Freddies, Portilios, Panchos Pistolas, Jason's, Connies, Ricobene but no longer Laura's. Laura's is OUT of the rotation.
Like an abusive man, NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT IS.... Its not worth the disrespect and humiliation.
Here is the short story. I am a once every 2 weeks costumer at Laura's. Average meal order is $40-50 (no judgement).
On 3/3/22 I called in a food order (ticket no. 816) to Laura's . I was told that my food would be delivered in one hour . My doorbell rang after 20 minutes and it was the delivery guy from Laura's. He handed over the meal but he was missing a pasta dish and 4 side salads. When I called the restaurant to ask when I would receive the rest of my order, the person on the phone (Server Anthony D) rudely stated that I had received my order and that I was mistaken about what I ordered. He said he had taken the order himself and he insisted that I ordered the Rigatoni Alla Vodka Sauce (I'm a recovering alcoholic) I think I would have remembered ordering anything with alcohol. When I repeated my order he said, "You didn't order that;" and then HUNG UP ON ME! I didn't get a, I'm sorry that happened, let me make those side salads for you." What ever happened to the customer is always right. I didn't ask for anything free. I just wanted the meal that I ordered and thought I was paying for.
Laura's employees consistently struggle with demonstrating professionalism. Their phone etiquette is horrendous. Employees (I think Anthony was the owner) have no idea how to handle a frustrated customer. There must be protocols put in place as a check and balance for phone orders. The least of which could be be to repeat the order to the customer (light bulb).
I pay for the service too!
