An absolutely perfect choice for breakfast. I had a delicious breakfast burrito that came with fries and a very tasty banana muffin (they make it freshly every morning). All that for just $18. Good portion, flavour was very rich and the service was to perfection. Perfect view as well with the sound of the waves of the ocean and the birds, roosters and the Hawaiian music as background. Just amazing!

Google
Awesome place on Kauai for oceanfront dining, great service, and live music. We will certainly dine here again on a future trip and I have no reservations about recommending it to others. We were staying at a hotel other than the one associated with this restaurant, but I had watched some positive reviews on YouTube and wanted to check it out. We arrived just an hour before closing time and we still got to enjoy the live music and had excellent service - even though they were officially closed by the time we left. We enjoyed the pleasant sea breeze the whole time. The excellent service started with the awesome valet team. They had a space under a cover they could park our Jeep so we didn't have to take the time to put the top back on before we ate (there was a chance it might rain, but it didn't). I ordered Huggo's Teriyaki Steak and added coconut shrimp and it was my favorite single meal of my two-week trip. I'll attach a photo but it won't really tell the story of how good it was. My dining companions were not as hungry - they both ordered Pupus, but they enjoyed them very much. The Onion Rings were crisp, came with a good sauce, and were presented well. The loaded Tipsy Tots with Teriyaki Steak added was enough for a meal and a bargain way to try the steak. I wished we had more time to dine there again before switching islands.

Food was pretty good here. I enjoyed the edamame & coconut shrimp- especially the guava dip. My boyfriend liked the poke nachos. I initially had a margarita which was very salty and I didn’t like it at all. A chicken ended up flying over the table and knocking it over, which worked out well because instead I got the ocean potion which I loved. The beach view is a huge plus, plus at dinner time there was live music that ended up playing until 30 minutes before closing.

3/2025 Caught me off guard! This charming beachside restaurant was a pleasant surprise with great presentations of food, really attentive service and a really great staff. In this day and age, given our labor and economic climate, i was so to see a restaurant seemingly doing this well, with good food and a professional staff. I still can't believe it. Definitely give them a try. Your experience comes with daily, early bird entertainment, a great and creative menu, fantastic and caring service, a beautiful ocean view, and free chickens! 🐔 😃😉🤙✌️

We stayed at a resort not too far from Lava Lava Beach Club for our honeymoon and loved this place! It was so convenient to walk right down the boardwalk for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! We probably ate there 4 times in the week we were there and truly enjoyed everything we got! The atmosphere was great with live music and the beautiful views! 10/10 recommend!

Google
What a marvelous place to dine and relax! We ate our food near the bar, and afterwards lounged by the beach! My bbq pork sandwich w/sweet potato fries was out of this world! Due to my dietary restrictions, I asked the waitress to place the coleslaw and onion rings on the side, which my husband easily gobbled down. Our waitress was sweet and accommodating. Great place to visit!

Google
A lovely beachfront spot for food, drinks and live music. The service is good and the atmosphere is lovely. It is a more pricey option though, so perhaps best for a happy hour drink and snack.

Google
This restaurants vibes are unmatched!! One of the only restaurants on the island that is directly ON the beach, where you dine with your sand in the toes. Often there is live music, and the drinks are so fun and good! Staff is amazing and this was attached to our hotel so we ended up getting several meals here over a week. Love love love 💕

Yelp
We have been to the Lava Lava Beach Club many times over the years. The view and location is one of the best on the island. The food and drinks have always been delicious. Recently, Kay was our server. She works hard, provides impeccable service and is a foodie so she gave us great suggestions for our dinner. The live music for happy hour and dinner 7 days a week is a treat for our group. The food is good quality and worth the price with fresh fish on a rotating daily special. Our other servers (like Roy) are great at giving thoughtful input when we want to explore a new dish. We would never have tried the Mango Tango naan flatbread and we left no crumbs. We prefer the fresh ingredients over carbs and heavy, and the salads here are bright and refreshing as well as the drinks. You can really tell that the chefs take pride in their work! You should give this place a try (at least once) if you are a foodie that enjoys good music and an excellent view.

Yelp
Anyplace that's on the ocean shore/waterfront immediately has that going for it. This place capitalizes on it at about 75 yards from the Pacific where you can hear the rhythmic lull of the waves washing ashore. The outdoor dining area is edged by Tiki torches with the tables pretty much in the sand making for a dine-on-the-beach feel. The counterpoint to that vibe is the bar which almost seems like an extension of the kitchen with its clean, shiny surfaces and task style sconces but giving it an upscale vibe. Menus are accessible through a QR code. Service is friendly and competent. The food is good. The drinks are well made and delicious but ridiculously, bordering on disgustingly, expensive (just keepin' it real). You can find less expensive places to eat but given the overall experience this place is worth the few steps off the beach--at least for one lunch.

Yelp
Come for the views and the drinks, not the food or the service! Our server was pretty rude to us when we requested to have our party of 5 to be seated at a large round table that had 6 chairs. We were told that those table are reserved for parties of 7 or more (but there are 6 chairs there??) and instead they frames us on to a square 4 top, so someone had to awkwardly sit on the corner of the table to fit us all. I would understand this rule they have for their tables if we were there on a Friday or Saturday night when they can expect to have a lot of large groups come in. But it was a Tuesday at 4pm.... And guess what? FOUR of those large tables stayed empty for the entirety of our meal. So you could've made our experience 10x better by accommodating our request without losing any other business or making another party wait for the table. This is a policy you might want to reconsider. We sat at the table for about 5 minutes before the waitress came back to let us know that it looked like it might rain and to let us know we could move inside instead if we wanted to. We politely declined because we were under an umbrella outside so we figured we'd be okay. Her response to us declining was to be snarky and let us know that right now is our only time to move to that table inside if we want because when it does rain on us, she wouldn't be willing to help us move with all of our plates and drinks if we changed our mind. (it didn't even end up raining by the way). But I could not believe how snarky she was about it! This set the mood for the night and honestly it went downhill from there overall. The drinks were delicious. Expensive, but we expected that. I had whatever the drink special was that night and I really enjoyed it. Only 2 out of the 5 in our party enjoyed their food. All of the burgers were really overcooked when ordered medium and medium-rare, the vegetables were bad (see tomato in photo) and the server didn't check on us after giving us our food to even see if we liked it. The sweet potato fries were good. The 2 who liked their food had the hook, line, and sinker and a flatbread. So maybe just stay away from the burgers if you go here. I don't know.. I'd be willing to overlook the mediocre food if the customer service had been better. But I've never been spoken to like that for no reason other than we asked if we could sit somewhere else. So it left a terrible taste in my mouth. This restaurant needs to learn that a beach view isn't a hard to find thing in Hawaii, so it doesn't give you the right to treat your customers as less-than. Next time we will pick one of the other million beachfront restaurants to spend our hard earned money at.

Yelp
: The food was not good. I hate to say it but not one thing we ordered from the menu had an sort of flavor and it was all very bland. I would recommend eating before coming here and just have some drinks for the ambiance. ‍: The service was great. They were prompt considering how busy they were. : Ambiance is definitely the best part of this restaurant. We were right on the shore and there was live music when we were there. Just come for the drinks and the vibes.

Tara K.

Yelp
The good...large place, both indoor and outdoor dining. The staff are all friendly and the view is gorgeous! I loved the large round tables outside which can seat a lot of people. The presentation of the food and drinks were beautiful too. The poke nachos were delicious but wish there was a little more fish as the chip to fish and topping ratio was slightly off. Great flavor however. The not so good...I had asked for medium-rare for my steak (I ordered the pineapple fried rice with steak) but my steak was almost well-done. I was so hungry after traveling I ended up eating it anyway and didn't want to wait for them to make another. Also, I ordered a cocktail and asked for cream in my drink and they forgot to add the cream and I was charged for it. The server apologized and said she could change the bill but it wasn't much and I didn't want to wait for the changes. My friends mentioned their food was lukewarm and not hot enough. Some of them enjoyed and others said their dishes were ok. Would come again for the view and some apps but probably not dinner.

Yelp
The pupu sampler was good, but we wish there were more fritto misto. We got a couple of their pizzas, the Hawaiian & the chicken gorgonzola, and the dough was good but the toppings were a bit lacking. The teriyaki steak and its sides were just okay. The swordfish special had good flavor but was small for the price, even with the charity donation, and the mashed purple sweet potatoes were dry and not very flavorful. The Kaua'i coffee cheesecake cake and drinks were pretty good. It's on the ocean and we sat outside with our toes in the sand but it was already dark so we didn't get to enjoy the view, our bad. Parking is a bit confusing as the restaurant is in the lobby at the back of a resort and there are only valet spots near the restaurant so you have to walk a little bit to find it.

Yelp
Nice open concept bar that was part of the hotel:) Had to give it a try for drinks at least. - Lava lava flow = wife loved it. I got a sip of it, was nice smooth cocktail with a coconut finish. - Huggo's mai tai = above average, but not as good as mine:) It had good strength at least. - Did not get to try any of the food, since my list of eats on the island was already too long... - With live music, this place definitely helped with the atmosphere of the Kauai Shores hotel. That alone made it a great club to have on site to provide the aloha mood!

Yelp
We came here as it was highly recommended by a lot of people on Facebook. It was a down pour this time of day, but there was plenty of inside seating with the doors open. We ordered our food from the QR code (which I had a very hard time getting it to scan, asked for a real menu, which they said they didn't have). So the struggle continued. My husband finally got it to work on his phone. I chose the pineapple dish and he got the pizza. We also ordered the appetizer of shrimp. When she took our order (on paper with a pen) we had the appetizer with in seconds. I'm not sure even how they had time to cook it. We were thankful for the speed of service, however, the shrimp were either over cooked or were heated from frozen. Not fresh at all. They were very rubbery. $23 My drink was very good! $11 The pizza was VERY TASTY. It was moist, the pork was really good and the pineapple tasted fresh. My husband didn't want to share!! Almost ordered a second one. $18 My pineapple dish, was very small, no more than a 1/2 cup of rice, and the "grilled chicken" was totally a precooked chicken heated up and added on top. It was absolutely terrible. I didn't eat the chicken after the first bite, but I did eat all the rest of the rice and scrapped the pineapple As clean as I could. I was STARVING after I was finished. $31 I have no clue how they get away with serving that quality of food for those prices. I would only recommend the drinks and the pizza to eat. The place was clean, the staff seemed annoyed that we were there and the waitress never came back to check on us until it was time to Pay. So I couldn't even get something different to eat. We spent over $120 for this meal (that included the $20 tip). This was supposed to be to be our wedding anniversary dinner. But it was a disappointment to say the least.

Lisa H.

Yelp
We loved sitting outside. We could watch the surf and enjoy the lovely weather. We had drinks, a pizza, lime pie, and chowder. The service was great and we would definitely go back.

Jillian D.

Yelp
This place is fabulous. It's relaxing being able to sit right out by the water for dinner. The food was delicious and we loved trying their special daily cocktail. Our server was friendly and convinced us to try dessert. The coffee cheesecake was unreal!

Erin M.

Yelp
If you're looking for good food and drinks with the perfect outdoor setting, this is your place! On top of that, the service was soo good. Our waitress was soo helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

Lorenzo K.

Yelp
Food is extremely overpriced and not very good. You're definitely paying for the ambiance which is nice. The dining is right on the beach. However I don't think the food prices are worth it. Staff was friendly.

Ayush K.

Yelp
Lava Lava Beach Club offers a picturesque beachfront dining with plenty of parking, both indoor and outdoor seating, and a relaxed atmosphere. While the complimentary muffins (#1 reason for 3- star rating) were a delightful treat, the rest of the dining experience left something to be desired. The chickens roaming around the tables might be a unique touch for some, but it can be a bit disconcerting for those who aren't accustomed to such close encounters. Chickens do their own thing and shouldn't bother you so it should be okay. Seeing chickens roaming around in the restaurants is actually quite common on the island so it shouldn't be a surprise. The service was leisurely, which was perfect for a relaxing beach day, but the food could have been more flavorful and served hot instead of cold. The eggs benedict and classic breakfast were average at best, lacking the depth of flavor and warmth that would make them truly memorable. Given the overall experience, the 3-star rating is primarily due to the delicious complimentary muffins. If you're looking for a casual spot to enjoy the beach and a quick bite to eat, Lava Lava Beach Club might be worth a visit, but don't expect a culinary masterpiece.

Nicole R.

Yelp
This place is the best! Food was amazing! We were there during happy hour - appetizer were $20.00 up to $28.00 We ordered three and loved every one of them. The location is amazing! Fun on every corner. They had live music and it was super enjoyable. The service was great

Nathan P.

Yelp
Great food, the best ambience in the entire world. Service was slightly slow, then again--this is Hawai'i, relax. Very welcoming atmosphere. Generous all of entertainment such as live music, cornhole, some kind of beach siding, and wild chickens. Bathrooms are clean, but was out of paper towel when I went. Free parking lot and valet parking. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

James G.

Yelp
We dined here for lunch on a Friday. We were seated promptly and enjoyed good service. There were chickens and their chicks near our table, which was funny. The chips and salsa were good. The salsa tasted very fresh. I loved the fish tacos. They were among the best I had in Kauai. A great view of the palm trees and ocean. Very relaxed, kid friendly, and tasty food.

Katie G.

Yelp
Live music in the evenings from 6-9. Indoor and outdoor seating. Free valet. Delicious food. Fast service. Beautiful views. This place was great to visit while on vacation.

Melody T.

Yelp
The view is absolutely breathtaking and you have the option to have a table inside or outside literally on the sand.. The food was good but we had ordered shrimp on our salad and they forgot to add the shrimp, so they brought back shrimp that they overcooked in a separate bowl instead of making us a fresh salad bowl which was very disappointing considering the price you are paying for their food! Our waitress was friendly but the poor lady was very busy helping everyone (great multitasker). They also had live music which was a very nice touch.

Michael S.

Yelp
Lava Lava is a beach side restaurant within the Kaua'i Shores Hotel grounds. The location is great -- you can dine at open or semi-covered tables, while watching the waves break, with your feet literally in the sand. The food was decent enough, but is not nearly as exceptional as the views! They offered complimentary muffins, which were one of the highlights. Coffee is at least average, but nothing amazing. Service was polite and attentive. For mains, I had the Wailua Bay Benedict -- essentially eggs benedict with kalua pork in place of Canadian bacon. The hollandaise sauce was supposedly yuzu (a Japanese citrus flavor) which was either very mild or non-existent. It was still pretty good, but more yuzu would be a great pairing with pork (similar to the addition of citrus with tacos!). The potatoes were fine, but nothing to write home about. Rice was the other option. The kids had pancakes (and bacon) and they were average, but spruced up by the coconut syrup (regular syrup was available too). We had mochi pancakes at Puakea Grill in Lihue and those were much better by comparison. The sides of fruit were discolored like they had been frozen and thawed. Not exactly what you'd expect from the Garden Isle. Overall, it is worth a visit if you want the experience of dining on the sand and the opportunity to take photos for social media. If you're a foodie and don't care about the experience, this may not be the place for you.

Amanda K.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Kauai for 5 nights for our honeymoon and must say that Lava was one of our favorite places for not only breakfast but also happy hour and even dinner! The food is delicious, service is quick and hospitable, and we highly recommend it! I must give a shout out to the most amazing bartender Benjie who made us feel at home and took care of us throughout our trip. He also works at RumFire and is just as kind and impressive there. Jonas was so amazing so shout out to the two of them and the team :). We look forward to coming back on our next Kauai trip!

Fornati B.

Yelp
We stopped at lava lava beach club before checking in to our hotel. Great way to start the trip. The vibes are very mellow, views are beautiful, and the musician is a great touch! We had the ahi poke which was very very fresh and the llbc burger was good. Drinks were great. They waiteess very accommodating with my daughter. She warmed her milk for me and brought her a side of avocado. Super sweet. Overall great experience.

Mike A.

Yelp
Location, location, location. You literally have your toes in the sand while eating here. With that said, some restaurants rely on their view instead of quality food. Lava lava has both the view and the food. I had a full rack of ribs with surprisingly good pineapple Cole slaw. Both were excellent. The fish of the day with purple potatoes was probably our best meal for this entire trip. The burgers and pizza were all great, too. They don't take reservations, so plan ahead to get the best viwes. They even have free valet parking. Enjoy the Aloha!

Aliyah H.

Yelp
This place continues to be the BEST beachfront restaurant and bar in the island (and this time we drove around to confirm!). The bartenders know how to make fantastic cocktails (Nelu actually won an award for his great Ube Coconut cocktail!). And the wait staff is profession and provides good service. The menu is great and has a variety of options - something for everyone! They also have live music every night!

Glecy L.

Yelp
Drinks- lava flow was very refreshing, prefered it over lava rock. One of our friends drinks was on a cracked glass that was spilling and when shecomplained apl they did was pour it to another gpass insteadof changing the whole drink (the fact tgat it was spillin) Fritto Misto- very oily esp the artichoke hearts The special was ono fish with risotto-- it came with polenta so not sure why they said risotto. Area- bt the beach front and they have likea play area which was nice but the food did not impress us at all. Not wprth the price for sure!!!!

Stacy S.

Yelp
Had a good dinner here while visiting Kauai. We started with drinks at the bar while we waited for our outdoor table. Our view was great, and our starters came quickly. The clouds, wind, and rain came just as quick. We were lucky to move to an indoor table to enjoy our main dishes. Our server was great.

Molly J.

Yelp
Food was amazing, especially the calamari. Everyone seemed nice. Beautiful views of the ocean as well, very chill vibes.

Johana P.

Yelp
We had seen this place on recommendations for Kauai because of the ambiance/music. Their ambiance and drinks were really good! Anything else, go somewhere else! The food was less than mediocre. We had high expectations given the price per plate which was more than the average dinner. My pizza was plain and sort of burnt? The special of the night was overpriced for the somewhat bland flavors. Hard to rate because it's a cool place but not for food.

Michelle S.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place that has it all, this is the place to be! Especially if you have the littles with you. How often are you served ahi with your toes in the sand? How often do you get to have live bass and an amazing grass area for the kiddos to play in!!! Amazing food. Cocktails were meh (could have just been me), but you couldn't beat the ambiance. The lady that was singing was phenomenal! We even looked her up to see what other covers she sang.. it was eclectic but modern? Not sure but my ears liked it. Totally fun place to come with friends , families or your date!!

Samantha W.

Yelp
During our four night stay in Kapa'a for our honeymoon in Feb. 2024, we had dinner here twice. We were staying right next to Lava Lava, so the first time we went here was because it looked cute and convenient. We went back a second time due to how much we loved the cocktails, food and view. Both times we ate outside on the sand and were able to watch the sunset. They also had live music both nights, which we enjoyed. Our favorite thing from Lava Lava was the Lava Lava Flow On the Rocks--we had never had a Lava Lava Flow like this before and it being NOT blended and made with fresh ingredients made it taste extra refreshing. We also had mai tais and the skinny dipper, which were also tasty. All the food we tried was great, too, and decent portion sizes. We had the Hawaiian pizza, mango tango naan, low and slow baby back ribs and the chicken pineapple fried rice bowl (which comes in a pineapple!!). Service was always quick and friendly. We appreciated the advice our server gave us on what to try from the menu.

Amanda D.

Yelp
I just can't get behind island time, but I really need to learn to relax. Best Mai Tais we've had so far. And that's saying something. Service was pleasant and definitely got better when we were filling out the tip line. Food was super local, but the view...just enjoy. Inside, outside, just amazing. Everything tasted great, good portions (not too big but big enough to share). Would highly recommend!

Dan F.

Yelp
It's all good...service, food, ambiance...and even a full Moon hovering over Pacific Ocean between the beautiful swaying palm trees. My wife and I enjoyed our last Kauai meal here...and we will be back! Mahalo

Erika C.

Yelp
Everything was amazing here! They had live music until 9 pm and we were seated right away outside by the beach. The waitress was very friendly and kind. The food was pretty good too especially for a higher price. The Hawaiian pizza was super tasty and the chicken fried was yummy coming in a pineapple. I am just sad we didn't just eat here every night. They had cute drink in souvenir cups too! We definitely would come here again!

Doug G.

Yelp
Found this gem while vacationing. Fantastic food and atmosphere! Get the pineapple fried rice. The coconut shrimp are fantastic.

Emily B.

Yelp
Very good gluten free menu. Delicious food and drinks with a killer view. We saw whales breach during breakfast. We are staying at the hotel that is connected and have eaten here a few times for breakfast and dinner. 10/10 service from Kaye and Nadia as well as the other servers. They recommended things to do on the island that were helpful for our trip. Live music during dinner was wonderful.

Teresa T.

Yelp
Cool place right in the beach!! It was kinda dead when we went but was during the week... it's such a great local

Shari C.

Yelp
Lava Lava Beach Club is located in the back of the Kauai Shores Hotel. It's a fantastic oceanfront restaurant that offers live music from 6-8pm everday. The parking lot is a bit narrow but they also have a valet option. We got a seat outside overlooking the ocean where we even got to see a whale! It got a bit chilly at night so bring a light sweater if you get cold easily. We ordered the parmesan garlic bread (delicious), and for my main I wanted to sample their favorites and ended up ordering the bambu pupu which is a seafood sampler that comes in a long bamboo tray. From most to least favorite in terms of taste, the platter came with ahi poke, coconut shrimp, calamari/shrimp with some slaw). The ribs were also very tasty and fell off the bone and the chocolate lava lava cake was decadent. Service was really slow, but our waitress was very personable and friendly. Overall, I would come back!

Iryna Z.

Yelp
We came for dinner without reservations and it was ok in spite the fact that all the restaurant was pretty busy inside and outside ! Food was in a beautiful plates! Life music was incredible! Thank you !!!

Misty M.

Yelp
The view! Can't get better than beachfront wave-watching with your tropical libations. Super cute retro vibe. Delicious and fairly priced options. Lovely and friendly servers. We'll be back!!

Gena M.

Yelp
The food is very good. The fresh catch of the day over pesto pasta was very good, Ono fish so good. The ahi appetizer was very tender and flavorful. The salad was refreshing, and the dressing was lightly on the spinach and not soggy, which was perfect. All the pizza was cooked perfectly, a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Ingredients on the pizza were paired nicely to compliment each flavor. The cheesecake dessert was exactly what was needed for a grand finish. The service was very good, attentive, and friendly. The inside was very nicely decorated, and the view and atmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful. You can see and hear the ocean. Wine offerings are very limited only one brand and either a Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and Merlot for the reds. A great spot for dinner in Hawaii.

Ram R.

Yelp
Great atmosphere although the chickens can be a little annoying and persistent at trying to get the food from your table. Food is decent and roughly on par with a lot of cafe food. Many foods are missing seasoning and could do with a little more salt. Overall passable and good to have while staying at the hotel.

K N.

Yelp
Visited the Lava Lava Beach Club twice while on vacation. They have music from 3-5 pm during happy hour and they have great ocean views. The first time we visited (during happy hour) we were able to order off of the dinner menu. However, the next time we visited which was closer to 3:30 we weren't able to order off the dinner menu. Apparently the kitchen closes between lunch and dinner and you can't order from the dinner menu until 4:30. We didn't realize this when we visited and we specifically came to have a burger. Food Rating: Straight Up Burger: I ordered the burger twice there wasn't anything special about it but it was an average burger. Mule: I enjoyed the mule it had a nice kick! The order seating looking at the ocean is really the best thing about this place especially when paired with the live music they host daily.

Anb T.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the atmosphere great. We sat outside by ocean. Sand floor and tiki torches. We got fish and shrimp and a caesar to split. All fresh and flavorful. A guitarist singing. Not loud at all and a semblance of privacy. Recommend.

Rosita T.

Yelp
Can't beat the location of the Lava Lava Beach Club. We came here straight from the airport and it was a great way to start our vacation. You enjoy your food and drinks with your feet in the sand and looking at the ocean. Absolutely gorgeous! The service was great too. The food deserves 4 stars. I ordered the poke bowl and the fish was super tasty and fresh. It was served with sweet potato chips which I wasn't a big fan of. The Skinny Dipper cocktail though was AMAZING. Super refreshing and light.

Tiffany C.

Yelp
This has to be one of the most beautiful places to eat in Kauai. It is kind of a hidden gem. We went on a beautiful night. The moon was almost full and seeing the moonlight on the ocean was incredible! There was live music and the ambiance could not have been better. The food is pricey but we LOVED the Chinese Spicy seared ahi. It was spicy so don't get it unless you like spicy. The flavors were out of this world. My husband got the Pineapple fried rice with chicken and garlic shrimp. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was better than I could have imagined. The rice has a delicious coconut milk flavor. Our friends got the ribs and the meat fell off the bones and melted in your mouth. As for cocktails, the coconut mai tai...so good!! If you're looking for a nice night out...dont miss this place!

Pallavi P.

Yelp
The best place to dine due to the view of the ocean and the beachfront It is very beautiful

Smrithi S.

Yelp
We had multiple meals here during our stay at the hotel. It's the perfect location on the beach, to enjoy meals or drinks. Started off with lunch on the day we arrived. We got the Chicken club sandwich and Coconut coast fish tacos. We loved both the sandwich and the tacos. Everything was bright and fresh, the service was very friendly. We had breakfast multiple times. Breakfast the first day was FBI Omelet, and Wailua Bay Breakfast. We loved both our dishes, the muffin that came with it was great. For dinner, we had pineapple fried rice, and sizzling shrimp. Loved the shrimp, and the bread that came with it. The pineapple fried rice was good. We finished with Chocolate Lava Lava cake. It was an amazing end to our meal. Breakfast next morning we had Eggs Benedict and the Classic breakfast with sausage and loved it. For breakfast another morning, I had Chia Pudding, it might have been the best Chia pudding I have had.

Yelp
Was recommended this spot and being on the beach gave it a go on a Saturday night around 6. Got seated right away and there was live music. Parking was tight but a big lot next to it in a shopping center. Our waitress was super nice and recommended some good eats. We got the pizza, the salad with strawberries and coconut shrimp and my daughter got the kids quesadilla with sweet potato fries. Everything was so delicious and also got a virgin lava flow to share with my daughter that she enjoyed. The view is great and there is big aloha sign for pictures after. Totally recommend going as a family or couples, we missed the happy hour and would go back for that.

Yelp
Where did my other 3 reviews go? The short and sweet of it is this is one delicious spot ! Delicious for the senses...right on the beach toes in the sand Delicious for the cheerful service Most of all..the food is just damn delicious. Since finding it a few years ago I've had breakfast lunch and dinner here. Always a great tropical beach vibe. Before leaving Dallas I decided as soon as I hit the ground in Kauai I was headed to Lava Lave to quinch and refuel. Go!

Yelp
Food serviceable. (Had breakfast here. Banana bread was good but lacked much banana and was bit crumbly, omelet was small and left me hungry...$4 for exchange patatoes for fruit... pineapple wasn't that fresh. Rest was. Charge $30 for 2 drinks that came in an imitation plastic curvy drink glass. Asked others and their opinion was the same. Stay away unless you just want to pay whatever and get convinence. Inside was nice and it's near the ocean. You hear the waves. (FYI the beer tap has been closed 4 days now said was out of order but they had like 9 or so beers on tap)
