Such a cute bakery with amazing baked goods, all kinds of pies, scones, roles and home-made bread. Whenever I walk past this shop I cannot stop myself from going and grabbing a sweet treat for myself. I first came across their store at the PSU farmers market and tried their rugelach and scones and then I was hooked. They have amazing selection of bourbon Based pies, pecan goodies, various cookies, jams and jellies. The stories on my way to work and every morning I have to resist the incredible smell is coming from within. I also like the fact that they have a good selection of savoury items for offer as most of the bakeries usually have sweet items. I love their feta and spinach quiche which is such a refreshing change from the sweet bakery products. I highly recommend everyone to go here and check this little place out. You should be careful that they run out of all their most popular items pretty early in the day, so make it a point to go there early in the morning if you really want to try the huge variety of stuff on offer.

Just when I thought honey pie couldn't be beat... Honey hazelnut pie happened!! What a treat!! I have never had this amazing pie before, so I don't have a comparison, but it is amazing. Friendly service, best quiche ever, salted honey pie, and now hazelnut honey. YUM. Well done. My inner fat kid dances with pure delight .

This little shop is one of my favorites. Mostly for it's charm. It's the smallest retail space I've ever really been in and my understanding is that this used to be the only space!
You can't even open the door if there are already more than 3 people inside... it's awesome and I kind of love it.
So they have a more limited selection at this location but I go with no expectation other than a treat. Then walking in you get to see the choices and it's like Christmas. Maybe not what you asked for from Mom & Dad but certainly still great!
If you go in the afternoon it's quiet and easier to get in and order but the selection will be pretty limited by then as this is an a.m. hop'n spot. On a nice day get it 'for here' and sit in the sun on the sidewalk at their one or two tables. Otherwise plan to take it with you to whatever warm lovely space you can find.
Enjoy the charm and history of this amazing small spot and the decadence of anything they have to offer. So much love for this place.

The BEST PIES in Portland!! Delish and worth every penny!
Unapologetic use of butter and the quality and taste of the pies speak for themselves! If you want a truly superb dessert -buy it from Lauretta Jean's!

The baked goods are absolutely delicious. However, the reason for my low rating is tied to the customer service. I ordered a banana créme pie for my coworker’s birthday three days ahead of time and it was not ready for pick up at the time I specified. The staff people even had a difficult time contacting their management and the primary location in SE to locate my preordered pie. It is clear that the downtown shop is being run by a young, business-immature staff with regular turnover. I likely won’t deal with the downtown store when it comes to preorders anymore.
