Well done L'Auberge du Roi Gralon.

first dinner of my trip in Paris; this sets the bar pretty high :) I had the vegetarian spring rolls, very fine and tasty, fresh and 100% homemade, you can tell. My brother I law got the œuf mollet façon carbonara. it looked amazing as well. we both had the pavé de boeuf (melting in your mouth) and the apple Tatin tart in dessert. we both highly recommend this welcoming place.

I booked a table here for two. We arrived exactly on time and the waiter showed us to our table. He was a very nice guy. The gripe I have is that people who arrived after us had their orders taken and their food served before us. The menu is quite short and the food is good but the wait for it was unprofessional in my opinion which spoiled it a bit. Two courses in two hours, work it out.
